2高效液相色谱-荧光检测法测定人血浆中的匹伐他汀(英文)显示文摘Pitavastatin belongs to the class of coenzyme A reductase inhibitors.Very few methods of assaying pitavastatin from human plasma are available in literature.An analytical method is presented for the determination of the drug from human plasma making use of the fluorescent property of the drug.The drug is extracted from plasma using ethyl acetate under neutral condition and then analyzed by reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) with fluorescence detection(λEx 245 nm;λEm 420 nm).Analysis of pitavastatin was carried out on a C18 HPLC column using a gradient flow of mobile phase(0.01 mol/L monobasic potassium phosphate(pH 3.20)-acetonitrile,63:37,v/v).Fluorescein isothiocyanate was used as internal standard.The dynamic range of assay was 3 to 50 ng/mL.The intraday precision was less than 10% and accuracy ranged from 95.2% to 112.6%.The same for interday check was less than 12% and 92.8% to 105.1%,respectively.The drug was found to be stable under the assay conditions.The developed method is simple,precise,accurate,and stable.This indicates that it can be applied to routine analysis of this drug in human subjects where there are large numbers of samples without the need of specialized instruments like column switching.OJHA Ashwini GUTTIKAR Swati VAYEDA Chintan PADH Harish 2007色谱2007,25,5:8

4Distribution of Pill Millipedes (Arthrosphaera) and Associated Soil Fauna in the Western Ghats and West Coast of India显示文摘Seven sampling sites in each of three biomes (Western Ghats, foothills of Western Ghats and west coast) of south- western India were investigated to study the distribution, abundance and ecology of pill millipedes (Arthrosphaera) and associated fauna in relation to edaphic features. Abundance and biomass of Arthrosphaera and other millipedes were the highest in Western Ghats, while earthworms were in foothills. Arthrosphaera magna and Arthrosphaera spp. were common in Western Ghats and foothills respectively, while no Arthrosphaera were found in the west coast. None of the sampling sites consisted of more than one species of Arthrosphaera. Biomass of Arthrosphaera, other millipedes and earthworms significantly differed in Western Ghats (P = 9.48 × 10-7) and foothills (P = 1.35 × 10-8), as did the biomass of species of Arthrosphaera (P = 2.76 × 10-7) between Western Ghats and foothills. Correlation analysis revealed that biomass of Arthrosphaera was significantly (P = 0.01, r = 0.45) correlated with soil organic carbon rather than other edaphic fea- tures (pH, phosphate, calcium and magnesium). Distribution pattern, abundance, biomass and ecology of Arthrosphaera of Western Ghats in relation to soil qualities were compared with millipedes of other regions of the world.K. M. ASHWINI K. R. 5Soil and water conservation measures improve soil carbon sequestration and soil quality under cashews显示文摘Land degradation is becoming a serious problem in the west coast region of India where one of the world's eight biodiversity hotspots,the‘Western Ghats’,is present.Poor land management practices and high rainfall have led to increasing problems associated with land degradation.A long-term(13-year)experiment was done to evaluate the impact of soil and water conservation measures on soil carbon sequestration and soil quality at three different depths under cashew nut cultivation on a 19%slope.Five soil and water conservation measures-continuous contour trenches,staggered contour trenches,halfmoon terraces,semi-elliptical trenches,and graded trenches all with vegetative barriers of Stylosanthes scabra and Vetiveria zizanoides and control were evaluated for their influence on soil properties,carbon sequestration,and soil quality under cashews.The soil and water conservation measures improved significantly the soil organic carbon,soil organic carbon stock,carbon sequestration rate and microbial activity compared to the control condition(without any measures).Among the measures tested,continuous contour trenches with vegetative barriers outperformed the others with respect to soil organic carbon stock,sequestration rate,and microbial activity.The lower metabolic quotient with the measures compared to the control indicated alleviation of environmental stress on microbes.Using principal component analysis and a correlation matrix,a minimum dataset was identified as the soil available nitrogen,bulk density,basal soil respiration,soil pH,acid phosphatase activity,and soil available boron and these were the most important soil properties controlling the soil quality.Four soil quality indices using two summation methods(additive and weighted)and two scoring methods(linear and non-linear)were developed using the minimum dataset.A linear weighted soil quality index was able to statistically differentiate the effect of soil and water conservation measures from that of the control.The highest value of the soil quality index of 0.98 was achieved with continuous contour trenches with a vegetative barrier.The results of the study indicate that soil and water conservation measures for cashews are a potential strategy to improve the soil carbon sequestration and soil quality along with improving crop productivity and reducing the erosion losses.Gopal Ramdas Mahajan Bappa Das Sandrasekaran Manivannan Begur Lakshminarasimha Manjunath Ram Ratan Verma Sujeet Desai Rahul Mukund Kulkarni Ashish Marotrao Latare Reshma Sale Dayesh Murgaonkar Kiran Puna Patel Shaiesh Morajkar Ashwini Desai Natasha Barnes Heena Mulla 2021International Journal of Sediment Research2021,36,2:4
6草药复方Bresol抵抗化合物48/80诱导的肥大细胞脱颗粒及组胺释放:促使肥大细胞稳定的一种非免疫机制(英文)显示文摘目的:研究一种草药复方制剂Bresol对于肥大细胞脱颗粒以及组胺释放的保护作用。方法:使用大鼠腹膜内肥大细胞,在体外经化合物48/80诱导肥大细胞脱颗粒及组胺释放,评估Bresol稳定肥大细胞的作用。结果:显微镜下正常对照组涂片显示较多完整的肥大细胞,有极少量的脱颗粒肥大细胞和微量的组胺释放。阳性对照组中用化合物48/80培养的肥大细胞出现了显著的肥大细胞脱颗粒现象以及高浓度的组胺释放。而100mg/L浓度的Bresol明显抑制了化合物48/80诱导的肥大细胞脱颗粒。此外,Bresol可有效抑制化合物48/80诱导的组胺释放,且抑制效果与剂量有关。结论:Bresol能够在体外抑制化合物48/80诱导的肥大细胞脱颗粒和组胺释放。本研究的发现可解释Bresol对多种过敏疾病有效可能是通过一种非免疫机制。Yathiraj Ashwini Mohamed Rafiq Gollapalle L.Viswanatha Subbanna Rajesh Selvam Senthilraja Mohammed Azeemuddin Suryakanth D.Anturlikar Paramesh Rangesh Pralhad S.Patki 2012中西医结合学报2012,10,6:3
7柚皮苷改善束缚性应激引起的小鼠生化指标及行为变化的一氧化氮调节机制(英文)显示文摘目的:研究柚皮苷对束缚性应激引起的小鼠生化指标改变、行为变化及线粒体功能紊乱的影响。方法:将小鼠按照体质量随机分组,分别给予不同药物治疗14 d。在第15天让所有小鼠接受束缚性应激刺激6 h,然后在接受各种不同的行为测试后处死。取小鼠的大脑匀浆进行各种生化指标测量和线粒体功能分析。结果:6 h的急性束缚性应激刺激能显著改变小鼠的行为(焦虑和记忆),引起生化指标变化和线粒体功能紊乱。用柚皮苷预处理(50或100 mg/kg口服)14 d则能显著减轻急性束缚性应激刺激引起的小鼠行为和生化指标变化以及线粒体功能紊乱(P<0.05);而使用一氧化氮的前体左旋精氨酸预处理(50 mg/kg腹腔注射)可以拮抗柚皮苷的保护效应(P<0.05)。此外,采用左旋精氨酸甲酯预处理(5 mg/kg腹腔注射)则导致柚皮苷的保护效应增强。结论:柚皮苷对束缚性应激刺激引起的小鼠行为和生化指标变化以及线粒体功能紊乱的保护作用与氮能神经通路有关。Gollapalle L.Viswanatha Hanumanthappa Shylaja K.Sadashiva Sandeep Rao Yathiraj Ashwini V.Ramaiah Santhosh Kumar C.Gangadharaiah Mohan Venkate Gowda Sunil M.Venkateshappa Sarvesh Kumar Subbanna Rajesh 2011中西医结合学报2011,9,11:3
8In situ synthesis of Ag-SiO_2 Janus particles with epoxy functionality for textile applications显示文摘A facile method for the synthesis of silver-silica(Ag-SiO_2) Janus particles with functionalities suitable for textile applications is reported.Silica nanoparticles prepared by the Stober method were functionalized with epoxy,amine,and thiol groups,which were confirmed by Fourier transform infrared analysis.The functionalized silica nanoparticles were used to produce Pickering emulsions,and the exposed surface was used for the attachment of silver nanoparticles(AgNPs) via the low-temperature chemical reduction method.The morphology and structure of the Ag-SiO_2 Janus particles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy,scanning transmission electron microscopy,high-resolution transmission electron microscopy,energy-dispersive X-ray analysis,and UV-vis spectroscopy.Because of their specific functionalities,these Ag-SiO_2 Janus particles are proposed for applications on textile substrates,as they can overcome several drawbacks of direct application of AgNPs on textiles,such as leaching,agglomeration,and instability during storage.Kamlesh Panwar Manjeet Jassal Ashwini K.Agrawal 2015Particuology2015,13,2:3

18Epidemiology, clinical features and transmission of re-emerging arboviral infection chikungunya显示文摘A number of re-emerging and emerging infectious diseases including chikungunya, West Nile, yellow fever, Zika, dengue, Japanese encephalitis, and others have increased in recent years, which threaten the public health across the globe. Chikungunya is a neglected re-emerging arboviral infection caused by chikungunya virus. Arboviral infections such as chikungunya, Zika and dengue have similar epidemiology, transmission cycles and clinical symptoms, which makes it difficult to diagnose these three infections. Moreover, there is no commercial vaccine or licensed therapy available for chikungunya infection, thus causing severe burden worldwide. Vector control may reduce the disease risk; however, this remains a challenge due to many factors including, but not limited to, evolution of insecticide resistance in mosquitoes, gaps in vector control tools, urbanization, environmental and demographic changes. Effective integrated vector control strategies and surveillance measures along with affordable vaccine development or anti-viral therapy are essential to control the infection.
