1Single-photon computational 3D imaging at 45 km显示文摘Single-photon light detection and ranging(lidar)offers single-photon sensitivity and picosecond timing resolution,which is desirable for high-precision three-dimensional(3 D)imaging over long distances.Despite important progress,further extending the imaging range presents enormous challenges because only a few echo photons return and are mixed with strong noise.Here,we tackled these challenges by constructing a high-efficiency,low-noise coaxial single-photon lidar system and developing a long-range-tailored computational algorithm that provides high photon efficiency and good noise tolerance.Using this technique,we experimentally demonstrated active single-photon 3 D imaging at a distance of up to 45 km in an urban environment,with a low return-signal level of^1 photon per pixel.Our system is feasible for imaging at a few hundreds of kilometers by refining the setup,and thus represents a step towards low-power and high-resolution lidar over extra-long ranges.ZHENG-PING LI XIN HUANG YUAN CAO BIN WANG YU-HUAI LI WEIJIE JIN CHAO YU JUN ZHANG QIANG ZHANG CHENG-ZHI PENG FEIHU XU AND JIAN-WEI PAN 2020Photonics Research2020,8,9:24
2Thermal Influence of the Couette Flow in a Hydrostatic Spindle on the Machining Precision显示文摘Hydrostatic spindles are increasingly used in precision machine tools. Thermal error is the key factor affecting the machining accuracy of the spindle, and research has focused on spindle thermal errors through examination of the influence of the temperature distribution, thermal deformation and spindle mode. However, seldom has any research investigated the thermal effects of the associated Couette flow. To study the heat transfer mechanism in spindle systems, the criterion of the heat transfer direction according to the temperature distribution of the Couette flow at different temperatures is deduced. The method is able to deal accurately with the significant phenomena occurring at every place where thermal energy flowed in such a spindle system. The variation of the motion error induced by thermal effects on a machine work-table during machining is predicated by establishing the thermo-mechanical error model of the hydrostatic spindle for a high precision machine tool. The flow state and thermal behavior of a hydrostatic spindle is analyzed with the evaluated heat power and the coefficients of the convective heat transfer over outer surface of the spindle are calculated, and the thermal influence on the oil film stiffness is evaluated. Thermal drift of the spindle nose is measured with an inductance micrometer, the thermal deformation data 1.35 μm after running for 4 h is consistent with the value predicted by the finite element analysis's simulated result 1.28 μm, and this demonstrates that the simulation method is feasible. 3Impact angle control over composite guidance law based on feedback linearization and finite time control显示文摘The impact angle control over guidance(IACG) law against stationary targets is proposed by using feedback linearization control(FLC) and finite time control(FTC). First, this paper transforms the kinematics equation of guidance systems into the feedbackable linearization model, in which the guidance law is obtained without considering the impact angle via FLC. For the purpose of the line of sight(LOS) angle and its rate converging to the desired values, the second-order LOS angle is considered as a double-integral system. Then, this paper utilizes FTC to design a controller which can guarantee the states of the double-integral system converging to the desired values. 4New bolting structure of fractured roof based on the Bossinesq equations显示文摘Present support theories contain a number of shortcomings in the designation of fractured roof bolt parameters of rectangular or trapezoidal coal roadways.Roof fall accidents occur easily in this kind of roadway.Based on the Bossinesq equations and the Mohr strength theory,we propose a theory of an anchored cluster structure for fractured roofs and have investigated the formation of such an anchored cluster structure,its self stability mechanism and mechanical properties.The results show that an anchor and the surrounding fractured rock can form a string-like supporting structure,referred to as the structure of an anchored cluster for rational bolt parameters.Not only can the structure maintain its own stability,but as well undertake the load of the overlying strata.The designated support parameters,based on anchored cluster theory can overcome the shortcomings of other support theories applied to a fractured roof of rectangular roadways or could not be calculated.Our anchored cluster theory can provide a theoretical basis for the design of support for rectangular fractured roofs.Furthermore,the theory will help to reduce the probability of roof fall accidents caused by local fractured rock blocks,which can destroy a supporting structure.LIU, Hongtao MA, Nianjie ZHAO, Feihu LIU, Fengming 2010Mining Science and Technology2010,20,2:4
5Formation and migration of space charge packet in low density polyethylene显示文摘Pressure wave propagation (PWP) method was utilized to observe the space charges packet-like behavior in sheet samples of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) under the relative low electric field. The experimental results show that space charge packets are always generated at the anode and move across the sample to the cathode regard- less of the polarity of DC voltage. 6Profiling of circular RNA N^(6)-methyladenosine in moso bamboo(Phyllostachys edulis)using nanopore-based direct RNA sequencing显示文摘N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)is a prevalent modification in messenger RNAs and circular RNAs that play important roles in regulating various aspects of RNA metabolism.However,the occurrence of the m^(6)A modification in plant circular RNAs has not been reported.A widely used method to identify m^(6)A modifications relies on m^(6)A-specific antibodies followed by next-generation sequencing of precipitated RNAs(MeRIP-Seq).However,one limitation of MeRIP-Seq is that it does not provide the precise location of m^(6)A at single-nucleotide resolution.Although more recent sequencing techniques such as Nanopore-based direct RNA sequencing(DRS)can overcome such limitations,the technology does not allow sequencing of circular RNAs,as these molecules lack a poly(A)tail.Here,we developed a novel method to detect the precise location of m^(6)A modifications in circular RNAs using Nanopore DRS.We first enriched our samples for circular RNAs,which we then fragmented and sequenced on the Nanopore platform with a customized protocol.Using this method,we identified 470 unique circular RNAs from DRS reads based on the back-spliced junction region.Among exonic circular RNAs,about 10%contained m^(6)A sites,which mainly occurred around acceptor and donor splice sites.This study demonstrates the utility of our antibody-independent method in identifying total and methylated circular RNAs using Nanopore DRS.This method has the additional advantage of providing the exact location of m^(6)A sites at single-base resolution in circular RNAs or linear transcripts from non-coding RNA without poly(A)tails.Yongsheng Wang Huihui Wang Feihu Xi Huiyuan Wang Ximei Han Wentao Wei Hangxiao Zhang Qianyue Zhang Yushan Zheng Qiang Zhu Markus V.Kohnen Anireddy S.N.Reddy Lianfeng Gu 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,12:3
7Conductive and tribological properties of TiN-Ag composite coatings under grease lubrication显示文摘TiN-Ag composite coatings were prepared by pulsed bias arc ion plating.X-ray diffraction(XRD)and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS)were applied to analyze the compositions of the coatings.Tribological properties of the coatings were studied using an MFT-R4000 ball-on-disk friction tester in the presence of lubricating greases containing multilayer graphene.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Raman spectroscopy,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)were used to analyze the worn surface compositions of the lubricating films.The results show that with the decrease in Ag in the film,hardness increased but electrical conductivity decreased.The coating with 10 at%Ag content shows the best friction-reducing and anti-wear properties,which can be attributed to the moderate content of Ag embedded in the TiN crystal gap that enhanced the grain bonding force to improve the anti-wear and self-lubricating ability.Graphene can be adsorbed on the coating as a solid lubricant.Feihu LIN Yanqiu XIA Xin FENG 2021Friction2021,9,4:3
8Basic and clinical study of increased effect of partial anti-tumor agents by infusing sodium bicarbonate through target artery显示文摘Objective: To observe the influence of pH value on the proliferation of LAK cells and on the killing effect of rIL-2, IFN-ɑ2b, TNF-α, LAK cells and doxorubicin on malignant tumor cells, and investigate the possibility of increasing the efficacy of rIL-2 or IFN-ɑ2b and doxorubicin by infusing sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) through target arteries. Methods: Separating single nucleus cells from peripheral blood of healthy men, and observing the influence of pH on the activation of single nucleus cells by rIL-2. MTT assay was used to measure the killing effect of rIL-2, IFN-ɑ2b and TNF-α on 7404 cells and the increased effect of doxorubicin on rIL-2 and IFN-ɑ2b, the cytotoxity of LAK cells in different pH. Forty-two patients with advanced primary liver cancer were obtained by stratified random, NaHCO3, rIL-2/IFN-ɑ2b and doxorubicin were infused through target arteries. The efficacy was estimated after two cycles. Results: The conditions of pH 7.3 and pH 7.6 in vitro helped the proliferation of LAK cells and the killing effect of rIL-2, IFN-ɑ2b and LAK cells on 7404 cells. In the condition of pH 6.8 there was almost no killing effect for LAK cells. In the condition of pH 7.0, 7.2, 7.4 and 7.6, the killing rate of TNF-α to 7404 cells increased by degrees, and in pH 7.4 the killing effect was the optimum. After two cycles treatments in the 42 patients with advanced primary liver cancer, the response rate (CR+PR) was 88% (37/42). The median overall response and median overall survival were increased , and no complication associated with infusing sodium bicarbonate was observed. 9Ultrafast response of harmonic modelocked THz lasers显示文摘The use of fundamental modelocking to generate short terahertz(THz)pulses and THz frequency combs from semiconductor lasers has become a routine affair,using quantum cascade lasers(QCLs)as a gain medium.However,unlike classic laser diodes,no demonstrations of harmonic modelocking,active or passive,have been shown in THz QCLs,where multiple pulses per round trip are generated when the laser is modulated at the harmonics of the cavity’s fundamental round-trip frequency.Here,using time-resolved THz techniques,we show for the first time harmonic injection and mode-locking in which THz QCLs are modulated at the harmonics of the round-trip frequency.We demonstrate the generation of the harmonic electrical beatnote within a QCL,its injection locking to an active modulation and its direct translation to harmonic pulse generation using the unique ultrafast nature of our approach.Finally,we show indications of self-starting harmonic emission,i.e.,without external modulation,where the QCL operates exclusively on a harmonic(up to its 15th harmonic)of the round-trip frequency.This behaviour is supported by time-resolved simulations of induced gain and loss in the system and shows the importance of the electronic,as well as photonic,nature of QCLs.These results open up the prospect of passive harmonic modelocking and THz pulse generation,as well as the generation of low-noise microwave generation in the hundreds of GHz region.Feihu Wang Valentino Pistore Michael Riesch Hanond Nong Pierre-Baptiste Vigneron Raffaele Colombelli Olivier Parillaud Juliette Mangeney Jerome Tignon Christian Jirauschek Sukhdeep S.Dhillon 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:3

11Rainbow technique for multi-parameter measurement of absorbing cylinder显示文摘Rainbow refractometry is widely used to measure the radius and real part of refractive index of a cylinder.However,studies on the detection of imaginary part of the refractive index with rainbow technique were scarce.This paper presents a new method for simultaneously measuring the radius,real and imaginary part of the refractive index of a cylinder,on the basis of the Airy theory and the Bouguer theory.The rainbows produced by the illuminated cylinder at a capillary exit are captured by a CCD camera in a labscale system,and then processed by the proposed method.Experimental results showed that the radius,real and imaginary part of the refractive index can be accurately determined when the SNR(signal to noise ratio)of the ripple structure is sufficiently high.However,the SNR of the ripple structure gradually decreases with decreasing scattering intensity of the cylinder,leading to larger measurement errors of the radius and real part of the refractive index.The relative error of the imaginary part of the refractive index derived from the measurement errors of the radius and real part of the refractive index,is less than3.4%.Feihu Song Chuanlong Xu Shimin Wang 2013Particuology2013,11,2:2
12Historical evolution and the effects of ecological management in Tarim Basin, China显示文摘The Tarim Basin, in northwestern China, is the largest continental basin in the world, and hosts desert landscapes as well as extensive oasis agriculture. Many horticultural products come from this basin. However, since the 1950s, frequent river flow interruptions have occurred in the lower reaches of the Tarim River. Thus, the natural ecology of the basin has undergone significant changes because of recent human economic and social activities. In particular, water resource development and utilization along with climate changes have had a significant impact on the area. To prevent further deterioration of the environment, the Central Government implemented a water conveyance project in 2000. Based on this project, Chinese scientists, together with those from overseas, have conducted extensive research on the historical evolution of the area, and the physiological and ecological responses of the natural vegetation around the Tarim Desert Highway. 13Determination of paraquat in water samples using a sensitive fluorescent probe titration method显示文摘Paraquat(PQ),a nonselective herbicide,is non-fluorescent in aqueous solutions.Thus,its determination through direct fluorescent methods is not feasible.The supramolecular inclusion interaction of PQ with cucurbit[7]uril was studied by a fluorescent probe titration method.Significant quenching of the fluorescence intensity of the cucurbit[7]uril-coptisine fluorescent probe was observed with the addition of PQ.A new fluorescent probe titration method with high selectivity and sensitivity at the ng/mL level was developed to determine PQ in aqueous solutions with good precision and accuracy based on the significant quenching of the supramolecular complex fluorescence intensity.The proposed method was successfully used in the determination of PQ in lake water,tap water,well water,and ditch water in an agricultural area,with recoveries of 96.73% to 105.77%.The fluorescence quenching values(F) showed a good linear relationship with PQ concentrations from 1.0 × 108 to 1.2× 105 mol/L with a detection limit of 3.35 × 109 mol/L.In addition,the interaction models of the supramolecular complexes formed between the host and the guest were established using theoretical calculations.The interaction mechanism between the cucurbit[7]uril and PQ was confirmed by 1 H NMR spectroscopy.Feihu Yao Hailong Liu Guangquan Wang Liming Du Xiaofen Yin Yunlong Fu 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,6:2
14Evolutionary Programming for IP/MIP Problems with Linear Constraints显示文摘In this paper, we propose a modified evolutionary programming with dynamic domain for solving nonlinear IP/MIP problems with linear constraints, without involving penalty function or any transformation for the problem to a linear model or others.
