| 3 | OXIDATION OF A TWO-PHASE Cu-75Cr ALLOY IN AIRAT 700-900℃显示文摘The cormsion in air of a two-phase Cu-75Cr alloy was studied at 700-900℃. Thealloy cormded nearly parabolically at 700-800℃, but at 900℃ its instantaneousparabolic mte constant decreased with time. The scales were complex and consistedof an outermost layer of copper oxide generally followed bg a layer of the double ox-ide Cu2 Cr2 O4 sometimes containing particles of unoxidized chromium surmunded bya chromia layer. An innermost layer of chromia was also observed in some cases.Finally metallic copper was al8o frequently mixed with chromia particles. No Cr de-pletion was observed in the alloy close to the inteffoce with the scale. In any case,this alloy was not able to form an exclusive continuous protective chromia layer. | 4 | Comparison of Wirsung-jejunal duct-tomucosa and dunking technique for pancreatojejunostomy after pancreatoduodenectomy显示文摘Pancreato-enteric reconstruction after pancreatoduodenectomy (PD) is still a source of debate because of the high incidence of complications. Among the various types of pancreato-jejunostomies we don’t know yet which is the best in terms of anastomotic failure and related complications rates. Wirsung-jejunal duct-to-mucosa anastomosis (WJ) and 'dunking' pancreato-jejunal anastomosis (DPJ) are the two most used ones worldwide but conflicting results are reported. To determine which is the safer anastomosis and to define when an anastomosis should be preferred, we retrospectively reviewed two groups of patients who underwent WJ or DPJ. METHODS:Twenty-three patients underwent PD with WJ (n=17) with dilated (WJD) (n=9) or not-dilated Wirsung’s duct (WJND) (n=8) or with a DPJ (n=6) over a 3-year period at a single institution. RESULTS: The complications rate was high in all groups of patients (33.3% in WJD, 37.5% in WJND and 66.7% in DPJ). A pancreatic fistula developed in one patient in each group (11. 1% in WJD, 12. 5% in WJND and 16. 7% in DPJ). All these patients were managed conservatively. Anastomotic disruption took place in the WJ patients especially in the WJND group (n=2) compared to the WJD (n=1) (25% vs 11.1%) or DPJ groups (0%) : these three patients required a re-operation. Overall, the anastomotic defects were higher in patients who underwent WJND (37.5%), compared to WJD (22.2%) and to DPJ (16.7%). However, no statistical differences were found among the groups. Delayed gastric emptying (DGE) and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) along with anastomotic defects were responsible for a prolonged hospital stay. CONCLUSIONS:Our results were not able to demonstrate any statistical difference between the two different techniques in preventing anastomotic failure. WJ can represent a valid choice in case of a dilated duct and a firm, fibrotic enlarged gland that could not be properly invaginated in a small jejunal loop. | 5 | Detection of Allelic Variation in Chinese Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Germplasm with Drought ToleranceUsing SSR Markers显示文摘Allelic variation in two domestic wheat landraces, Pingyaobaimai and Mazhamai, two cornerstone breeding materials and their derived cultivars with drought tolerance was detected by SSR (simple sequence repeat) markers. The clustering of 25 accessions showed that the similarity between Pingyaobaimai and Yanda1817, the latter was developed from the former, was 0.71, the highest one of all accessions, but the similarities were very low between these two accessions and other accessions including their derived cultivars. A similar situation was revealed between Mazhamai and its derived cultivars. Pingyaobaimai and its three derived cultivars shared three alleles at loci Xgwm526, Xgwm538 and Xgwm126 on chromosome arms 2BL, 4BL and 5AL, respectively. There were six shared alleles in Mazhamai and its derived cultivars, in order of Xgwm157,Xgwm126, Xgwm212, Xgwm626, Xgwm471 and Xgwm44 on chromosome arms 2DL, 5AL, 5DL, 6BL, 7AS and 7DC, respectively. Only one shared allele was detected between the pedigrees of Pingyaobaimai and Mazhamai. The dual Gabriel theorem for a coalgebra with a separable coradical is obtained, which generalizes the corresponding result for a pointed coalgebra. We also give a new description of C1 = C0 ∧X C0 of any coalgebra C, which can be regarded as a generalization of the first part of the well-known Taft-Wilson Theorem for pointed coalgebras. | 9 | Evolution of Microstructure and Mechanical Property during Long-Term Aging in Udimet 720Li显示文摘Thermal stabilities of microstructure and mechanical property have been investigated on super- alloy U72OLi, which is of great interest of application for jet engine and land-based turbine disc. The results showed that, the primary and secondary γ’?particles maintain good thermal stability at 650 and 7000C with aging time up to 3000 h, while the tertiary γ’?is apparently dependent on aging temperature and time. The tertiary γ’?particles undergo a procedure of coarsening, dissolution and eventually complete disappearance with the increasing of aging time and temper- ature. They exhibit unusual high sensibility upon aging temperature, which is attributed to the lattice misfit between the γ’?precipitates and the matrix in the alloy. The grain boundary phase M23C6 remains stable without forming of sigma phase even with aging time up to 3000 h at 700℃. Microhardness decreases apparently with increasing aging time and aging temperature. | 14 | In vitro Effect of Dithiocarbamate Pesticides and of CaNa_2EDTA on Human Serum Dopamine-β-hydroxylase显示文摘Serum dopamine-β-hydroxylase (DBH) inhibition has been reported in lead workers treated with CaNa2EDTA and in alcoholic patients repeatedly treated with the alcohol aversive drug Disulfiram. The mechanism of inhibition involves Cu-chelation at the active site of DBH. The effect of CaNa2EDTA and Disulfiram on serum DBH has been compared to the effect of dithiocarbamate pesticides in vitro for the possible use of serum DBH determination for the biological monitoring of workers exposed to these pesticides.Most dithiocarbamates inhibit human serum DBH at micromoIar concentrations (range of I50, 0.027-1.6 μmol/L). The inhibitory potency increased from methyl- and dimethyl dithiocarbamates to diethyl dithiocarbamates up to the most potent ethylene bisdithiocarbamates. The I50 of CaNa.EDTA was 3.8 mol/L, higher than those of dithiocarbamates. Copper addition to the test system rcactivated at stoichiometric concentrations dithiocarbamaie-inhibited DBH indicating that both base line values and percent of inhibition can be calculated in a single blood sample. The self-healing of coating is obvious and effective above 673K. The pressure dependence of permeation flux indicates strong surface contribution. The way of filling hydrogen by continuous flow and/or bubble can increase permeation flux. The result of SEM-EDS shows that the microcrack is on the surface of the wetted part, but not on the not wetted part. The crack is superficial and affects only thin outside layer not penetrate aluminized layer. The surface elemental analysis shows that Al/O atomic ratio changes from 2/3 of not wetted part to about 1 of wetted part. A Vindication of Max Planck显示文摘A radical attempt to develop the Planck ether theory has been made by Winterberg who, however, assumes positive and negative Planck masses in order to have a zero cosmological constant and to overcome the divergence problems of quantum electrodynamics. Now, it is evident that two opposite Planckions,interact- ing with each other have parallel accelerations, thus going on accelerating each other up to infinite energy. We also show that a negative inertia leads to self-acceleration of a simple particle because of the fields present in any interaction, even those relative to ' contact' actions which are unable to produce Winterberg’s vortex rings without the use of long range forces. The appearance of the electric field in the Planckion model is unjustified and in contradiction with MacCullagh’s condition used by Winterberg, We suggest a possible solution. Other difficulties regard the nonannihilation of the positive and negative Planckions, although they are antiparticles to each other, and the justification of the elementary particle masses which are small submultiples of the Planck masses. Finally, Winterberg thinks of having derived special relativity from prerelativistic physics by demanding invariance of the Lorentz condition under both Galilei and Lorentz transformations, which is impossible.
