1Phosphorylation of LTF1, an MYB Transcription Factor in Populus, Acts as a Sensory Switch Regulating Lignin Biosynthesis in Wood Cells显示文摘Lignin is specifically deposited in plant secondary cell walls,and initiation of lignin biosynthesis is regulated by a variety of developmental and environmental signals.However,the mechanisms governing the regulation of lignin biosynthesis remain to be elucidated.In this study,we identified a lignin biosynthesis-associated transcription factor(LTF)from Populus,LTF1,which binds the promoter of a key lignin biosynthetic gene encoding 4-coumarate-CoA ligase(4CL).We showed that LTF1 in its unphosphorylated state functions as a regulator restraining lignin biosynthesis.When LTF1 becomes phosphorylated by PdMPK6 in response to external stimuli such as wounding,it undergoes degradation through a proteasome pathway,resulting in activation of lignification.Expression of a phosphorylation-null mutant version of LTF1 led to stable protein accumulation and persistent attenuation of lignification in wood cells.Taken together,our study reveals a mechanism whereby LTF1 phosphorylation acts as a sensory switch to regulate lignin biosynthesis in response to environmental stimuli.The discovery of novel modulators and mechanisms modifying lignin biosynthesis has important implications for improving the utilization of cell-wall biomass.Jinshan Gui Laifu Luo Yu Zhong Jiayan Sun Toshiaki Umezawa Laigeng Li 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,10:10
2Numerical Investigations on the Steady and Unsteady Leakage Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics of Rotor Blade Squealer Tip显示文摘The steady and unsteady leakage flow and heat transfer characteristics of the rotor blade squealer tip were conducted by solving Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS) equations with k-ω turbulence model.The first stage of GE-E3 engine with squealer tip in the rotor was adopted to perform this work.The tip clearance was set to be 1% of the rotor blade height and the groove depth was specified as 2% of the span.The results showed that there were two vortexes in the tip gap which determined the local heat transfer characteristics.In the steady flow field,the high heat transfer coefficient existed at several positions.In the unsteady case,the flow field in the squealer tip was mainly influenced by the upstream wake and the interaction of the blades potential fields.These unsteady effects induced the periodic variation of the leakage flow and the vortexes,which resulted in the fluctuation of the heat transfer coefficient.The largest fluctuation of the heat transfer coefficient on the surface of the groove bottom exceeded 16% of the averaged value on the surface of the squealer tip.Jun LI Hao SUN Jinshan WANG Zhenping FENG 2011Journal of Thermal Science2011,20,4:9
33D finite element simulation of explosive welding of three-layer plates显示文摘A 3D finite element model of the explosive welding process of three-layer plates with materials of steel-copper-copper is established. Based on the presented model, the bonding mechanism is simulated and analyzed, different detonation modes are also comparatively studied to indicate the driving force spread in few microseconds. The results show that the three layer plates bond together after many times of impact between the flyers and the base driven by detonation wave, which is damping rapidly at each impact with wavelength decreasing. The pressure at the detonation point is minimal, which induces non-bonding of the plates here. 4Effects of Ti addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-Zn-Zr-Ca alloys显示文摘The effects of Ti additions(0,0.4,0.6,0.8,1.0,1.2 wt.%)on the microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast and aging Mg-0.4%Zn-1.0%Zr-1.5%Ca(wt.%)alloys were investigated.The results indicated that minor Ti can effectively refine grains,while excessive Ti addition resulted in the grain coarsening.When the content of Ti was 0.8 wt.%,the as-cast alloy exhibited the finest grain size of 39μm which contributed to the optimal mechanical properties with Brinell hardness of 57.9 HB,ultimate tensile strength of 145 MPa and elongation of 3.2%.After T6 heat treatment,the continuous net-like Mg_(2)Ca and Mg_(6)Zn_(3)Ca_(2)phases changed to uniform massive T phases(ternary Mg-Zn-Ca phases)and dispersive halo-like precipitates(Mg_(2)Ca and Mg_(6)Zn_(3)Ca_(2)phases).The ultimate tensile strengths of the alloy at room temperature(RT),175℃and 200℃were correspondingly improved to 182 MPa,169 MPa and 141 MPa,respectively.Jingai Chen Yan Sun Jinshan Zhang Weili Cheng Xiaofeng Niu Chunxiang Xu 2015Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2015,3,2:4
5Trending IC design directions in 2022显示文摘For the non-stop demands for a better and smarter society, the number of electronic devices keeps increasing exponentially;and the computation power, communication data rate, smart sensing capability and intelligence are always not enough. Hardware supports software, while the integrated circuit(IC) is the core of hardware. In this long review paper, we summarize and discuss recent trending IC design directions and challenges, and try to give the readers big/cool pictures on each selected small/hot topics. 6The first-principle study on the equation of state of HMX under high pressure显示文摘The equation of states (EOS) of high energy explosive HMX (octahydro-1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocine) has been studied by using the first principle method. Our results include the lattice constants, elastic constants, and the dependence of total energy and pressure on volume for βand δ-HMX. The calculated elastic constants and the pressure-volume relationship of β-HMX are also compared with the experimental values. The theoretical tensile experiments are implemented on the β-HMX. 9Global Dynamics of a Multi-group SEIR Epidemic Model with Infection Age显示文摘Consider the heterogeneity(e.g.,heterogeneous social behaviour,heterogeneity due to different geography,contrasting contact patterns and different numbers of sexual partners etc.)of host population,in this paper,the authors propose an infection age multigroup SEIR epidemic model.The model system also incorporates the feedback variables,where the infectivity of infected individuals may depend on the infection age.In the direction of mathematical analysis of model,the basic reproduction number R_0 has been computed.The global stability of disease-free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium have been established in the term of R_(0).More precisely,for R_(0)≤1,the disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable and for R_(0)>1,they establish global stability of endemic equilibrium using some graph theoretic techniques to Lyapunov function method.By considering a numerical example,they investigate the effects of infection age and feedback on the prevalence of the disease.Their result shows that feedback parameters have different and even opposite effects on different groups.However,by choosing an appropriate value of feedback parameters,the disease could be eradicated or maintained at endemic level.Besides,the infection age of infected individuals may also change the behaviour of the disease,global stable to damped oscillations or damped oscillations to global stable.Vijay Pal BAJIYA Jai Prakash TRIPATHI Vipul KAKKAR Jinshan WANG Guiquan SUN 2021Chinese Annals of Mathematics,Series B2021,42,6:1

16Stability analysis of robotic longitudinal-torsional composite ultrasonic milling显示文摘Currently,industrial robots are considered as an alternative towards traditional machine tools.Especially for the large-scale parts milling,robotic flexibility and low cost make it possess the irreplaceability.However,the milling chatter caused by its weak rigidity hampers robotic application and promotion severely in aviation industry.Rotary ultrasonic milling(RUM)technology with one-dimensional axial vibration has been proven and approved on avoiding robotic chatter.Based on this,the research of project team demonstrates that longitudinal-torsional composite ultrasonic milling(CUM-LT)involving separation characteristic has a greater advantage than RUM in terms of chatter suppression.Thereby,the CUM-LT as a new means is applied to avoid processing vibration of robotic milling system.And its influence mechanism on stability improvement of weak stiffness processing system is clarified.Meanwhile,the approaches to strengthen separation effect are provided innovatively.Moreover,a new analysis method of robotic CUM-LT(RCUM-LT)stability is proposed on the basis of ultrasonic function angles.The simulation and experimental results indicate that compared with robotic RUM(RRUM),stability regions of separated RCUM-LT(SRCUM-LT)and unseparated RCUM-LT(URCUM-LT)are improved by 124.42%and39.20%,respectively.The addition of torsional ultrasonic energy has a wonderful effect on the milling chatter suppression of low stiffness robots.Lianjun SUN Wenhe LIAO Kan ZHENG Wei TIAN Jinshan LIU Jindan FENG 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,8:1

18Fabry disease combined with acute interstitial nephritis:one case and literature review显示文摘目的:探讨Fabry病合并急性间质性肾炎的临床表现和病理特点。方法:回顾性分析首都儿科研究所附属儿童医院肾脏内科2017年1月收治的1例Fabry病合并急性间质性肾炎患儿的临床资料,并以“Fabry病,急性间质性肾炎”为关键词,分别检索万方和PubMed等数据库的相关文献,进行总结。结果:患儿为10岁余男童,急性起病,临床肾功能不全为主要表现,无肾外表现。肾活检提示肾间质可见弥漫分布的水肿,电镜足细胞内可见分层状的髓磷样小体及斑马小体形成,足突节段融合。该患者最终诊断为Fabry病合并急性间质性肾炎。文献检索结果尚未发现有病例报道。结论:Fabry病作为一种X连锁遗传的溶酶体贮积症,和急性间质性肾炎是否存在共同的致病机制尚不清楚,早期进行肾脏活检对本病诊断有重要意义。Jinshan Sun Chaoying Chen Yubing Wen 2018TMR Clinical Research2018,1,2:0
19H_(2)O_(2) treatment boosts activity of NiFe layered double hydroxide for electro-catalytic oxidation of urea显示文摘Urea oxidation reaction(UOR)provides a method for hydrogen production besides wastewater treatment,but the current limited catalytic activity has prevented the application.Herein,we develop a novel H_(2)O_(2) treatment strategy for tailoring the surface oxygen ligand of NiFe-layered double hydroxides(NiFe-LDH).The sample after H_(2)O_(2) treatment(NiFeOLDH)shows significant enhancement on UOR efficiency,with the potential of 1.37 V(RHE)to reach a current density of 10 mA/cm^(2).The boost is attributed to the richness adsorption O ligand on NiFeO-LDH as revealed by XPS and Raman analysis.DFT calculation indicates formation of two possible types of oxygen ligands:adsorbed oxygen on the surface and exposed from hydroxyl group,lowered the desorption energy of CO_(2) product,which lead to the lowered onset potential.This strategy is further extended to NiFe-LDH nano sheet on Ni foam to reach a higher current density of 440 mA/cm^(2) of UOR at 1.8 V(RHE).The facile surface O ligand manipulation is also expected to give chance to many other electro-catalytic oxidations.Jinshan Wei Jin Wang Xiaoming Sun 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,7:0
