1中越水稻迁飞性害虫稻飞虱、稻纵卷叶螟发生关系分析显示文摘中越两国同属东亚季风区,水稻病虫害在发生危害上为一个整体。每年水稻稻飞虱、稻纵卷叶螟(以下简称'两迁'害虫)随着季节和气温变化,在两国间往返迁飞,发生为害,相互影响。研究两国水稻迁飞性害虫发生的关系和影响规律,对于提高监测预警的早期预见性和防控工作的主动性,有效控制其危害具有重要意义。2010年以来,中越两国实施了中越水稻迁飞性害虫监测与防治合作项目,通过连续多年开展交流合作,初步明确了越南'两迁'害虫发生规律。本文简要分析了影响越南'两迁'害虫发生的主要因素,探讨了中越两国水稻'两迁'害虫发生规律的相关性,对提高中国'两迁'害虫中、长期预报能力和综合治理水平发挥了积极作用。陆明红 刘万才 胡高 翟保平 Hoang Anh Tuan Do Hong Khanh 2018植物保护2018,44,3:18
2Deep Learning Based Single Image Super-resolution:A Survey显示文摘Single image super-resolution has attracted increasing attention and has a wide range of applications in satellite imaging, medical imaging, computer vision, security surveillance imaging, remote sensing, objection detection, and recognition. Recently, deep learning techniques have emerged and blossomed, producing ' the state-of-the-art” in many domains. Due to their capability in feature extraction and mapping, it is very helpful to predict high-frequency details lost in low-resolution images. In this paper, we give an overview of recent advances in deep learning-based models and methods that have been applied to single image super-resolution tasks. 5Artificial lights improve the catchability of snow crab (Chionoecetes opilio) traps显示文摘This study investigated the behaviour and commercial catchability of snow crab(Chionoecetes opilio)in response to different low-powered LED lights under laboratory and field conditions.We created a novel choice-experiment in a laboratory setting in which we investigated the behaviour of snow crab in response to coloured LED lights.The results showed that snow crab movement was dependent on light colour,with animals choosing to move toward blue and white lights,away from purple lights,and no detectable effect for green and red lights.We then conducted two field experiments to investigate the effect of the same LED lights on the catch rates of commercial traps during the 2016 snow crab fishery on the east coast of Newfoundland and Labrador.Results from the first field experiment showed that adding white and purple LED lights into baited traps significantly improved Catch Per Unit Effort(CPUE)by 77% and 47% respectively.Results from the second field experiment showed that unbaited traps equipped with only LED lights(no bait),could also catch snow crab in comparable amounts to traditional baited traps,with soak time and depth explaining some of the variation in CPUE.Taken together,these experiments suggest that fishing enterprises can improve their catching performance and profitability by adding LED lights to their traps,or by using LED lights as a bait replacement.Khanh Q.Nguyen Paul D.Winger Corey Morris Scott M.Grant 2017Aquaculture and Fisheries2017,2,3:5
6Determining the road traffic accident hotspots using GIS-based temporal-spatial statistical analytic techniques in Hanoi,Vietnam显示文摘This study applied GIS-based statistical analytic techniques to investigate the influence of accident Severity Index(SI)on temporal-spatial patterns of accident hotspots related to the specific time intervals of day and seasons.Road Traffic Accident(RTA)data in 3 years(2015-2017)in Hanoi,Vietnam were used to analyze and test this approach.Firstly,the RTA data were divided into four seasons in accordance with Hanoi's weather conditions and the time intervals such as the daytime,nighttime,or peak hours.Then,the Kernel Density Estimation(KDE)method was applied to analyze hotspots according to the time intervals and seasons.Finally,the results were presented by using the comap technique.This study considered both analyses with and without SI.The accident SI measures the seriousness of an accident.The approach method is to give higher weights to the more serious accidents,but not with the extremely high values calculated on a direct rate to the accident expenditures.The results showed that both analyses determined the relatively similar hotspots,but the rankings of some hotspots were quite different due to the integration of SI.It is better to take into account SI in determining RTA hotspots because the gained results are more precise and the rankings of hotspots are more accurate.From there,the traffic authorities can easily understand the causes behind each accident and provide reasonable solutions to solve the most dangerous hotspots in case of limited budget and resources appropriately.This is also the first study about this issue in Vietnam,so the contribution of the article will help the traffic authorities easily solve this problem not only in Hanoi but also in other cities.Khanh Giang Le Pei Liu Liang-Tay Lin 2020Geo-Spatial Information Science2020,23,2:4
7STABILITY ANALYSIS OF A COMPUTER VIRUS PROPAGATION MODEL WITH ANTIDOTE IN VULNERABLE SYSTEM显示文摘We study a proposed model describing the propagation of computer virus in the network with antidote in vulnerable system. Mathematical analysis shows that dynamics of the spread of computer viruses is determined by the threshold R_0. If R_0 ≤ 1, the virusfree equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, and if R_0 > 1, the endemic equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. Lyapunov functional method as well as geometric approach are used for proving the global stability of equilibria. A numerical investigation is carried out to confirm the analytical results. 9Theoretical basis of a beneficial role for vitamin D in viral hepatitis显示文摘Abnormal bone metabolism and dysfunction of the calcium-parathyroid hormone-vitamin D axis have been reported in patients with viral hepatitis. Some studies suggested a relationship between vitamin D and viral hepatitis. Genetic studies have provided an opportunity to identify the proteins that link vitamin D to the pathology of viral hepatitis (i.e., the major histocompatibility complex class Ⅱ molecules, the vitamin D receptor, cytochrome P 450 , the renin-angiotensin system, apolipoprotein E, liver X receptor, toll-like receptor, and the proteins regulated by the Sp1 promoter gene). Vitamin D also exerts its effects on viral hepatitis via non-genomic factors, i.e., matrix metalloproteinase, endothelial vascular growth factor, prostaglandins, cyclooxygenase-2, and oxidative stress. In conclusion, vitamin D could have a beneficial role in viral hepatitis. 11Use of light-emitting diode(LED)lamps in combination with metal halide(MH)lamps reduce fuel consumption in the Vietnamese purse seine fishery显示文摘The use of high-power lights during night-time purse seining is common in Vietnam.Typically,metal halide(MH)lamps are used in the commercial fishery to attract fish,however these lights require more energy,have a shorter lifespan,and lower chromatic performance than light emitting diode(LED)lamps.This study examined catch efficiency and fuel consumption when using LED lamps in combination with reduced numbers of MH lamps(10.24 kW),compared to conventional lighting(28.6 kW),used during purse seining off the coast of Ninh Thuan province,Vietnam.The economic performance associated with using LED lamps in this fishery was also assessed.We found no significant differences in catch rates between the different light treatments,however fuel consumption was significantly reduced.Fuel consumption per nightly trip using LED with MH lamps was 70.8 l(11.1 l/h)compared to114 l(17.45 l/hr)using MH lamps alone,an estimated 37.9%reduction in fuel consumption.An investment in LED lamps by a fishing enterprise will require additional initial costs,however our analysis revealed the financial break-event point can be reached after approximately 101 nightly trips when the fuel price is at the 2015 level of USD$0.74 per l.Fishing enterprises can increase their profitability,and reduce CO2 emissions,by using LED lamps in the Vietnamese purse seine fishery.Khanh Q.Nguyen Phu D.Tran Luong T.Nguyen Phuong V.To Corey J.Morris 2021Aquaculture and Fisheries2021,6,4:2
12Structural and luminescent properties of (Eu,Tb) PO_4·H_2O nanorods/nanowires prepared by microwave technique显示文摘Nanowires/nanorods of europium/terbium orthophosphate monohydrate with Eu3+ concentration of 6,11,and 20 at.% were prepared by microwave synthesis method.The effects of Eu3+ doping concentration on structure,morphology and optical properties of nanoma-terials were also investigated.The results showed that,for all studied Eu3+ doping concentrations,a single-crystalline phase of rhabdo-phane-type(Eu,Tb) PO4·H2O nanowires/nanorods was obtained by using microwave heating of an aqueous solution of terbium(III) nitrate,europium(III) nitrate and NH4H2PO4 with pH=2.The length and width of these nanowires/nanorods ranged from 150 to 300 nm and from 10 to 50 nm,respectively.The evidence of energy transfer from Tb3+ to Eu3+ due to the energy overlap between the donor Tb3+ and the acceptor Eu3+ was observed obviously via a significant enhancement in the luminescent intensity of Eu3+.Nguyen Thanh Huong Nguyen Duc Van Dinh Manh Tien Do Khanh Tung Nguyen Thanh Binh Tran Kim Anh Le Quoc Minh 2011Journal of Rare Earths2011,29,12:2
