1Framework Construction and Application for Global Health Information Platform显示文摘In order to understand the global health related information rapidly and timely, a global health information platform based on big data from internet is constructed. In this paper, we introduce the framework and application of the global health information platform. The functions of information platform mainly include two aspects: to analyze and disseminate theoretical and technological progress of the main research fields in global health and to monitor real-time emergencies, epidemic situation and hot topics related to the field of global health. The objective of this research is to establish a Chinese-English bilingual information platform in the global health field. 2A Multiple Feature Approach for Disorder Normalization in Clinical Notes显示文摘In this paper we propose a multiple feature approach for the normalization task which can map each disorder mention in the text to a unique unified medical language system(UMLS)concept unique identifier(CUI). We develop a two-step method to acquire a list of candidate CUIs and their associated preferred names using UMLS API and to choose the closest CUI by calculating the similarity between the input disorder mention and each candidate. The similarity calculation step is formulated as a classification problem and multiple features(string features,ranking features,similarity features,and contextual features) are used to normalize the disorder mentions. 3Silicon saturation coefficient changes in hydrogarnets during the Bayer process with lime addition显示文摘The relationship between the silicon saturation coefficient of hydrogarnets and Bayer reaction parameters was studied. The peak position, crystal plane spacing, and cell edge length of typical hydrogarnet patterns were calculated to find the key factors influencing the relationship. The results showed that the crystal face(420) is the optimal garnet growth direction during hydration and crystal growth along the faces(521) and(611) were not affected significantly by the varying experimental conditions. The reaction temperature significantly influenced the silicon saturation coefficient of hydrogarnets. The silicon saturation coefficient of hydrogarnets increased from 0.2 to about 1.0 in the temperature range of 30–270 °C and a rapid expansion process was observed in the temperature range of 120–150 °C. Moreover, the reaction time, alumina concentration, and C/S were shown to be less important factors. Averaging the results obtained by the 3 methods was shown suitable for calculating the SiO2 saturation coefficient of hydrogarnets. The calculated results of the Al2O3 and SiO2 contents matched the actual ones.
