| 1 | Fringe pattern analysis using deep learning显示文摘In many optical metrology techniques,fringe pattern analysis is the central algorithm for recovering the underlying phase distribution from the recorded fringe patterns.Despite extensive research efforts for decades,how to extract the desired phase information,with the highest possible accuracy,from the minimum number of fringe patterns remains one of the most challenging open problems.Inspired by recent successes of deep learning techniques for computer vision and other applications,we demonstrate for the first time,to our knowledge,that the deep neural networks can be trained to perform fringe analysis,which substantially enhances the accuracy of phase demodulation from a single fringe pattern.The effectiveness of the proposed method is experimentally verified using carrier fringe patterns under the scenario of fringe projection profilometry.Experimental results demonstrate its superior performance,in terms of high accuracy and edge-preserving,over two representative single-frame techniques:Fourier transform profilometry and windowed Fourier transform profilometry. | Shijie Feng Qian Chen Guohua Gu Tianyang Tao Liang Zhang Yan Hu Wei Yin Chao Zuo | 2019 | Advanced Photonics2019,1,2: | 31 |

| 5 | Clinical profiles and outcomes of acute type A aortic dissection and intramural hematoma in the current era: lessons from the first registry of aortic dissection in China显示文摘Background::Acute type A aortic dissection(ATAAD)and acute type A intramural hematoma(ATAIMH)are life-threatening diseases with high mortality.To better understand their clinical features in the Chinese population,we analyzed the data from the first Registry of Aortic Dissection in China(Sino-RAD)to promote the understanding and management of the diseases.Methods::All patients with ATAAD and ATAIMH enrolled in Sino-RAD from January 1,2012 to December 31,2016 were involved.The data of patients’selection,history,symptoms,management,outcomes,and postoperation complications were analyzed in the study.The continuous variables were compared using the Student’s t test for normal distributions and the Mann-Whitney U test for non-normal distributions.Categorical variables were compared using the Chi-square test or Fisher exact test.Results::A total of 1582 patients with ATAAD and 130 patients with ATAIMH were included.The mean age of all patients was 48.4 years.Patients with ATAAD were significantly younger than patients with ATAIMH(48.9 years vs.55.6 years,P<0.001).For the total cohort,males were dominant,but the male ratio of patients with ATAAD was significantly higher compared to those with ATAIMH(P=0.01).The time range from the onset of symptom to hospitalization was 2.0 days.More patients of ATAIMH had hypertension than that of ATAAD(82.3%vs.67.6%,P<0.05).Chest and back pain were the most common clinical symptoms.Computerized tomography(CT)was the most common initial diagnostic imaging modality.84.7%received surgical treatment and in-hospital mortality was 5.3%.Patients with ATAAD mainly received surgical treatment(89.6%),while most patients with ATAIMH received medical treatment(39.2%)or endovascular repair(35.4%).Conclusions::Our study suggests that doctors should comprehensively use clinical examination and genetic background screening for patients with ATAAD and ATAIMH and further shorten the time range from symptoms onset to intervention,achieving early diagnosis and treatment,thereby reducing the mortality rate of patients with aortic dissection in China.We should standardize the procedures of aortic dissection treatment and improve people’s understanding.Meanwhile,the curing and transferring efficiency should also be improved. | Wei-Xun Duan Wei-Guang Wang Lin Xia Chao Xue Bo Yu Kai Ren Wei Yi Hong-Liang Liang Xiao-Chao Dong Jian Zuo Jin-Cheng Liu Shi-Qiang Yu Ding-Hua Yi | 2021 | Chinese Medical Journal2021,,8: | 15 |

| 9 | Effects of Primary Annealing Condition on Recrystallization Texture in a Grain Oriented Silicon Steel显示文摘The recrystallization texture in grain oriented silicon steel sheets, which were annealed at different primary annealing temperatures with and without an electric field, was investigated. An automated electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD) technique was used to analyze the recrystallization texture. It was found that recovery and application of electric field in primary annealing lead to an increase of {001} component and a decrease of {111} component after annealing at 900℃. | 10 | Impact of enteral nutrition on energy metabolism in patients with Crohn's disease显示文摘AIM: To investigate the impact of enteral nutrition(EN) on the body composition and metabolism in patientswith Crohn's disease(CD). METHODS: Sixty-one patients diagnosed with CD were enrolled in this study. They were given only EN(enteral nutritional suspension, TPF, non-elemental diet) support for 4 wk, without any treatment with corticosteroids, immunosuppressive drugs, infliximab or by surgical operation. Body composition statistics such as weight, body mass index, skeletal muscle mass(SMM), fat mass, protein mass and inflammation indexes such as C-reactive protein(CRP), erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) and CD activity index(CDAI) were recorded before and after EN support. RESULTS: The 61 patients were divided into three groups according to CDAI before and after EN support: A(active phase into remission via EN, n = 21), B(remained in active phase before and after EN, n = 19) and C(in remission before and after EN, n = 21). Patients in group A had a significant increase in SMM(22.11 ± 4.77 kg vs 23.23 ± 4.49 kg, P = 0.044), protein mass(8.01 ± 1.57 kg vs 8.44 ± 1.45 kg, P = 0.019) and decrease in resting energy expenditure(REE) per kilogram(27.42 ± 5.01 kcal/kg per day vs 22.62 ± 5.45 kcal/kg per day, P < 0.05). There was no significant difference between predicted and measured REE in active CD patients according to the HarrisBenedict equation. There was no linear correlation between the measured REE and CRP, ESR or CDAI in active CD patients. | 11 | Mechanical properties of rock under coupled static-dynamic loads显示文摘Rock drilling machine,INSTRON testing system,and SHPB device are updated to investigate the characteristics of rocks at great depth,with high loads from overburden,tectonic stresses and dynamic impacts due to blasting and boring.It is verified that these testing systems can be used to study the mechanical properties of rock material under coupled static and dynamic loading condition and give useful guidance for the deep mining and underground cavern excavation.Various tests to determine the rock strength,fragmentation behavior,and energy absorption were conducted using the updated testing systems.It is shown that under coupled static-dynamic loads,if the axial prestress is lower than its elastic limit,the rock strength is higher than the individual static or dynamic strength.At the same axial prestress,rock strength under coupled loads rises with the increasing strain rates.Under coupled static and dynamic loads,rock is observed to fail with tensile mode.While shear failure may exist if axial prestress is high enough.In addition,it is shown that the percentage of small particles increases with the increasing axial prestress and impact load based on the analysis of the particle-size distribution of fragments.It is also suggested that the energy absorption ratio of a specimen varies with coupled loads,and the maximum energy absorption ratio for a rock can be obtained with an appropriate combination of static and dynamic loads. | Xibing Li Zilong Zhou Fujun Zhao Yujun Zuo Chunde Ma Zhouyuan Ye Liang Hong | 2009 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2009,1,1: | 8 |

Many researchers investigated dynamic properties of a gearbox with localized pitting damage on a single gear tooth. The dynamic properties of a gearbox with pitting distributed over multiple teeth have rarely been investigated. In this paper, gear tooth pitting propagation to neighboring teeth is modeled and investigated for a pair of spur gears. Tooth pitting propagation effect on time-varying mesh stiffness, gearbox dynamics and vibration characteristics is studied and then fault symptoms are revealed.In addition, the influence of gear mesh damping and environmental noise on gearbox vibration properties is investigated. In the end, 114 statistical features are tested to estimate tooth pitting growth. | 13 | A multidisciplinary,integrated approach for the elimination of schistosomiasis:a longitudinal study in a historically hyperendemic region in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River,China from 2005 to 2014显示文摘Background:Although great success has been achieved,schistosomiasis remains a major public health concern in China,and the remaining core endemic regions are concentrated along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.In this longitudinal study,we evaluated the effectiveness of a multidisciplinary,integrated approach for schistosomiasis elimination in a historically hyper-endemic region in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River,China over the 10-year period from 2005 through 2014.Methods:A three-step roadmap for schistosomiasis elimination was designed in the study site,and multidisciplinary,integrated interventions were implemented by the health,agriculture,water resources development,land and resources,and forestry sectors from 2005 to 2014,including chemotherapy for infected individuals,health education,management of the source of Schistosoma japonicum infection,and intermediate host snail control.The annual number of schistosomiasis patients,S.japonicum infection in humans,bovines and Oncomelania hupensis snails,and water infectivity were observed to assess the effectiveness of the multidisciplinary,integrated approach for the elimination of schistosomiasis.Results:There was a tendency towards a gradual decline in both the number of schistosomiasis cases and the prevalence of S.japonicum human infection across the study period from 2005 through 2014.No S.japonicum human infection was detected since 2012,and no acute infection was seen since 2006.During the study period,no infection was found in bovines,and a 0.03%overall infection rate was observed in O.hupensis snails.Since 2009,no infected snails were identified,and the area of both snail habitats and infected snail habitats appeared a reduction over the study period.Following the 3-year multidisciplinary,integrated control,infection control was achieved,and transmission control was achieved after 6-year implementation,with all infected snails and water infectivity eliminated;in addition,the 10-year implementation resulted in interruption of schistosomiasis transmission in the study site in 2014.Conclusions:The results of the present 10-year longitudinal study demonstrate that the multidisciplinary,integrated approach is effective for the elimination of schistosomiasis as a public health problem in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River,China. | Le-Ping Sun Wei Wang Yin-Ping Zuo Qing-Biao Hong Guang-Lin Du Yu-Cai Ma Jian Wang Guo-Jing Yang Dao-Jian Zhu You-Sheng Liang | 2017 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2017,6,1: | 8 |
| 14 | An integrated environmental improvement of marshlands:impact on control and elimination of schistosomiasis in marshland regions along the Yangtze River,China显示文摘Background:Schistosomiasis is a global snail-transmitted infectious disease of poverty.Transmission control had been achieved in China in 2015 after the control efforts for over 60 years.Currently,the remaining core regions endemic for Schistosoma japonicum are mainly located in the marshland and lake regions along the Yangtze River basin.Methods:During the period from 2001 through 2015,an integrated environmental improvement of the marshlands was carried out through the implementation of industrial,agricultural and resources development projects in Yizheng County along the Yangtze River.S.japonicum infection in humans,livestock and snails was estimated by serology,stool examination,hatching technique and microscopy during the 15-year study period to evaluate the effect of the integrated environmental improvement on control and elimination of schistosomiasis.Results:A 0.05%overall rate of S.japonicum infection was observed in snails during the 15-year study period,and no infected snails were detected since 2012.The overall prevalence of S.japonicum infection was 0.09%in humans during the study period,and no human infection was found since 2012.In addition,only 13 bovines were identified with S.japonicum infection in 2003 during the 15-year study period,and since 2004,no infection was found in livestock.Conclusion:The results of the present study demonstrate that the implementation of industrial,agricultural and water resources development projects,not only alters snail habitats in marshland regions,and promotes local economic development,which appears a win-to-win strategy to block the transmission of S.japonicum and accelerate socio-economic development along the Yangtze River. | Le-Ping Sun Wei Wang Yin-Ping Zuo Zheng-Qiu Zhang Qing-Biao Hong Guo-Jing Yang Hong-Ru Zhu You-Sheng Liang Hai-Tao Yang | 2017 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2017,6,1: | 8 |
| 15 | Establishing Submersed Macrophytes via Sinking and Colonization of Shoot Fragments Clipped off Manually显示文摘In this paper,sinking and growth of apexes and mid-stems of Myriophyllum spicatum L.,Hydrilla verticillata (L.f.) Royle and Ceratophyllum demersum L. in concrete ponds containing eutrophic water and sediment were investigated. Sinking rates of apexes and mid-stems reached 34.8% and 4.4% at the 6 th day and 91.1% and 66.7% at the 22 nd day for M. spicatum,57.8% and 55.6% at the 6 th day and 100% and 97.8% at the 22 nd day for H. verticillata,18.9% and 86.7% at the 6 th day and 95.6% and 100% at the 22 nd day for C. demersum,respectively. Most sunken fragments established themselves successfully with significant growth. Total shoot length of plantlets developed from apexes and mid-stems increased by 399% and 61% for M. spicatum,593% and 256% for H. verticillata and 114% and 104% for C. demersum,respectively. | 17 | Microstructural and textural evolutions in multilayered Ti/Cu composites processed by accumulative roll bonding显示文摘Ti/Cu multilayered composites were fabricated via accumulative roll bonding(ARB). During codeformation of the constituent metals, the hard Ti layers necked preferentially and then fragmented with the development of shear bands. Transmission electron microscopy showed that with increasing ARB cycles, grains in Ti were significantly refined even though dynamic recrystallization has occurred. For Cu the significant grain refinement was only found within the shear banded region when the composite was processed after five ARB cycles. Due to the diffusion of Cu atoms into Ti at the heterophase interfaces, amorphization with a width less than 10 nm was identified even in the composite processed by one cycle. At higher ARB cycles, the width of amorphous region increased and intermetallic compounds CuTi appeared from the region. The lattice defects introduced at the heterophase interfaces under roll bonding was responsible for the formation of the nano-scaled compounds. X-ray diffraction showed that an abnormal {1120} fiber texture was developed in Ti layers, while significant brass-type textures were developed in Cu layers. Some orientations along the {1120} fiber favored the prismatic < a> slip for Ti.Tensile tests revealed the elevated strength without a substantial sacrifice of ductility in the composites during ARB. | 18 | Combined pretreatment using CaO and liquid fraction of digestate of rice straw: Anaerobic digestion performance and electron transfer显示文摘To improve anaerobic digestion(AD)efficiency of rice straw,solid alkaline CaO and the liquid fraction of digestate(LFD)were used as pretreatment agents of rice straw.The results showed that AD performance of rice straw with CaOLFD pretreatment was optimal in different pretreatment methods of the CaO+LFD,CaOLFD,LFD+CaO,CaO,and LFD.The maximum methane yield(314 ml(g VS)^(-1))and the highest VFAs concentration(14851 mg·L^(-1) on day 3)of the CaOLFD pretreatment group were 81%and 118%higher than that of the control group,respectively.Under the action of solid alkaline CaO,the bacteria of Clostridium,Atopostipes,Sphaerochaeta,Tissierella,Thiopseudomonas,Rikenellaceae,and Sedimentibacter could build up co-cultures with the archaeal of Methanosaeta,Methanobacterium,and Methanosarcina performing direct interspecies electron transfer(DIET)and improving AD performance of rice straw.Therefore,the combined pretreatment using CaO and LFD could not only pretreat rice straw but also stimulate co-cultures of microorganism to establish DIET enhancing AD efficiency. | Ruolin Guan Hairong Yuan Liang Zhang Xiaoyu Zuo Xiujin Li | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,8: | 5 |
