| 1 | Neuroimage-Based Consciousness Evaluation of Patients with Secondary Doubtful Hydrocephalus Before and After Lumbar Drainage显示文摘Hydrocephalus is often treated with a cerebrospinal fluid shunt(CFS) for excessive amounts of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain.However,it is very difficult to distinguish whether the ventricular enlargement is due to hydrocephalus or other causes,such as brain atrophy after brain damage and surgery.The non-trivial evaluation of the consciousness level,along with a continuous drainage test of the lumbar cistern is thus clinically important before the decision for CFS is made.We studied 32 secondary mild hydrocephalus patients with different consciousness levels,who received T1 and diffusion tensor imaging magnetic resonance scans before and after lumbar cerebrospinal fluid drainage.We applied a novel machine-learning method to find the most discriminative features from the multi-modal neuroimages.Then,we built a regression model to regress the JFK Coma Recovery Scale-Revised(CRS-R) scores to quantify the level of consciousness.The experimental results showed that our method not only approximated the CRS-R scores but also tracked the temporal changes in individual patients.The regression model has high potential for the evaluation of consciousness in clinical practice. | Jiayu Huo Zengxin Qi Sen Chen Qian Wang Xuehai Wu Di Zang Tanikawa Hiromi Jiaxing Tan Lichi Zhang Weijun Tang Dinggang Shen | 2020 | Neuroscience Bulletin2020，36，9： | 7 |
| 2 | Evaluation of Urban Development Quality Based on the Connotation of High-Quality Development: A Case Study of Guangdong Province显示文摘In this paper, based on the interpretation of the connotation of high-quality development, an urban development quality evaluation index system was established from six aspects of economic strength, the level of science and education, government management, resources and environment, the level of openness, and infrastructure, the entropy method and cluster analysis were used to conduct an empirical analysis of the quality of urban development in Guangdong Province, and relevant suggestions were proposed accordingly. The results showed that:(1) the level of science and education was the most important factor affecting the quality of urban development in Guangdong Province;(2) the quality of urban development in Guangdong Province was extremely uncoordinated;(3) cities with stronger economic strength had lower resource and environment evaluation;(4) cities of Guangdong Province could be divided into three categories: cities in a quality optimization stage, cities in a quality improvement stage, and cities in a quality lagging stage that could be further divided into three categories. | YE Lichi | 2019 | Journal of Landscape Research2019，11，2： | 3 |
| 3 | A New Word Clustering Algorithm Based on Word Similarity显示文摘Category-based statistic language model is an important method to solve the problem of sparse data in statistical language models. But there are two bottlenecks about this model: 1) The problem of word clustering, it is hard to find a suitable clustering method that has good performance and has not large amount of computation; 2)Class-based method always loses some prediction ability to adapt the text of different domain. In order to solve above problems, a novel definition of word similarity by utilizing mutual information was presented.
