1平顶光束激光冲击2024铝合金诱导残余应力场的模拟与实验显示文摘对平顶光束激光冲击2024铝合金诱导的残余应力情况进行了有限元模拟与实验研究。改进了平顶光束诱导冲击波的压力分布模型,并将该模型用于残余应力场的有限元模拟。在实验室环境下获得了适合用于激光冲击的高质量平顶光束,并使用该光束进行激光冲击2024铝合金的实验,实验结果和模拟结果基本一致。研究发现平顶光束冲击2024铝合金有如下特点:存在一个阈值,当激光冲击波压力小于该阈值时,影响区内残余应力场近似均匀分布;当冲击波压力大于该阈值时会引起'残余应力洞',但该'残余应力洞'内部近似均匀分布。在深度方向上,塑性影响深度和最大残余应力深度随激光冲击波压力的增加而增加。余天宇 戴峰泽 张永康(指导) 安中伟 Charles LOY 张曙光 王庆伟 2012中国激光2012,39,10:20
2Rehabilitation following spinal cord injury:how animal models can help our understanding of exercise-induced neuroplasticity显示文摘Spinal cord injury is a devastating condition that is followed by long and often unsuccessful recovery after trauma. The state of the art approach to manage paralysis and concomitant impairments is rehabilitation, which is the only strategy that has proven to be effective and beneficial for the patients over the last decades. How rehabilitation influences the remodeling of spinal axonal connections in patients is important to understand, in order to better target these changes and define the optimal timing and onset of training. While clinically the answers to these questions remain difficult to obtain, rodent models of rehabilitation like bicycling, treadmill training, swimming, enriched environments or wheel running that mimic clinical rehabilitation can be helpful to reveal the axonal changes underlying motor recovery. 3Patients'perspectives on smoking and inflammatory bowel disease:An online survey in collaboration with European Federation of Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis Associations显示文摘BACKGROUNDSmoking has detrimental effects on Crohn’s disease (CD) activity while data onulcerative colitis (UC) are conflicting. Little is known about the use and impact ofalternative smoking products in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD).AIMTo understand the patients’ perceptions of the impact of smoking on their IBDand to assess differences between CD and UC patients.METHODSThe questionnaire was developed by Philip Morris Products SA in cooperationwith European Federation of Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis Associations. Thefinal survey questionnaire consisted of 41 questions divided in 8 categories: (1)Subject screener;(2) Smoking history;(3) Background information;(4) IBD diseasebackground;(5) Current disease status;(6) Current therapeutics and medications;and (7) Current nicotine/cigarettes use and awareness of the impacts of smokingon IBD. The questionnaire was submitted online from 4th November 2019 to 11th March 2020 through the European Federation of Crohn's and Ulcerative ColitisAssociations website to IBD patients who were current smokers or had a historyof smoking.RESULTSIn total 1050 IBD patients speaking nine languages participated to the survey.Among them, 807 (76.9%) patients declared to have ever smoked or consumed analternative smoking product, with a higher proportion of current cigarettesmokers among CD patients (CD: 63.1% vs UC: 54.1%, P = 0.012). About twothirdsof the participants declared to have ever stopped cigarette smoking andrestarted (67.0%), with a significantly higher proportion among UC patientscompared to CD patients (73.1% vs 62.0%, P = 0.001). We also found significantdifferences between CD and UC patients in the awareness of the healthconsequences of smoking in their disease and in the perceived impact of smokingon disease activity, for both cigarettes and alternative smoking products.CONCLUSIONThis survey found significant differences between CD and UC patients in bothawareness and perception of the impact of smoking on their disease. 4Prediction of Compressive Strength of Biodegradable Mg–Zn/HA Composite via Response Surface Methodology and Its Biodegradation显示文摘This work aimed to fabricate magnesium zinc/hydroxyapatite(Mg–Zn/HA) composite via powder metallurgy method and to develop a mathematical model to predict the compressive strength of the composite using response surface methodology method. The effect of various mechanical milling parameters, milling speed(200–300 r/min), ball-to-powder weight ratio(5–12.5)and HA content(2.6–10 wt%) on the compressive strength of Mg–Zn/HA composite was investigated. The model shows that high compressive strength of Mg–Zn/HA composite was achieved when the powders were prepared with high milling speed and ball-topowder weight ratio and low HA content. The mathematical model was adequate with error percentage lower than 3.4%. The microstructure of Mg–Zn/HA composite with different process parameters revealed that fine microstructure was observed at high milling speed and ball-to-powder weight ratio while agglomeration of HA was found in composite with 10 wt% HA. The agglomeration of HA led to degradation of interfacial bonding strength between matrix and reinforcement phases and hence decreased the overall compressive strength of Mg–Zn/HA composite. Biodegradation test revealed that sample with higher HA content had more weight gain and there was more formation of hydroxyapatite. 6Low-income and overweight in China:Evidence from a life-course utility model显示文摘Previous literature has demonstrated that low-income people are more likely to settle for poor health choices in developed countries. By using income as a budget constraint and signal for future wellbeing in a life-course utility model, we examine the association amongst income and overweight. The data used for this study are from the China Health and Nutrition Survey(CHNS). Estimations are conducted for overweight initiation, cessation, and participation mirroring a decision to begin and a past decision to not terminate. Our findings propose that body weight and the likelihood of overweight commencement rise with additional income but at a diminishing degree, representing a concave relation;while the likelihood of overweight discontinuance declines with additional income but at an accelerating degree, suggesting a convex relation.We presume that, as opposed to developed countries, low-income people are less inclined to be overweight in China, a country in transition. This could be explained by an income constraint for unhealthy foodstuff. Nevertheless, it will switch when income surpasses the critical threshold of the concave or inverted U-shape curve indicating that low-income people appear to receive not as much utility from future health.
