| 1 | Micro air vehicle-motivated computational biomechanics in bio-flights:aerodynamics,flight dynamics and maneuvering stability显示文摘Aiming at developing an effective tool to unveil key mechanisms in bio-flight as well as to provide guidelines for bio-inspired micro air vehicles(MAVs) design,we propose a comprehensive computational framework,which integrates aerodynamics,flight dynamics,vehicle stability and maneuverability.This framework consists of(1) a Navier-Stokes unsteady aerodynamic model;(2) a linear finite element model for structural dynamics;(3) a fluidstructure interaction(FSI) model for coupled flexible wing aerodynamics aeroelasticity;(4) a free-flying rigid body dynamic(RBD) model utilizing the Newtonian-Euler equations of 6DoF motion;and(5) flight simulator accounting for realistic wing-body morphology,flapping-wing and body kinematics,and a coupling model accounting for the nonlinear 6DoF flight dynamics and stability of insect flapping flight.Results are presented based on hovering aerodynamics with rigid and flexible wings of hawkmoth and fruitfly.The present approach can support systematic analyses of bio- and bio-inspired flight. | Hao Liu Toshiyuki Nakata Na Gao Masateru Maeda Hikaru Aono Wei Shyy | 2010 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2010，26，6： | 8 |
| 2 | Utility of single-incision totally extraperitoneal inguinal hernia repair with intraperitoneal inspection显示文摘AIM To study the utility of single-incision totally extraperitoneal inguinal hernia repair with intraperitoneal inspection.METHODS A 2 cm transverse skin incision was made in the umbilicus, extending to the intraperitoneal cavity. Carbon dioxide was insufflated followed by insertion of laparoscope to observe the intraperitoneal cavity. The type of hernia was diagnosed and whether there was the presence of intestinal incarceration was confirmed. When an intestinal incarceration in the hernia sac was found, the forceps were inserted through the incision site and the intestine was returned to the intraperitoneal cavity without increasing the number of trocars. Once the peritoneum was closed, totally extraperitoneal inguinal hernia repair was performed, and finally, intraperitoneal observation was performed to reconfirm the repair.RESULTS Of the 75 hernias treated, 58 were on one side, 17 were on both sides, and 10 were recurrences. The respective median operation times for these 3 groups of patients were 100 min(range, 66 to 168), 136 min(range, 114 to 165), and 125 min(range, 108 to 156), with median bleeding amounts of 5 g(range, 1 to 26), 3 g(range, 1 to 52), and 5 g(range, 1 to 26), respectively. Intraperitoneal observation showed hernia on the opposite side in 2 cases, intestinal incarceration in 3 cases, omental adhesion into the hernia sac in 2 cases, severe postoperative intraperitoneal adhesions in 2 cases, and bladder protrusion in 1 case. There was only 1 case of recurrence.CONCLUSION Single-incision totally extraperitoneal inguinal hernia repair with intraperitoneal inspection makes hernia repairs safer and reducing postoperative complications. | 6 | Mulching type-induced soil moisture and temperature regimes and water use efficiency of soybean under rain-fed condition in central Japan显示文摘Soybean(Glycine max)is a high water-demand crop and grown under moderate temperature in Japan.To protect the crop from hot summer and to utilize rainfall for its cultivation,selection of appropriate mulching material(s)is crucial.For optimum production of the crop,soil moisture and temperature regimes as well as water use efficiency(WUE)of the crop were investigated under straw,grass,paper,plastic and bare soil(control)mulching under rain-fed condition at Gifu university farm in Japan.The mulching treatments,compared to the control,lowered soil temperature by 2°C at 5 cm depth and 0.5°C at 15 and 25 cm depths.The plastic and straw mulching stored the highest quantity of soil moisture at 5 and 15 cm depths;the bare soil stored the lowest quantity.At 25 cm depth,soil-moisture content was the highest under paper mulch but invariable under the other mulches.Plastic mulching reduced evaporation rate from the soil surface and,consequently,the reduced soil-water consumption(SWC)from the root zone augmented WUE of soybean.The paper mulching,by conserving soil-moisture and reducing soil temperature,provided better crop growth attributes,while the plastic mulching improved WUE of green soybean.Therefore,the plastic mulch performed best in reducing soil-water consumption and increasing WUE,while the paper mulch was good for soil-moisture conservation and temperature modification that increased soybean yield. | Mohammad Abdul Kader Masateru Senge Mohammad Abdul Mojid Kimihito Nakamura | 2017 | International Soil and Water Conservation Research2017，5，4： | 2 |
