| 7 | A unified viscoplasticity constitutive model based on irreversible thermodynamics显示文摘A unified viscoplasticity constitutive model for metal materials is developed within the framework of irreversible thermodynamics, and an expression for the Helmholtz free energy function involving the parameters reflecting kinematic hardening and isotropic hardening is given. At the same time a non-associated flow potential function including the corresponding state variables is also given, from which the flow equation and the evolution equations of the internal state variables are derived. Thus, a general theoretical framework constructing a unified viscoplasticity constitutive model is given. Compared with the typical unified viscoplasticity constitutive models, the presented model evidently satisfies the irreversible thermodynamics laws. | 10 | Effects and its possible mechanism of Radix Saposhnikoviae on rat colonic smooth muscle in vitro显示文摘Objective:To determine the effect of different concentrations of Radix Saposhnikoviae(RS) on the contraction of smooth muscle strips and the Ca2+ mobilization of cultured smooth muscle cells of rat colon and its possible mechanism of action.Methods:Strips of rat colon longitudinal muscle were prepared and smooth muscle cells from rat colon were isolated and cultured.In the experiments,in vitro muscle strips were suspended in an organ bath and the contraction of the strips was recorded.In the cell-experiments,intracellular Ca2+ was assessed using fluorescent intensity(FI) of smooth muscle cells loaded with Fluo-4/AM,measured with a laser scanning confocal microscope and related software.Results:In the in vitro experiment,RS(0.02,0.2,2,20 g/L) inhibited contraction of muscle strips in a concentration-dependent manner,and this inhibition was significant for the three higher RS concentrations(P < 0.01) for both Peak(the maximal contraction amplitude) and Area(the area under curves).Similarly,RS inhibited Ach-induced contraction.In these experiments the inhibition of the Peak values in the RS 2 and 20 g/L groups was significant(P < 0.01),as was the inhibition of the Area values in all RS groups(P < 0.05).Naloxone and propranolol did not significantly affect the inhibitory effect of RS on smooth muscle contractility,while phentolamine significantly reduced the inhibitory effect(P < 0.01).In experiments using primary smooth muscle cell cultures in Ca2+-containing buffer,the post-treatment fluorescence of cells in the RS 0.2,2 and 20 g/L groups differed significantly from pre-treatment values(P < 0.05),and the percent inhibition of fluorescence in the RS 2 g/L and 20 g/L groups was significant(P < 0.01).However,in Ca2+-free buffer,FS had no significant effect on cell fluorescence.Conclusion:RS inhibited both the spontaneous and Ach-stimulated contraction of rat colonic smooth muscle strips.This RS effect appeared to involve α-adrenoceptors,but not β-adrenoceptors or opioid receptors.In cultured primary smooth muscle cells,RS reduced the mobilization of Ca2+ from extracellular sources,but may had no effect on the release of Ca2+ from sarcoplasmic reticulum and endoplasmic reticulum. | Zhenqing Liu Tao Lü Ping Hu Muxin Wei | 2009 | Journal of Nanjing Medical University2009,23,5: | 0 |
| 11 | Investigation of Structure and Hydriding Properties of La0.6 Nd0.4 Ni4.s Mn0.2 Cux Alloys显示文摘The structure and hydriding performance of La0.6Nd0.4Ni4.8Mn0.2Cux (x = 0 ~ 0.4) alloys were investigated in order to develop suitable materials for metal hydride air conditioner. The effect of Cu addition on the crystal structure,equilibrium pressure, hydrogen capacity and hysteresis as well as hydrogen absorption/desorption kinetics were systematically studied by using the measurement of P-C isotherms, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. As the amount of Cu increases, the plateau pressure increases and hydrogen absorption/desorption kinetics is improved, but the effective hydrogen storage capacity decreases. It is shown that variations in the basal plane parameter a can be used as an indication for the plateau pressure changes. With the increase of parameter a, the plateau pressure decreases. For La0.6 Nd0.4Ni4.8Mn0.2Cux(x = 0 ~ 0.4) alloys there is a relationship between the effective hydrogen storage capacities and the ratios of their unit cell parameters c and a. | 12 | Aberrant expression of ether à go-go potassium channel in colorectal cancer patients and cell lines显示文摘AIM: To study the expression of ether à go-go (Eag1) potassium channel in colorectal cancer and the relation- ship between their expression and clinico-pathological features. METHODS: The expression levels of Eag1 protein were determined in 76 cancer tissues with paired non- cancerous matched tissues as well as 9 colorectal adenoma tissues by immunohistochemistry. Eag1 mRNA expression was detected in 13 colorectal cancer tissues with paired non-cancerous matched tissues and 4 colorectal adenoma tissues as well as two colorectal cancer cell lines (LoVo and HT-29) by reverse transcription PCR. RESULTS: The frequency of positive expression of Eag1 protein was 76.3% (58/76) and Eag1 mRNA was 76.9% (10/13) in colorectal cancer tissue. Expression level of Eag1 protein was dependent on the tumor size, lymphatic node metastasis, other organ metastases and Dukes’ stage (P < 0.05), while not dependent on age, sex, site and degree of differentiation. Eag1 protein and mRNA were negative in normal colorectal tissue, and absolutely negative in colorectal adenomas except that one case was positively stained for Eag1 protein. CONCLUSION: Eag1 protein and mRNA are aberrantly expressed in colorectal cancer and occasionally expressed in colorectal adenoma. | 14 | Geochemical processes and origin of boron isotopes in geothermal water in the Yunnan-Tibet geothermal zone显示文摘Boron concentrations and isotope compositions have been measured for 93 water samples from the hot springs and drill-holes in the geothermal system in the Yunnan-Tibet Geothermal Belt(YTGB),China.Boron concentrations range from 0.036–472.4ppm,and theδ11B values range from -16.0‰to 13.1‰,indicating the non-marine origin for each geothermal system.We observed a clear binary mixing relationship between the B concentrations and B isotope compositions in Tibet geothermal area.This relationship can be well explained by two sources,i.e.,marine carbonate rocks and magmatic rocks,for the Tibet geothermal water.No evidence supports a mantle contribution to B.In addition,we found that the precipitation only plays a dilution role for B of geothermal waters.δ11B values for the precipitation across the southern Tibetan Plateau area range from -6.0‰ to -6.8‰at least.Due to data scarcity in Yunnan geothermal area,we observed possible different boron sources from the Tibet geothermal system.Comparing it with other geothermal systems in the world,we found that the samples from YTGB have the lowestδ11B values and the largest range of B concentration,which might be related to their special geological background.On the whole,the world geothermalδ11B-Cl/B relation suggests a mixing process between marine and non-marine sources.Additionally,we suggest that B source of B-enriched geothermal waters is mainly from B-enriched crustal country-rocks,instead of mantle. | Lü YuanYuan ZHENG MianPing ZHAO Ping XU RongHua | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,12: | 6 |
| 15 | Spacelike Mobius Hypersurfaces in Four Dimensional Lorentzian Space Form显示文摘In this paper, we first set up an alternative fundamental theory of M?bius geometry for any umbilic-free spacelike hypersurfaces in four dimensional Lorentzian space form, and prove the hypersurfaces can be determined completely by a system consisting of a function W and a tangent frame {E_i}. Then we give a complete classification for spacelike M?bius homogeneous hypersurfaces in four dimensional Lorentzian space form. They are either M?bius equivalent to spacelike Dupin hypersurfaces or to some cylinders constructed from logarithmic curves and hyperbolic logarithmic spirals. | 16 | Effects of high-pressure rheo-squeeze casting on the Fe-rich phases and mechanical properties of Al-17Si-(1,1.5)Fe alloys显示文摘The effects of high pressure rheo-squeeze casting(HPRC) on the Fe-rich phases(FRPs) and mechanical properties of Al-17 Si-(1,1.5)Fe alloys were investigated. The alloy melts were first treated by ultrasonic vibration(UV) and then formed by high-pressure squeeze casting(HPSC). The FRPs in the as-cast HPSC Al-17 Si-1 Fe alloys only contained a long, needle-shaped β-Al5 Fe Si phase at 0 MPa. In addition to the β-Al5 Fe Si phase, the HPSC Al-17 Si-1.5 Fe alloy also contained the plate-shaped δ-Al4 Fe Si2 phase. A fine, block-shaped δ-Al4 Fe Si2 phase was formed in the Al-17 Si-1 Fe alloy treated by UV. The size of FRPs decreased with increasing pressure. After UV treatment, solidification under pressure led to further refinement of the FRPs. Considering alloy samples of the same composition, the ultimate tensile strength(UTS) of the HPRC samples was higher than that of the HPSC samples, and the UTS increased with increasing pressure. The UTS of the Al-17 Si-1 Fe alloy formed by HPSC exceeded that of the Al-17 Si-1.5 Fe alloy formed in the same manner under the same pressure. | 19 | Nano-SiC_P particles distribution and mechanical properties of Al-matrix composites prepared by stir casting and ultrasonic treatment显示文摘Nano-ceramic particles are generally difficult to add into molten metal because of poor wettability. Nano-SiC_Particles reinforced A356 aluminum alloy composites were prepared by a new complex process, i.e., a molten-metal process combined with high energy ball milling and ultrasonic vibration methods. The nano particles were β-SiC_P with an average diameter of 40 nm, and pre-oxidized at about 850 °C to form an oxide layer with a thickness of approximately 3 nm. The mm-sized composite granules containing nano-SiC_P were fi rstly produced by milling the mixture of oxidized nano-SiC_P and pure Al powders, and then were remelted in the matrix-metal melt with mechanical stirring and treated by ultrasonic vibration to prepare the composite. SEM analysis results show that the nano-SiC_P articles are distributed uniformly in the matrix and no serious agglomeration is observed.
