1Characterization and Growth Morphology of the Ultrafine Manganese Particles显示文摘In present work.the ultrafine manganese particles were prepared by gas evaporation method.Thestructure,size distribution,growth morphology and surface oxidation for the particles were investi-gated by using X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy.The results indicated that three types ofthe particles,with the structure of α-Mn,β-Mn and one unknown,respectively existed in the man-ganese particles.The growth morphology of the particles depended on the size and intrinsicstructure.When exposed to air,the particles were slightly oxidized only in the surface layer and sta-ble in air.Jian XU Xiukui SUN Wenxiu CHEN Wenduo WEI State Key Laboratory of RSA,Institute of Metal Research,Academia Sinica,Shenyang 110015,China 1993Journal of Materials Science & Technology1993,9,3:0
2Synthesis of Aluminum Nitride Nanocrystalline显示文摘Nanocrystalline aluminum nitride (whisker and particle) has been synthesized by heating the mixed aluminum+aluminum nitride ultrafine powders (UFPs) produced by nitrogen plasmamolten aluminum reaction, under N2 atmosphere at lower temperature. 4Hydrogen Permeation and Diffusion in Low-carbon Steels and 16Mn Steel显示文摘In the present work. the hydrogen permeation and diffusion in two low-carbon steels. # 10 and #20. and 16Mn stee1 over the temperature range of 80 to 330℃ were investigated using gaseous permeation technique. The temperature dependence of hydrogen permeability. diffusivity and solubility for the three steels was obtained in the form of the Arrhenius equations. It was shown that the hydrogen permeability of the 16Mn steel is somewhat lower than that of the two low-carbon steels.whereas the hydrogen diffusivity is lowered in the order of #10, #20 and 16Mn but the activation energy of diffusion is much the same for the three steels. 6X-ray Diffraction Line Profile Broadening of Fe_(50)Pd_(50) Alloy Ultrafine Particles显示文摘The composition distribution in Fe50Pd50 alloy ultrafine particles prepared by inert gas condensation method was investigated in details by means of X-ray diffraction technique through deconvolution of the X-ray diffraction data. The microscopic composition distribution in the alloy UFP was identified, which is caused by nonuniformity of the melt, fractional distillation during the evaporation process and statistical fluctuation during nucleation and coalescence of the alloy particles. 7Diffusion of Hydrogen along the Grain Boundaries in Ni_3Al Alloys显示文摘The diffusivity of hydrogen in two Ni3Al alloys (No.1 and No.2) has been measured in the temperature range of 100’C to 420’C using an ultrahigh vacuum gaseous permeation technique. The diffusivity data fall into two segments, in which the hydrogen diffusivity adheres to the Arrhenius form, respectively. From the hydrogen diffusivity, it is conjectured that the hydrogen diffusivity reflects the hydrogen transportation along the grain boundaries at lower temperature and the hydrogen transportation in the lattice at higher temperature.
