| 5 | Two-in-one solution using insect wings to produce graphene-graphite films for efficient electrocatalysis显示文摘Natural organisms contain rich elements and naturally optimized smart structures,both of which have inspired various innovative concepts and desig ns in human society.In particular,several natural organisms have been used as element sources to synthesize low-cost and environmentally friendly electrocatalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)in fuel cells and metal-air batteries,which are clean energy devices.However,to date,no naturally optimized smart structures have been employed in the synthesis of ORR catalysts,including graphene-based materials.Here,we demonstrate a novel strategy to synthesize graphene-graphite films(GGFs)by heating butterfly wings coated with FeCI3 in N2,in which the full power of natural organisms is utilized.The wings work not only as an element source for GGF generation but also as a porous supporting structure for effective nitrogen doping,two-dimensional spreading,and double-face exposure of the GGFs.These GGFs exhibit a half-wave potential of 0.942 V and a H2O2 yield of<0.07%for ORR electrocatalysis;these values are comparable to those for the best commercial Pt/C and all previously reported ORR catalysts in alkaline media.This two-in-one strategy is also successful with cicada and dragonfly wings,indicating that it is a universal,green,and cost-effective method for developing high-performance graphene-based materials. | Huaiyu Li Lihan Zhang Long Li Chaowen Wu Yajiao Huo Ying Chen Xijun Liu Xiaoxing Ke Jun Luo Gustaaf Van Tendeloo | 2019 | Nano Research2019，12，1： | 3 |

| 7 | Exercise interventions for older adults: A systematic review of meta-analyses显示文摘Background:The evidence concerning which physical exercise characteristics are most effective for older adults is fragmented.We aimed to characterize the extent of this diversity and inconsistency and identify future directions for research by undertaking a systematic review of metaanalyses of exercise interventions in older adults.Methods:We searched the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews,PsycInfo,MEDLINE,Embase,CINAHL,AMED,SPORTDiscus,and Web of Science for articles that met the following criteria:(1)meta-analyses that synthesized measures of improvement(e.g.,effect sizes)on any outcome identified in studies of exercise interventions;(2)participants in the studies meta-analyzed were adults aged 65+or had a mean age of 70+;(3)meta-analyses that included studies of any type of exercise,including its duration,frequency,intensity,and mode of delivery;(4)interventions that included multiple components(e.g.,exercise and cognitive stimulation),with effect sizes that were computed separately for the exercise component;and(5)meta-analyses that were published in any year or language.The characteristics of the reviews,of the interventions,and of the parameters improved through exercise were reported through narrative synthesis.Identification of the interventions linked to the largest improvements was carried out by identifying the highest values for improvement recorded across the reviews.The study included 56 meta-analyses that were heterogeneous in relation to population,sample size,settings,outcomes,and intervention characteristics.Results:The largest effect sizes for improvement were found for resistance training,meditative movement interventions,and exercise-based active videogames.Conclusion:The review identified important gaps in research,including a lack of studies investigating the benefits of group interventions,the characteristics of professionals delivering the interventions associated with better outcomes,and the impact of motivational strategies and of significant others(e.g.,carers)on intervention delivery and outcomes. | Claudio Di Lorito Annabelle Long Adrian Byrne Rowan H.Harwood John R.F.Gladman Stefan Schneider Pip Logan Alessandro Bosco Veronika van der Wardt | 2021 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2021，10，1： | 3 |

| 17 | Anti-inflammatory effects of alkaloid enriched extract from roots of Eurycoma longifolia Jack显示文摘Objective: To examine the in vitro and in vivo anti-inflammatory effects of the alkaloid enriched extract(ELA) from the roots of Eurycoma longifolia. Methods: The in vitro antiinflammatory effects of ELA were evaluated by examining its inhibitory activities against nitric oxide(NO) production and inducible nitric oxide synthase(iN OS) and cyclooxygenase2(COX-2) expressions in lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. The level of NO produced in the culture media was determined by Griess method. The i NOS and COX-2 protein expressions were analyzed by Western blot. The in vivo effect of ELA was evaluated on LPS-induced septic shock in mice model. Mice mortality was monitored for5 days after injection of LPS. The chemical contents of the ELA were determined by using various chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques. Results: The ELA was found to exhibit a significant anti-inflammatory effect in both in vitro and in vivo models. The results demonstrated that ELA dose-dependently inhibited LPS-induced NO production as well as the protein iN OS and COX-2 expressions. In the septic shock model, ELA dose-dependently protected mice from LPS-induced mortality. Further study on the isolated components of ELA indicated that 9,10-dimethoxycanthin-6-one may contribute significantly to the antiinflammatory effects of the extract.
