1Mathematical Models for Combined Refraction-Diffraction of Waves on Non-Uniform Current and Depth显示文摘Two mathematical models for combined refraction-diffraction of regular and irregular waves on non-uniform current in water of slowly varying topography are presented in this paper. Model I is derived by wave theory and variational principle separately. It has two kinds of expressions including the dissipation term. Model n is based on the energy conservation equation with energy flux through the wave crest lines in orthogonal curvilinear coordinates and the wave kinematic conservation equation. 2Input-occupancy-output models of the non-competitive type and their application - an examination of the China-US trade surplus显示文摘本文构建了一种能够反映中国加工贸易特点的非竞争(进口)型投入占用产出模型,提出了一个国家全部出口与分部门、分大类商品的单位出口对国内增加值和就业的拉动效应的计算方法,从数学上证明了出口总值等于出口商品所包含的完全国内增加值与完全进口额之和,并据此编制了2002年中美两国的非竞争(进口)型投入占用产出表,测算和分析了中美两国出口对各自国内增加值和就业的影响。Lawrence J. 3Does the Domestic Value Added Induced by China's Exports Really Belong to China?显示文摘Since 2001,the exports of foreign-invested enterprises(FIEs) have accounted for more than 50 percent of China’s total exports.As foreign capital occupies a high proportion of the total capital of FIEs,most FIEs’ capital gains are foreign factor income.Although these gains are calculated as a part of China’s GDP,they do not belong to China’s national income.To determine the real contribution of exports to China’s welfare,the present paper analyses the impact of exports on China’s national income using a non-competitive input-output model capturing processing trade.The results show that every US$1000 of China ’s exports generates US$506.8 of national income.The real contribution of exports to China’s welfare is much smaller than what we expected.This suggests that China should endeavor to improve the gains from international markets or find another engine to maintain its economic growth.Yuwan Duan Cuihong Yang Kunfu Zhu Xikang Chen 2012China & World Economy2012,20,5:8

5Zircon Dating and Geological Implications of Granitic Gneiss in the Metamorphic Zone of Gaoligong Mountains in Western Yunnan, China显示文摘The general classification of intermediate-acid intrusive rocks in the metamorphic zone of Gaoligong Mountains as one of the metamorphic terranes of Proterozoic Gaoligong Mountains is problematic regarding the intrusion stage and age, as well as the subsequent metamorphism and deformation. In this study, we investigated granitic gneiss in the metamorphic zone of Gaoligong Mountains based on the 1:50,000 regional geological survey of Qushi Street (2011-2013) and SHRIMP U-Pb zircon geochronology. Results showed that the SHRIMP U-Pb zircon dating of granitic gneiss ranged from 163.5±5.7 Ma to 74.0±2.0 Ma. Thus, the granitic gneiss was grouped into orthometamorphic rocks (metamorphic intrusions). The dating data of granite rocks associated with intense metamorphism and deformation were divided into three groups, 163.5±5.7 to 162.3±3.1 Ma, 132.2-101.0 Ma and 99.4±3.5-74.0±2.0 Ma, which respectively represented three independent geologic events including an important magma intrusion with superimposed metamorphic effects in the late Middle Jurassic, regional dynamic metamorphism and superimposed reformation of fluid action in the early Cretaceous, and dynamic metamorphism dominated by ductile shear and metamorphism starting from the late Cretaceous.TAN Xiaohong ZHAO Bo LI Xikang XU Zhangbao ZHANG Zhen 2013Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,2:2
6A Factor Decomposing Model of Water Use Efficiency at Sector Level and Its Application in Beijing显示文摘The paper explores the contribution of different factors affecting water use efficiency(WUE) of each sector and explores ways to improve WUE.A new Multi-Sector and Multi-Factors Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index(MLMDI) decomposition method was developed that enabled the identification of WUE by sector into 11 factors in terms of their order of importance.An application to Beijing at the 19 sector level was made for the period between 2002–2007.The water conservation effects of six measures proposed during the 12th-Five-Year-Plan of Beijing were assessed.It was found that,to decrease the transferred out and export of agriculture products and increasing water prices would be the top two most effective measures to promote water conservation.While the adjustment of direct water use structure would contribute in less significant way,the adjustment of industrial structure would have a negative effect.LIU Xiuli HEWINGS J D Geoffrey CHEN Xikang WANG Shouyang 2016Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2016,29,2:2
7A MULTIYEAR LAGS INPUT-HOLDING-OUTPUT MODEL ON EDUCATION WITH EXCLUDING IDLE CAPITAL显示文摘This paper develops a multi-year lag Input-Holding-Output (I-H-O) Model on educationwith exclusion of the idle capital to address the reasonable education structure in support of a sus-tainable development strategy in China.First,the model considers the multiyear lag of human capitalbecause the lag time of human capital is even longer and more important than that of fixed capital.Second,it considers the idle capital resulting from the output decline in education,for example,stu-dent decrease in primary school.The new generalized Leonitief dynamic inverse is deduced to obtain apositive solution on education when output declines as well as expands.After compiling the 2000 I-H-Otable on education,the authors adopt modifications-by-step method to treat nonlinear coefficients,andcalculate education scale,the requirement of human capital,and education expenditure from 2005 to2020.It is found that structural imbalance of human capital is a serious problem for Chinese economicdevelopment.Xue FU Xikang CHEN 2009Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2009,22,2:1

9A sustainable integration of removing CO_(2)/NO_(x) and producing biomass with high content of lipid/protein by microalgae显示文摘Due to the boost of CO_(2)/NO_(x)emissions which cause environmental pollution,processes that remove such pollutants from flue gas have attracted increasing attention in recent years.Among these technologies,biological CO_(2)/NO_(x)emission reduction has received more interest.Microalgae,a kind of photosynthetic microorganism,offer great promise to convert CO_(2)/NO_(x)to biomass with high content of lipid and protein,which can be used as feedstock for various products such as biodiesel,health products,feedstuff and biomaterials.In this paper,biological CO_(2)/NO_(x)removing technologies by microalgae,together with the products(such as biofuel and protein)and their economic viability are discussed.Although commercial applications of microalgae for biodiesel and protein products are hampered by the high production cost of biomass,the use of CO_(2)/NO_(x)from flue gas as carbon and nitrogen sources can reduce the cost of biomass production,which makes these technologies more competent for real-life applications.Moreover,it is projected that the increasing in CO_(2)allowances will lead to further reduction in the cost of biomass production,which especially favors related products with lower values such as biodiesel.Furthermore,by combining various process optimization and integration,biorefinery is proposed and considered as the crucial component for the sustainable and economically feasible bulk applications of microalgae biomass.Junying Zhu Baowen Guo Fengxiang Qie Xu Li Xikang Zhao Junfeng Rong Baoning Zong 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10:1
