| 3 | Analysis of variation trends and causes of aerosol optical depth in Shaanxi Province using MODIS data显示文摘The temporal and spatial variations and causes of aerosol optical depth(AOD)in Shaanxi Province were investigated based on the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)derived aerosol data for the period of March 2000–February 2012.The results showed that the distribution of aerosol was largely affected by topography and local economic activities.Heavy aerosol loading and increasing tendency in AOD was observed in Guanzhong,Hanzhong and Ankang basin,while a reverse tendency was revealed in most other regions.The spatial distribution of aerosol Angstrom wavelength exponent was predominantly related to vegetation coverage in Shaanxi.Airborne dust from ground is an important source of coarse mode aerosols.Vegetation improvement indicated by an increase in normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)and a reduction in dust weather led to a gradual decrease in coarse mode AOD to the north of Qinling Mountains in Shaanxi,while anthropogenic activities led to an increase in fine mode AOD in other areas except those covered by forests.The main aerosol type gradually shifted to the urban industrial type in Shaanxi. | DONG ZiPeng YU Xing LI XingMin DAI Jin | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,35: | 8 |

| 7 | Wenyang Huazhuo Fang exerts transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily C member-dependent nephroprotection in a rat model of doxorubicin-induced nephropathy显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To determine the effect of Wenyang Huazhuo Fang(WHF),a Traditional Chinese Medicine decoction,on renal function in a rat model of doxorubicin-induced nephropathy,and to elucidate the underlying mechanism.METHODS:Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into six groups:control,doxorubicin-nephropathy,and prednisone-treated(6.45 mg·kg^-1·d^-1)doxorubicin nephropathy groups,as well as high-(7.26 g·kg^-1·d^-1),medium-(2.42 g·kg-1·d-),and low-dose(0.81 g·kg^-1·d^-1)WHF-treated doxorubicin-nephropathy groups.The nephropathy rat model was established by two tail vein injections of doxorubicin,followed by prednisone or WHF treatment for 8 weeks.Body weights were monitored and urinary protein was measured every 2 weeks.After the end of the treatment period,the rats were euthanized.Serum biochemical indicators were determined and renal morphological alterations were assessed using histological staining.The expression of transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily C member 6(TRPC6),stromal interaction molecule 1(STIM1),and calcium release-activated calcium channel protein 1(Orai1)was detected using western blotting,and their mRNA levels were examined using quantitative real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS:WHF treatment was found to significantly ameliorate weight loss,proteinuria,hypoalbuminemia,and dyslipidemia in doxorubicin-nephropathy rats.The protein and mRNA levels of TRPC6,STIM1,and Orai1 were partially,but significantly suppressed by prednisone or WHF treatment.CONCLUSION:Treatment with WHF significantly ameliorates renal injury in a rat model of doxorubicin-induced nephropathy,which could be at least partially related to repression of the TRPC6 pathway. | An Peng Dong Sheng Li Xingyao Cai Zimo Ye Bingyu Zhang Aijun Shi Xingmin Wu Xili | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,4: | 3 |
| 8 | Ultra-light, high flexible and efficient CNTs/Ti3C2-sodium alginate foam for electromagnetic absorption application显示文摘Ultra-light carboxylic functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes(CNTs-COOH) and Ti3C2 MXene hybrids modified sodium alginate(CNTs/Ti3C2-SA) based composite foams were prepared through ice-templated freeze-drying method. The microstructure of the synthesized CNTs/Ti3C2 hybrids and CNTs/Ti3C2-SA foams is characterized by the presence of CNTs inserted between MXene layers which prevents their restacking. The resultant CNTs/Ti3C2 hybrids exhibit a unique sandwich-like hierarchical structure. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) images show that the CNTs/Ti3C2-SA foam exhibits a heterogeneous anisotropic microstructure and CNTs/Ti3C2 hybrids are homogeneously dispersed in the skeleton of the porous foam. In case that the content of the hybrids amounts 40 mg/cm^3, the CNTs/Ti3C2-SA foam possesses excellent electromagnetic(EM) absorption performance with a minimum reflection coefficient(RCmin) as low as-40.0 dB. In case of a sample thickness of 3.95 mm, the RCminreaches-24.4 dB and the effective absorption bandwidth covers the whole X band from 8.2 to 12.4 GHz. | 10 | Improving Both Electron and Hole Mobilities of an Ambipolar Polymer by Integrating Sodium Sulfonate-Tethered Alkyl Side Chains显示文摘of main observation and conclusion High performance ambipolar organic semiconductors are highly desirable for organic logic circuits.Herein,we demonstrate the integration of sodium sulfonate(SS)-tethered sidechains into a diketopyrrolopyrrole-based ambipolar polymer(PDPP3T)can simultaneously improve its hole and electron transport performances either parallel or perpendicular to polymer film.Three SS-functionalized polymers(PDPP3T-XSS,x=0.025,0.05 and 0.10)were synthesized and studied.It was found that SS functionalization can reinforce interchain n-Ti interactions,slightly lower frontier orbital energy levels,produce more rod-like structures in film,and change chain-packing from edge-on to face-on fashion,but has little influence on thermal properties.More interestingly,organic field-effect transistors reported hole mobility of 0.27±0.066 cm^2.V^-1·s^-1 and electron mobility of 0.038±0.016 cm^2.V^-1·s^-1 for PDPP3T,while increased 2.4 and 5 folds to 0.64±0.087 and 0.19±0.051 cm^2.V^-1·s^-1 for PDPP3T-0.025SS,respectively.Moreover,PDPP3T-xSS devices displayed reduced threshold voltages for both hole and electron transports.Meanwhile,space charge-limited current method found SS functionalization achieved an order of magnitude increase in electron mobility and slight enhancement in hole mobility transporting perpendicular to polymer film.In-depth investigations suggest such enhancements may originate from the joint actions of chain-stacking modulation and ionic doping effect. | Li-Na Liu Yun-Peng Li Maria Khalil Zi-Wen Xu Guanghui Xie Xingmin Zhang Jingjing Li Wei-Shi Li | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2020,38,12: | 1 |

| 20 | Gully erosion and expansion mechanisms in loess tablelands and the scientific basis of gully consolidation and tableland protection显示文摘Gully erosion is serious in the tableland area of the Loess Plateau due to high-intensity human activities and extreme rainfall, which cause serious soil loss and an increasing tableland shrinkage rate. Severe gully erosion has exerted a notable negative impact on local agriculture, human life and socioeconomic development. In recent decades, progress has been made in soil and water conservation with the goal of reducing soil erosion and protecting loess tableland, but basic research on gully consolidation and tableland protection(GCTP) is lacking, especially regarding the mechanisms of gully erosion and expansion in loess tableland under the interactive impacts of hydrodynamics and human activities. In addition, there is a lack of a deep understanding of the underlying mechanisms of soil-water disasters and controlling factors of unreasonable GCTP projects.Currently, the problems of headcut erosion and tableland fragmentation remain serious. Based on this situation, the Dongzhi tableland, the largest tableland on the Loess Plateau, was adopted as an example, and we studied gully erosion and expansion mechanisms in the loess tableland and the scientific basis of GCTP projects. We obtained a series of novel findings, including the following:(1) vertical joints are widely developed in loess and impose a controlling effect on tableland edge erosion;(2) rapid urbanization and road network expansion intensify headcut erosion and are the main reasons for severe erosion and tableland shrinkage in the Dongzhi tableland;and(3) unreasonable drainage of surface runoff and a rise in the groundwater level are the key factors affecting GCTP project stability. Moreover, the mechanisms and modes of erosion disasters in the project driven by these two factors were explained. The systematic remediation idea of retention, storage, drainage and consolidation for the GCTP project was introduced, and the core is water control, which emphasizes the combination of soil and water conservation and geohazard prevention measures.
