| 1 | Immunohistochemical assessment of angiogenesis in hepatocellular carcinoma and surrounding cirrhotic liver tissues显示文摘AIM: To investigate whether vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) was over-expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) or in surrounding cirrhotic liver tissues.METHODS: Immunohistochemistry was performed to investigate the expression of VEGF proteins in HCC tissues from 105 consecutive patients undergoing curative resection for HCC. The immunostaining results and related clinicopathologic materials were analyzed with statistical methods. Kaplan-Meier method was used to calculate survival curves, and Log-rank test was performed to compare differences in survival rates of the patients with positive HCC staining and negative VEGF.RESULTS: VEGF-positive expression was found in 72 of105 HCC patients (68.6%). Capsular infiltration (P= 0.005),vascular invasion (P = 0.035) and intrahepatic metastasis(P=0.008) were observed more frequently in patients with VEGF-positive expression than in those with VEGFnegative expression. Kaplan-Meier curves showed that VEGF-positive expression was associated with a shorter overall survival (P = 0.014). VEGF-positive expression was found in 47 of tissues 68 HCC (69.1%), and VEGF-positive expression was found in 54 of 68 surrounding cirrhotic liver tissues (79.4%). | 3 | Initial corrosion behavior and mechanism of 7B04 aluminum alloy under acid immersion and salt spray environments显示文摘The initial corrosion behavior and mechanism of 7B04 aluminum alloy under acid immersion and salt spray environments(pH=3.5)are studied by Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM),optical microscope,Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-Ray Diffraction(XRD),potentiodynamic polarization,Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy(EIS),and Scanning Kelvin Probe(SKP).The results show that pitting corrosion occurs at the initial corrosion stage,and the potential difference between the second phase particles is the main cause of pitting.Pitting pits on different locations gradually expand and coalesce with the proceeding of corrosion.The main components of corrosion products are Al_(2)O_(3),Al(OH)_(3),and AlCl_(3),and the generation rate of the corrosion product layer under the salt spray environment is larger than that under acid immersion environment.Under both environments,the Volta potential distribution first disperses and then concentrates,while the charge transfer resistance first decreases and then increases with the corrosion time.The Volta potential gradually shifts in a positive direction,indicating that corrosion products have an inhibitory effect on corrosion.After the same corrosion time,the corrosion product layer resistance and the expectation of the Volta potential of the salt spray sample are higher than those of the immersion sample.Comparatively,the corrosion current density for the salt spray sample is significantly lower than the immersion sample,which indicates that the thicker the corrosion product layer,the stronger the inhibition of corrosion reaction. | Yangguang ZHANG Yueliang CHEN Yong ZHANG Guixue BIAN Chenguang WANG Andong WANG | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,1: | 8 |
| 4 | Availability modeling for periodically inspection system with different lifetime and repair-time distribution显示文摘Availability is a main feature of design and operation of all engineering system. Recently,availability evaluation of periodical inspection systems with different structures is at the center of attention due to the wide application in engineering. In this paper, an analytical and probabilistic availability model for periodical inspection system is proposed by a new recursively algorithm,which can achieve limiting average availability and instantaneous availability of periodical inspection system under arbitrary lifetime and repair-time distributions. Then three application examples are presented, the systems lifetime and repair-time are respectively fellow exponential/exponential,Weibull/normal and Weibull/lognormal distribution. Finally, a Weibull/lognormal system is studied to analyze the dynamic relationship between inspection period and availability. | 5 | A Storage-Driven CO_(2) EOR for a Net-Zero Emission Target显示文摘Stabilizing global climate change to within 1.5℃requires a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions,with a primary focus on carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions.CO_(2)flooding in oilfields has recently been recognized as an important way to reduce CO_(2)emissions by storing CO_(2)in oil reservoirs.This work proposes an advanced CO_(2)enhanced oil recovery(EOR)method-namely,storage-driven CO_(2)EOR-whose main target is to realize net-zero or even negative CO_(2)emissions by sequestrating the maximum possible amount of CO_(2)in oil reservoirs while accomplishing the maximum possible oil recovery.Here,dimethyl ether(DME)is employed as an efficient agent in assisting conventional CO_(2)EOR for oil recovery while enhancing CO_(2)sequestration in reservoirs.The results show that DME improves the solubility of CO_(2)in in situ oil,which is beneficial for the solubility trapping of CO_(2)storage;furthermore,the presence of DME inhibits the'escape'of lighter hydrocarbons from crude oil due to the CO_(2)extraction effect,which is critical for sustainable oil recovery.Sto rage-driven CO_(2)EOR is superior to conventional CO_(2)EOR in improving sweeping efficiency,especially during the late oil production period.This work demonstrates that storage-driven CO_(2)EOR exhibits higher oil-in-place(OIP)recovery than conventional CO_(2)EOR.Moreover,the amount of sequestrated CO_(2)in storage-driven CO_(2)EOR exceeds the amount of emissions from burning the produced oil;that is,the sequestrated CO_(2)offsets not only current emissions but also past CO_(2)emissions.By altering developing scenarios,such as water alternating storage-driven CO_(2)EOR,more CO_(2)sequestration and higher oil recovery can be achieved.This work demonstrates the potential utilization of DME as an efficient additive to CO_(2)for enhancing oil recovery while improving CO_(2)storage in oil reservoirs. | Yueliang Liu Zhenhua Rui | 2022 | Engineering2022,,11: | 6 |

The rise time was about 23 ns and the full width at half maximum was about 125 ns for the open-circuit photovoltaic pulse when the La0.9Sr0.1MnO3 thin film in the p-n junction was irradiated by a laser of ~20 ns pulse duration and 308 nm wavelength. | 7 | Effect of ambient oxygen pressure on structural, optical and electrical properties of SnO_2 thin films显示文摘Polycrystalline SnO2 thin films were deposited on sapphire substrates at 450°C under different ambient oxygen pressures by pulsed laser deposition technique. The effect of ambient oxygen pressure on the structural, optical and electri- cal properties of SnO2 thin films was studied. X-ray diffraction and Hall measurements show that increasing the ambient oxygen pressure can improve crystallization of the films and decrease resistivity of the films. | 12 | A four-gene signature-derived risk score for glioblastoma:prospects for prognostic and response predictive analyses显示文摘Objective: Glioblastoma(GBM) is the most common primary malignant brain tumor regulated by numerous genes, with poor survival outcomes and unsatisfactory response to therapy.Therefore, a robust, multi-gene signature-derived model is required to predict the prognosis and treatment response in GBM.Methods: Gene expression data of GBM from TCGA and GEO datasets were used to identify differentially expressed genes(DEGs)through DESeq2 or LIMMA methods.The DEGs were then overlapped and used for survival analysis by univariate and multivariate COX regression.Based on the gene signature of multiple survival-associated DEGs, a risk score model was established,and its prognostic and predictive role was estimated through Kaplan–Meier analysis and log-rank test.Gene set enrichment analysis(GSEA) was conducted to explore high-risk score-associated pathways.Western blot was used for protein detection.Results: Four survival-associated DEGs of GBM were identified: OSMR, HOXC10, SCARA3, and SLC39A10.The four-gene signature-derived risk score was higher in GBM than in normal brain tissues.GBM patients with a high-risk score had poor survival outcomes.The high-risk group treated with temozolomide chemotherapy or radiotherapy survived for a shorter duration than the low-risk group.GSEA showed that the high-risk score was enriched with pathways such as vasculature development and cell adhesion.Western blot confirmed that the proteins of these four genes were differentially expressed in GBM cells.Conclusions: The four-gene signature-derived risk score functions well in predicting the prognosis and treatment response in GBM and will be useful for guiding therapeutic strategies for GBM patients. | Mianfu Cao Juan Cai Ye Yuan Yu Shi Hong Wu Qing Liu Yueliang Yao Lu Chen Weiqi Dang XiangZhang Jingfang Xiao Kaidi Yang Zhicheng He Xiaohong Yao Yonghong Cui Xia Zhang Xiuwu Bian | 2019 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2019,16,3: | 2 |

In this paper, we provide an overall review of IoT dataflow management. We first analyze the key challenges faced with IoT dataflow and initially overview the related techniques in dataflow management, spanning dataflow sensing, mining, control, security, privacy protection,etc. Then, we illustrate and compare representative tools or platforms for IoT dataflow management. In addition,promising application scenarios, such as smart cities, smart transportation, and smart manufacturing, are elaborated,which will provide significant guidance for further research. | 15 | Colossal magnetoresistive p-n junctions of perovskite oxide La_(0.9)Sr_(0.1)MnO_3/SrNb_(0.01)Ti_(0.99)O_3显示文摘We have successfully fabricated the colossal magnetoresistive (CMR) p-n junctions of perovskite oxide La0.9Sr0.1MnO3/SrNb0.01Ti0.99O3 (LSMO/SNTO) with laser molecular beam epitaxy. The I-V characteristics of the LSMO/SNTO p-n junctions as a function of applied magnetic field (05 T) were studied between 100 and 300 K. We found that the p-n junction exhibited the CMR behavior. The CMR ratio rR/R0 (rR = RH - R0) is positive in magnetic fields below 0.13 T and at high temperature, while it displays a negative CMR near 100 K and in magnetic fields over 0.13 T. The CMR ratio values are 8% at 0.1 T and 13% at 5 T and 300 K, 40% at 0.1 T and 150 K, 10% at 0.13 T and 60% at 5 T and 100 K.
