| 1 | High energy soliton pulse generation by a magnetron-sputtering-deposition-grown MoTe_2 saturable absorber显示文摘The pulse energy in the ultrafast soliton fiber laser oscillators is usually limited by the well-known wave-breaking phenomenon owing to the absence of a desirable real saturable absorber(SA) with high power tolerance and large modulation depth. Here, we report a type of microfiber-based MoTe_2 SA fabricated by the magnetron-sputtering deposition(MSD) method. High-energy wave-breaking free soliton pulses were generated with pulse duration/pulse energy/average output power of 229 fs/2.14 nJ/57 mW in the 1.5 μm regime and 1.3 ps/13.8 nJ/212 mW in the 2 μm regime, respectively. To our knowledge, the generated soliton pulses at 1.5 μm had the shortest pulse duration and the highest output power among the reported erbium-doped fiber lasers mode locked by transition metal dichalcogenides. Moreover, this was the first demonstration of a MoTe_2-based SA in fiber lasers in the 2 μm regime, and the pulse energy/output power are the highest in the reported thulium-doped fiber lasers mode locked by two-dimensional materials. | 2 | Laboratory-based Surveillance and Clinical Profile of Sporadic HEV Infection in Shanghai,China显示文摘The study aimed to describe the epidemiological,virological and clinical features of sporadic HEV infection in eastern China.A total of 6112 patient sera were tested for anti-HEV IgG or anti-HEV IgM during one consecutive year(between August 2018 and July 2019).HEV RNA presence was evaluated by RT-PCR and HEV sequences were phylogenetically analyzed.Clinical features of confirmed HEV-infected patients were delineated.The sero-positivity rate of anti-HEV IgG maintained stable around 40%,while an obvious winter spike of anti-HEV IgM prevalence was observed.A total of 111 patients were confirmed of HEV viremia by molecular diagnosis.Subtype 4d was predominant.Phylogenetic analyses suggest that certain strains circulate across species and around the country.Subjects with confirmed current HEV infection had a high median age(58 years)and males were predominant(62.2%).Most patients presented with jaundice(75.7%)and anorexia(68.0%).Significantly elevated levels of liver enzymes and bilirubin were observed.Remarkably,the baseline bilirubin level was positively correlated with illness severity.Pre-existing HBV carriage may deteriorate illness.The clinical burden caused by locally acquired HEV infection is increasing.Surveillance should be enforced especially during the transition period from winter to spring.Patients with higher level of bilirubin at disease onset had slower recovery from HEV infection. | Jie Lu Qing Li Jiayuan Jiang Ziqiang Li Peiyun Wang Zike Sheng Rongtao Lai Huijuan Zhou Wei Cai Hui Wang Qing Guo Honglian Gui Qing Xie | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021，36，4： | 4 |
| 3 | Experimental study of the gap between track slab and cement asphalt mortar layer in CRTS I slab track显示文摘Gap exists in the interface of cement asphalt emulsion mortar and CRTS I track slab universally, which is more severe at four corners than other parts of the track slab.In this work, the temperature and elevation of CRTS I slab track with and without rail were measured continuously to study the influence mechanism of rail on the gap. The results show that the alternating temperature gradient of track slab is the main reason that causes the gap, and laying rail can efficiently decrease the gap size in the slab track without rail. Compared with the slab track without rail, the maximum elevation occurred at the corner, the maximum gap width and the maximum gap depth of the slab track with rail laid were decreased by 0.45 mm(25.7%), 0.75 mm(46.6%)and 9.5 mm(59.4%), respectively; meanwhile, the disqualification ratio at corners was reduced to 5.9%, which is 50%less than that of the track without rail. | 5 | An improved ileal conduit surgery for bladder cancer with fewer complications显示文摘Background:Radical cystectomy and urinary diversion remains the standard surgical treatment for patients with muscle-invasive or high-risk or recurrent non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer.Although this approach prolongs patient survival remarkably,there are postoperative complications associated with urinary diversion.This study aimed to assess the efficacy of modified ileal conduit surgery for reducing early and late stoma-and ureteroileal anastomo-sis-related complications,as compared with conventional ileal conduit urinary diversion.Methods:We retrospectively evaluated the clinical data of bladder cancer patients treated with radical cystectomy and ileal conduit urinary diversion at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center between January 1,2000 and June 30,2016.Ileal conduit was created by the conventional or a modified technique.The clinicopathologic features of the conventional and the modified ileal conduit groups were compared using the t test and the Chi square test.Multivari-able logistic regression analysis and multivariable Cox regression analysis were performed to determine the odds of developing stoma-and ureteroileal anastomosis-related complications in the two groups.Results:145 and 100 patients underwent the modified and conventional ileal conduit surgery,respectively.The two groups were comparable with regard to clinicopathologic features.The rate of stoma-related complications was significantly lower in the modified ileal conduit group than in the conventional ileal conduit group(0.7%vs.17.0%,P<0.001).No late stoma-related complications were seen in the modified ileal conduit group,but were seen in 13(13.0%)patients in the conventional ileal conduit group.The rate of ureteroileal anastomosis-related complications was significantly lower in the modified ileal conduit group than in the conventional ileal conduit group(4.8%vs.15.0%,P=0.001).In multivariable analyses,the modified ileal conduit group was significantly less likely to develop stoma-(odds ratio[OR]=0.024,95%confidence interval[CI]0.003-0.235;P=0.001)or ureteroileal anastomosis-related complications(OR=0.141,95%CI 0.042-0.476;P=0.002)than the conventional ileal conduit group.Conclusions:Our modified surgical technique for ileal conduit urinary diversion may be effective for reducing early and late complications related to the stoma and the ureteroileal anastomosis.Prospective randomized clinical trials are needed to confirm our results. | Zhiyong Li Zhuowei Liu Kai Yao Zike Qin Hui Han Yonghong Li Pei Dong Yunlin Ye Yanjun Wang Zhiming Wu Zhiling Zhang Fangjian Zhou | 2019 | Cancer Communications2019，39，1： | 2 |
