1Palaeozoic tectonic evolution of the Tianshan belt,NW China显示文摘The Chinese Tianshan belt is a major part of the southern Central Asian Orogenic Belt,extending westward to Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.Its Paleozoic tectonic evolution,crucial for understanding the amalgamation of Central Asia,comprises two stages of subduction-collision.The first collisional stage built the Eo-Tianshan Mountains,before a Visean unconformity,in which all structures are verging north.It implied a southward subduction of the Central Tianshan Ocean beneath the Tarim active margin,that induced the Ordovician-Early Devonian Central Tianshan arc,to the south of which the South Tianshan back-arc basin opened.During the Late Devonian,the closure of this ocean led to a collision between Central Tianshan arc and the Kazakhstan-Yili-North Tianshan Block,and subsequently closure of the South Tianhan back-arc basin,producing two suture zones,namely the Central Tianshan and South Tianshan suture zones where ophiolitic mélanges and HP metamorphic rocks were emplaced northward.The second stage included the Late Devonian-Carboniferous southward subduction of North Tianshan Ocean beneath the Eo-Tianshan active margin,underlined by the Yili-North Tianshan arc,leading to the collision between the Kazakhstan-Yili-NTS plate and an inferred Junggar Block at Late Carboniferous-Early Permian time.The North Tianshan Suture Zone underlines likely the last oceanic closure of Central Asia Orogenic Belt;all the oceanic domains were consumed before the Middle Permian.The amalgamated units were affected by a Permian major wrenching,dextral in the Tianshan.The correlation with the Kazakh and Kyrgyz Tianshan is clarified.The Kyrgyz South Tianshan is equivalent to the whole part of Chinese Tianshan(CTS and STS) located to the south of Narat Fault and Main Tianshan Shear Zone;the so-called Middle Tianshan thins out toward the east.The South Tianshan Suture of Kyrgyzstan correlates with the Central Tianshan Suture of Chinese Tianshan.The evolution of this southern domain remains similar from east(Gangou area) to west until the Talas-Ferghana Fault,which reflects the convergence history between the Kazakhstan and Tarim blocks.Jacques CHARVET SHU LiangShu Sebastien LAURENT-CHARVET WANG Bo Michel FAURE Dominique CLUZEL CHEN Yan Koen De JONG 2011Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,2:57

3马铃薯块茎形状基因CAPS标记的开发与验证显示文摘马铃薯块茎形状(薯形)是选育马铃薯品种尤其是加工品种最重要的性状之一。前人研究表明薯形是由位于第10染色体的单基因Ro控制的,并且圆形对长形为显性。本研究以二倍体马铃薯长薯形基因型10618-01和圆薯形基因型320-02及其213个F1代薯形分离群体为材料,基于马铃薯基因组相关序列信息结合分离群体分组分析法开发标记,获得了一个CAPS标记1137-CAPSVI。利用该标记对53份不同薯形的四倍体马铃薯高代品系进行验证,结果表明该标记的选择准确率达83.02%,进一步的Pearson双侧相关分析显示其相关性达极显著水平,且该标记对圆薯形材料的选择准确率更高,达91.42%。该CAPS标记的获得对于四倍体马铃薯分子标记辅助育种,加速马铃薯品种尤其是加工专用型品种的选育具有重要意义。朱文文 徐建飞 李广存 段绍光 刘杰 卞春松 庞万福 Walter De Jong 金黎平 2015作物学报2015,41,10:11
4Glutamate reduces experimental intestinal hyperpermeability and facilitates glutamine support of gut integrity显示文摘AIM:To assess whether glutamate plays a similar role to glutamine in preserving gut wall integrity.METHODS:The effects of glutamine and glutamate on induced hyperpermeability in intestinal cell lines were studied.Paracellular hyperpermeability was induced in Caco2.BBE and HT-29CL.19A cell lines by adding phorbol-12,13-dibutyrate(PDB) apically,after which the effects of glutamine and glutamate on horseradish peroxidase(HRP) diffusion were studied.An inhibitor of glutamate transport(L-trans-pyrrolidine-2,4-dicarboxylic acid:trans-PDC) and an irreversible blocker(acivicin) of the extracellular glutamine to glutamate converting enzyme,γ-glutamyltransferase,were used.RESULTS:Apical to basolateral HRP flux increased significantly compared to controls not exposed to PDB (n=30,P<0.001).Glutamine application reduced hyperpermeability by 19%and 39%in the respective cell lines.Glutamate application reduced hyperpermeability by 30%and 20%,respectively.Incubation of HT29CL.19A cells with acivicin and subsequent PDB and glutamine addition increased permeability levels.Incubation of Caco2.BBE cells with trans-PDC followed by PDB and glutamate addition also resulted in high permeability levels.CONCLUSION:Apical glutamate-similar to glutaminecan decrease induced paracellular hyperpermeability.Extracellular conversion of glutamine to glutamate and subsequent uptake of glutamate could be a pivotal step in the mechanism underlying the protective effect of glutamine.Mechteld AR Vermeulen Jeffrey de Jong Mathijs J Vaessen Paul AM van Leeuwen Alexander PJ Houdijk 2011World Journal of Gastroenterology2011,17,12:9
5基础设施网络整合与跨区域治理——“哈大齐”工业走廊与松花江水污染案例分析显示文摘在全球化和信息化背景下,区域管理正在从传统的都市区(Metropolitan)管理过渡到巨型都市区(Megapolitan)或者城市走廊(City Corridor)的管理。从社会技术系统(Societal-techno System)视角,将区域管理作为一个涉众系统(Multi-actor System)考虑,研究物理系统与社会网络之间的交互作用,通过研究基础设施网络和跨区域治理关系,探索涉众系统情境下的政策制定模型。采用理论分析和案例研究相结合的方法,利用哈大齐工业走廊案例和松花江水污染案例进行了研究。结果发现,基础设施整合具有嵌入性特征;基础设施整合和专业化分工网络的形成,是跨区域治理的基础,所形成的城市网络,其核心功能体现在'分散的集中化'上,以保证有效的基础设施整合、分工网络的形成和提供高级生产者服务;在跨区域治理政策制定中,应该采用自上而下和自下而上组合的基于规则和过程的涉众情境下的政策制定过程,以实现社会、政府和市场之间的均衡。西宝 Martin de Jong 2007公共管理学报2007,4,4:6
6m TOR signaling in liver regeneration: Rapamycin combined with growth factor treatment显示文摘AIM: To investigate the effects of mammalian target of rapamycin(mT OR) inhibition on liver regeneration and autophagy in a surgical resection model.METHODS: C57BL/6 mice were subjected to a 70% partial hepatectomy(PH) and treated intraperitoneally every 24 h with a combination of the m TOR inhibitor rapamycin(2.5 mg/kg per day) and the steroid dexamethasone(2.0 mg/kg per day) in phosphate bufferedsaline(PBS) or with PBS alone as vehicle control. In the immunosuppressant group, part of the group was treated subcutaneously 4 h prior to and 24 h after PH with a combination of human recombinant interleukin 6(IL-6; 500 μg/kg per day) and hepatocyte growth factor(HGF; 100 μg/kg per day) in PBS. Animals were sacrificed 2, 3 or 5 d after PH and liver tissue and blood were collected for further analysis. Immunohistochemical staining for 5-Bromo-2'-deoxyuridine(Brd U) was used to quantify hepatocyte proliferation. Western blotting was used to detect hepatic microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3(LC3)-Ⅱ protein expression as a marker for autophagy. Hepatic gene expression levels of proliferation-, inflammation- and angiogenesisrelated genes were examined by real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and serum bilirubin and transaminase levels were analyzed at the clinical chemical core facility of the Erasmus MC-University Medical Center.RESULTS: m TOR inhibition significantly suppressed regeneration, shown by decreased hepatocyte proliferation(2% vs 12% Brd U positive hepatocyte nuclei at day 2, P < 0.01; 0.8% vs 1.4% at day 5, P = 0.02) and liver weight reconstitution(63% vs 76% of initial total liver weight at day 3, P = 0.04), and furthermore increased serum transaminase levels(aspartate aminotransferase 641 U/L vs 185 U/L at day 2, P = 0.02). Expression of the autophagy marker LC3-Ⅱ, which was reduced during normal liver regeneration, increased after mT OR inhibition(46% increase at day 2, P = 0.04). Hepatic gene expression showed an increased inflammation-related response [tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α 3.2-fold upregulation at day 2, P = 0.03; IL-1Ra 6.0-fold upregulation at day 2 and 42.3-fold upregulation at day 5, P < 0.01] and a reduced expression of cell cycle progression and angiogenesis-related factors(HGF 40% reduction at day 2; vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 50% reduction at days 2 and 5; angiopoietin 1 60% reduction at day 2, all P ≤ 0.01). Treatmentwith the regeneration stimulating cytokine IL-6 and growth factor HGF could overcome the inhibitory effect on liver weight(75% of initial total liver weight at day 3, P = 0.02 vs immunosuppression alone and P = 0.90 vs controls) and partially reversed gene expression changes caused by rapamycin(TNF-α and IL-1Ra levels at day 2 were restored to control levels). However, no significant changes in hepatocyte proliferation, serum injury markers or autophagy were found.CONCLUSION: mT OR inhibition severely impairs liver regeneration and increases autophagy after PH. 9An efficient and accurate framework for calculating lattice thermal conductivity of solids:AFLOW-AAPL Automatic Anharmonic Phonon Library显示文摘One of the most accurate approaches for calculating lattice thermal conductivity,κ_(l),is solving the Boltzmann transport equation starting from third-order anharmonic force constants.In addition to the underlying approximations of ab-initio parameterization,two main challenges are associated with this path:high computational costs and lack of automation in the frameworks using this methodology,which affect the discovery rate of novel materials with ad-hoc properties.Here,the Automatic Anharmonic Phonon Library(AAPL)is presented.It efficiently computes interatomic force constants by making effective use of crystal symmetry analysis,it solves the Boltzmann transport equation to obtain κ_(l),and allows a fully integrated operation with minimum user intervention,a rational addition to the current high-throughput accelerated materials development framework AFLOW.An“experiment vs.theory”study of the approach is shown,comparing accuracy and speed with respect to other available packages,and for materials characterized by strong electron localization and correlation.Combining AAPL with the pseudo-hybrid functional ACBN0 is possible to improve accuracy without increasing computational requirements.Jose J.Plata Pinku Nath Demet Usanmaz Jesus Carrete Cormac Toher Maarten de Jong Mark Asta Marco Fornari Marco Buongiorno Nardelli Stefano Curtarolo 2017npj Computational Materials2017,,1:5

12On tolerability and safety of a maintenance treatment with 6-thioguanine in azathioprineor 6-mercaptopurine intolerant IBD patients显示文摘AIM: To determine the tolerability and safety profile of a low-dose maintenance therapy with 6-TG in azathioprine (AZA) or 6-mercaptopurine (6-MP) intolerant inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients over a treatment period of at least 1 year.METHODS: Database analysis.RESULTS: Twenty out of ninety-five (21%) patients discontinued 6-TG (mean dose 24.6 mg; mean 6-TGN level 540 pmol/8×108 RBC) within 1 year. Reasons for discontinuation were GI complaints (31%), malaise (15%)and hepatotoxicity (15%). Hematological events occurred in three patients, one discontinued treatment. In the 6-TG-tolerant group, 9% (7/75) could be classified as hepatotoxicity. An abdominal ultrasound was performed in 54% of patients, one patient had splenomegaly.CONCLUSION: The majority of AZA or 6-MP-intolerant IBD patients (79%) is able to tolerate maintenance treatment with 6-TG (dosages between 0.3 and 0.4 mg/kg per d). 6-TG may still be considered as an escape maintenance immunosuppressant in this difficult to treat group of patients, taking into account potential toxicity and efficacy of other alternatives. 14视网膜血管直径与卒中风险的关系:鹿特丹研究显示文摘Background: Retinal vessels may provide information on cerebral vascular pathology, because they share many features with cerebral vessels. A smaller ratio of the retinal arteriolar-to-venular diameters reportedly predicts the risk of stroke. It is unclear if this is due to arteriolar narrowing or venular dilation. Objective: To investigate whether smaller arteriolar or larger venular diameters are related to the risk of stroke and cerebral infarction. Methods: This study was based on the prospective population-based Rotterdam Study and included 5,540 participants of 55 years or over, who had gradable fundus transparencies and were free of stroke at baseline (1990 to 1993). For each participant, retinal arteriolar and venular diameters were measured on digitized images of one eye. Follow-up for first-ever stroke was complete until January 1, 2002. Results: After a mean follow-up of 8.5 years, 411 participants had a stroke, of whom 259 had cerebral infarction. Larger venular diameters were associated with an increased risk of stroke (hazard ratio [HR] adjusted for age and sex per SD increase: 1.12 [95%CI: 1.02 to 1.24]) and cerebral infarction (HR: 1.15 [95%CI: 1.02 to 1.29]). Smaller arteriolar diameters were neither related to the risk of stroke (HR per SD decrease: 1.02 [95%CI: 0.93 to 1.13]) nor to the risk of cerebral infarction (HR: 1.02 [95%CI: 0.90 to 1.15]). After additional adjustment for other cardiovascular risk factors, the results did not change. Conclusions: Larger retinal venular diameters are associated with an increased risk of stroke and cerebral infarction. 16Stability and activity of carbon nanofiber-supported catalysts in the aqueous phase reforming of ethylene glycol显示文摘Nickel, cobalt, copper and platinum nanoparticles supported on carbon nano-fibers were evaluated with respect to their stability, catalytic activity and selectivity in the aqueous phase reforming of ethylene glycol (230 C, autogenous pressure, batch reactor). The initial surface-specific activities for ethylene glycol reforming were in a similar range but decreased in the order of Pt (15.5 h1 ) >Co(13.0 h1 ) >Ni(5.2 h1 ) while the Cu catalyst only showed low dehydrogenation activity. The hydrogen molar selectivity decreased in the order of Pt (53%)>Co(21%)>Ni (15%) as a result of the production of methane over the latter two catalysts. Over the Co catalyst acids were formed in the liquid phase while alcohols were formed over Ni and Pt. Due to the low pH of the reaction mixture, especially in the case of Co (as a result of the formed acids), significant cobalt leaching occurs which resulted in a rapid deactivation of this catalyst. Investigations of the spent catalysts with various techniques showed that metal particle growth is responsible for the deactivation of the Pt and Ni catalysts. 18Prevention of overuse: A view on upper gastrointestinal endoscopy显示文摘Many upper gastrointestinal(GI) endoscopies worldwide are performed for inappropriate indications. This overuse of healthcare negatively affects healthcare quality and puts pressure on endoscopy services. Dyspepsia is one of the most common inappropriate indications for upper GI endoscopy as diagnostic yield is low. Reasons for untimely referral are: unfamiliarity with dyspepsia guidelines,uncertainty about etiology of symptoms, and therapy failure. Unfiltered openaccess referrals feed upper GI endoscopy overuse. This review highlights strategies applied to diminish use of upper GI endoscopies for dyspepsia. First,we describe the impact of active guideline implementation. We found improved guideline adherence, but resistance was encountered in the process. Secondly, we show several forms of clinical assessment. While algorithm use reduced upper GI endoscopy volume, effects of referral assessment of individual patients were minor. A third strategy proposed Helicobacter pylori test and treat for all dyspeptic patients. Many upper GI endoscopies can be avoided using this strategy, but outcomes may be prevalence dependent. Lastly, empirical treatment with Proton pump inhibitors achieved symptom relief for dyspepsia and avoided upper GI endoscopies in about two thirds of patients. Changing referral behavior is complex as contributing factors are manifold. 19心肌梗死后抑郁的预测:来自心肌梗死和抑郁干预试验(MIND-IT)的数据显示文摘Background: Depression following myocardial infarction(MI) is associated with complicated cardiac rehabilitation, noncompliance and poor prognosis. Whether de pression following MI can be predicted from variables routinely assessed during hospitalization for MI is unknown. Methods: Using data from the Myocardial INfar ction and Depression-Intervention Trial(MIND-IT),we identified 2177 MI patient s(mean age 63 years; 23%female). Patients were randomly divided into a derivati on and a validation sample. In the derivation sample, we analyzed variables pote ntially associated with the development of post-MI depressive disorder, which w ere tested in the validation sample. Results: In the year following MI, 18.5%su ffered from depressive disorder(ICD-10 criteria). In a multivariate model, fact ors associated with depression were younger age(OR 1.94; CI 1.38-2.74), hyperch olesterolemia(OR 1.68; CI 1.08-2.61), the use of calcium channel blockers at di scharge(OR 1.80; CI 1.20-2.71), and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)(OR 4.14 for patients with LVEF< 30%; CI 2.42-7.10). The derived predictors were tested in the validation sample. The final model yielded two clinical predictors , i.e., younger age and severe LV-dysfunction, which correctly predicted post- discharge depression status in 82.9%of the MI patients. The model yielded a hig h negative predictive value(89%). A positive depression questionnaire(BDI) duri ng hospitalization increased the positive predictive value of 23%to 52%. Concl usions: During hospitalization for MI and using a two-step strategy with common clinical variables, i.e., younger age, severe LV-dysfunction and BDI score dur ing hospitalization, it is possible to identify MI patients with a high risk for subsequent development of depression.Van Melle J.P.
