1Electrocatalytic determination of L-cysteine using a modified carbon nanotube paste electrode:Application to the analysis of some real samples显示文摘The electrooxidation of L-cysteine(L-Cys) was studied using a benzoylferrocene(BF) modified multi-wall carbon nanotube paste electrode(BFCNPE) using cyclic voltammetry(CV),square wave voltammetry(SWV) and chronoamperometry(CHA).Under optimum pH in CV the oxidation of L-Cys occurs at a potential about 215 mV less positive than that at the surface of unmodified carbon paste electrode.The catalytic oxidation peak currents were dependent on the L-Cys concentration and a linear calibration curve was obtained in the range 0.7-350.0 mmol/L of L-Cys with SWV method.The detection limit(3s) was determined as 0.1 mmol/L.This method was also used for the determination of L-Cys in some real samples.Malihe Ahmadipour Mohammad Ali Taher Hadi Beitollahi Rahman Hosseinzadeh 2012Chinese Chemical Letters2012,23,8:5

3Low generational polyamidoamine dendrimers to enhance the solubility of folic acid:A‘‘dendritic effect’’investigation显示文摘Low generational(G0–G2,G for generation) polyamidoamine(PAMAM) dendrimers were investigated as enhancers to improve the aqueous solubility of folic acid at pH 11 and pH 5.In these two cases,the solubility of folic acid increases with both the dendrimer concentration and generation.However,the solubilization mechanism is different.The electrostatic interaction between the primary amines of dendrimers and the ionized carboxylic groups of folic acid dominates the dissolution process at pH 11 while the increase of the solubility of folic acid at pH 5 is attributed to the hydrophobic encapsulation inside the dendrimer molecules.In addition,for comparison ethylenediamine was used as a small molecule control to examine the ‘‘dendritic effect'' in the dendrimer-related solubilization process.Interestingly,PAMAM dendrimers exhibit,at pH 5,a significant superiority over ethylenediamine in enhancing solubility,whereas this ‘‘dendritic effect'' cannot be observed under the basic condition.Yong Zhang Mei-Ying Xu Tie-Kun Jiang Wei-Zhe Huang Jiang-Yu Wu 2014Chinese Chemical Letters2014,25,5:3

5Challenges for cysteamine stabilization,quantification,and biological effects improvement显示文摘The aminothiol cysteamine,derived from coenzyme A degradation in mammalian cells,presents several biological applications.However,the bitter taste and sickening odor,chemical instability,hygroscopicity,and poor pharmacokinetic profile of cysteamine limit its efficacy.The use of encapsulation systems is a good methodology to overcome these undesirable properties and improve the pharmacokinetic behavior of cysteamine.Besides,the conjugation of cysteamine to the surface of nanoparticles is generally proposed to improve the intra-oral delivery of cyclodextrin-drug inclusion complexes,as well as to enhance the colorimetric detection of compounds by a gold nanoparticle aggregation method.On the other hand,the detection and quantification of cysteamine is a challenging mission due to the lack of a chromophore in its structure and its susceptibility to oxidation before or during the analysis.Derivatization agents are therefore applied for the quantification of this molecule.To our knowledge,the derivatization techniques and the encapsulation systems used for cysteamine delivery were not reviewed previously.Thus,this review aims to compile all the data on these methods as well as to provide an overview of the various biological applications of cysteamine focusing on its skin application.Carla Atallah Catherine Charcosset Helene Greige-Gerges 2020Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2020,10,6:0
6Highly sensitive determination of promazine in pharmaceutical and biological samples using a ZnO nanoparticle-modified ionic liquid carbon paste electrode显示文摘In this work we describe the first report for the determination of promazine using a nanostructuremodified ionic liquid carbon paste electrode in aqueous solutions. To achieve this goal, a novel modified carbon paste electrode using ZnO nanoparticles and 1-methyl-3-butylimidazolium bromide as a binder(ZnO/NPs/ILs/CPE) was fabricated. The oxidation peak potential of promazine at the surface of the ZnO/NPs/ILs/CPE appeared at 685 m V, which was about 65 m V lower than the oxidation potential at the surface of CPE under similar conditions. Also, the peak current was increased to about 4.0 times higher at the surface of ZnO/NPs/ILs/CPE compared to that of CPE. The linear response range and detection limit were found to be 0.08–450 and 0.04 mmol/L, respectively.
