1The characteristics, origins, and geodynamic settings of supergiant gold metallogenic provinces显示文摘There are six distinct classes of gold deposits, each represented by metallogenic provinces, having 100’s to > 1 000 tonne gold production. The deposit classes are: (1) erogenic gold; (2) Carlin and Carlin-like gold deposits; (3) epithermal gold-silver deposits; (4) copper-gold porphyry deposits; (5) iron-oxide copper-gold deposits; and (6) gold-rich volcanic hosted massive sul-fide (VMS) to sedimentary exhalative (SEDEX) deposits. This classification is based on ore and alteration mineral assemblages; ore and alteration metal budgets; ore fluid pressure(s) and compositions; crustal depth or depth ranges of formation; relationship to structures and/or magmatic intrusions at a variety of scales; and relationship to the P-T-t evolution of the host terrane. These classes reflect distinct geodynamic settings. 6西秦岭与埃达克岩和喜马拉雅型花岗岩有关的金铜成矿及找矿问题显示文摘秦岭金矿分布广,目前学术界大多认为分属于造山型和卡林型金矿两类。该区印支期花岗岩发育,大多具有埃达克岩和喜马拉雅型花岗岩(低Sr和Yb)的特点,与金铜矿在时空分布上相关。美国内华达州卡林型金矿是世界级的金矿聚集区,与卡林型金矿有关的第三纪岩浆岩(中酸性火山岩和浅成花岗岩)也具有埃达克岩和喜马拉雅型花岗岩的地球化学特征,暗示内华达卡林型金矿也来源于加厚下地壳的底部。本文讨论了埃达克岩和喜马拉雅型花岗岩有利于成矿的机理,并根据西秦岭金矿与花岗岩分布的关系,提出以夏河-宕昌-两当-凤县为界将西秦岭划分为南北两个成矿区和13个成矿聚集区:北区花岗岩发育,有利于寻找斑岩型、夕卡岩型等热液型金铜矿床;南带侵入岩少而小,有利于寻找远离岩体的金矿(包括卡林型等)。鉴于西秦岭印支期埃达克岩和喜马拉雅型花岗岩发育,金铜尤其是金矿分布多,储量大,且大多与埃达克岩或喜马拉雅型花岗岩有关,可能是中国金矿最具潜力的地区,有利于特大型金铜矿的产出,可能发展成为中国最大的金矿聚集区。为此,建议加强本区花岗岩与金铜成矿关系的研究,革新找矿思路和找矿技术方法,以实现找矿的新突破。张旗 殷先明 殷勇 金惟俊 王元龙 赵彦庆 2009岩石学报2009,25,12:69
7The Rb-Sr isochron of ore and pyrite sub-samples from Linglong gold deposit, Jiaodong Peninsula, eastern China and their geological significance显示文摘Here we report the first direct Rb-Sr dating of pyrites and ores using sub-sampling from lode gold deposits in Linglong, Jiaodong Peninsula, which is a supra-large lode gold deposit and propose this as a useful geochronological technique for gold mineralization with poor age constraint. The Rb-Sr data of pyrites yield an isochron age of (121.6±8.1) Ma, whereas those of ore and ore-pyrite spread in two ranges from 120.0 to 121.8 Ma and from 110.0 to 111.7 Ma. Studies of characteristic of gold deposit and microscopy of pyrite and quartz indicate that the apparent ages of ore and ore-pyrite are not isochron ages, only mixed by two end members, i.e. the primitive hydrothermal fluids and wall rocks, whereas the isochron age of pyrite sub-samples constrains the age of gold mineralization (121.6±8.1) Ma, i.e. early Cretaceous, which is in good agreement with the published SHRIMP zircon U-Pb ages.Jinhui Yang Xinhua Zhou 2000Chinese Science Bulletin2000,45,24:47

9^(40)Ar-^(39)Ar dating and geological implication of auriferous altered rocks from the middle-deep section of Q875 gold-quartz vein in Xiaoqinling area, Henan,China显示文摘The 40Ar-39Ar age method is employed in this work to analyze the auriferous altered rocks from the middle-deep section of the Q875 gold-quartz vein in the Xiao-qinling area, and the results show that the main gold deposition of the Q875 occurred in ca. 128-126 Ma. As a typical gold-bearing quartz vein in this gold-rich area, the age data obtained from the Q875 also constrain on the metallogenic time of the lode gold deposits developed in the same geological settings. 11Metallogenic geodynamic background of Mesozoic gold deposits in granite-greenstone terrains of North China Craton显示文摘The spatial distribution map of 65 mid-large gold-deposits hosted in the granite-greenstone terrains of the North China Craton is first drawn. These gold deposits mainly concentrate in the Mesozoic remobilized Yinshan-Yanshan-Liaoning-Jilin intracontinental collisional orogenic belt, the northern Qinling and the Jiaodong Mesozoic collisional orogenic belts, and the Mesozoic intracontinental fault-magmatic belts developed along the Taihangshan and the Tan-Lu faults; their mineralizing time is predominantly Jurassic-Cretaceous, i.e. the Yanshanian. 19^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar and Rb-Sr isochron dating of the gold deposits on northern margin of the Jiaolai Basin,Shandong,China显示文摘The Pengjiakuang, Dazhuangzi and Fayunkuang gold deposits, located on the northern margin of the Mesozoic Jiaolai Basin, east of Shandong Province, are controlled by a low-angle normal fault. Gold ores are typically brecciated, veinlet and disseminated. The Ar-Ar and Rb-Sr isochron dating methods were adopted to date ores and lamprophyre dike. The results indicate that the age of the Pengjiakuang gold deposit is 117.33—118.42 Ma, that of the Dazhuangzi gold deposit is 117.39 Ma, and that of the Fayunkuang gold deposit is (128.49±7.2) Ma. The consistency in metallogenic age between the gold deposits on the margin of the Jiaolai Basin and the gold deposits (115—126 Ma) of the northern uplift area suggests that both were formed in the same metallogenic period. 20Metallogenesis of superlarge gold deposits in Jiaodong region and deep processes of subcontinental lithosphere beneath North China Craton in Mesozoic显示文摘The study of ore-forming chronology indicates that the superlarge gold deposits in the Jiaodong region were formed in 120±10 Ma. Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic compositions from typical gold deposits suggest that ore-forming materials were derived from the multisources, mantle component was partly involved in mineralization, the deep dynamic processes are the major geological background of large-scale metallogenesis in the Jiaodong region in Mesozoic. The deep pro- cesses mainly include the effect of post deep-subduction of continental crust of the central orogen belt and the distant effect of subduction of the paleo-Pacific plate underneath the Eurasian continent.
