3A cellular automata evacuation model considering friction and repulsion显示文摘There exist interactions among pedestrians and between pedestrian and environment in evacuation. These interactions include attraction, repulsion and friction that play key roles in human evacuation behaviors, speed and efficiency. Most former evacuation models focus on the attraction force, while repulsion and friction are not well modeled. As a kind of multi-particle self-driven model, the social force model introduced in recent years can represent those three forces but with low simulation efficiency because it is a continuous model with complex rules. Discrete models such as the cellular automata model and the lattice gas model have simple rules and high simulation efficiency, but are not quite suitable for interactions’ simulation. In this paper, a new cellular automata model based on traditional models is introduced in which repulsion and friction are modeled quantitatively. 5基于lattice Boltzmann方法对裂隙煤体中瓦斯运移规律的模拟研究显示文摘基于lattice Boltzmann方法建立一个新的模拟裂隙煤体内瓦斯渗流的动力学模型,并利用该模型模拟二维裂隙煤体内瓦斯流动。模拟结果表明,采动压力差对瓦斯流动速度、孔隙瓦斯压力及瓦斯压力梯度都有很大的影响。在采动压力条件下,瓦斯在裂隙煤体中的流动压力具有波动性,波动幅度的大小与流场两端的压力差有关。在瓦斯压力达到峰值前的瞬时,孔隙瓦斯压力梯度很大。随着采动压力差的增大,瓦斯流动由层流过渡到紊流,同时孔隙压力出现发散,压力变化出现明显的非线性特征。基于lattice Boltzmann方法的模拟结果与用其他方法得到的瓦斯渗流规律比较吻合,表明lattice Boltzmann方法可有效模拟瓦斯在裂隙煤体中的运移规律,这为进一步探讨煤与瓦斯两相耦合机制、煤与瓦斯突出机制及瓦斯抽放方案的设计提供新的思路。滕桂荣 谭云亮 高明 2007岩石力学与工程学报2007,26,A01:15

7Lightweight structure of a phase-change thermal controller based on lattice cells manufactured by SLM显示文摘Thermal controllers equipped with phase-change materials are widely used for maintaining the moderate temperatures of various electric devices used in spacecraft. Yet, the structures of amounts of thermal controllers add up to such a large value that restricts the employment of scientific devices due to the limit of rocket capacity. A lightweight structure of phase-change thermal controllers has been one of the main focuses of spacecraft design engineering. In this work, we design a lightweight phase-change thermal controller structure based on lattice cells. The structure is manufactured entirely with AlSi10 Mg by direct metal laser melting. The dimensions of the structure are 230 mm × 170 mm × 15 mm, and the mass is 190 g, which is 60% lighter than most traditional structures(500–600 g) with the same dimensions. The 3 D-printed structure can reduce the risk of leakage at soldering manufacture by a welding process. Whether the strength of the designed structure is sufficient is determined through mechanical analysis and experiments. 8Ultralight X-type lattice sandwich structure(I):Concept,fabrication and experimental characterization显示文摘A new type of ultra-lightweight metallic lattice structure (named as the X-type structure) is reported. This periodic structure was formed by two groups of staggered struts in the traditional pyramid strurture, and fabricated by folding expanded metal sheet along rows of offset nodes and then brazing the folded structure (as the core) with top and bottom facesheets to form sandwich panels. The out-of-plane compressive and shear properties of the X-type lattice sandwich structure were investigated experimentally and compared to those of the sandwich having a pyramidal truss core. It is found that the formation of the 2-dimensional staggered nodes can effectively make the X-type structure more resistant to inelastic and plastic buckling under both compression and shear loading than the pyramidal lattice truss. 9Lattice Boltzmann model for combustion and detonation显示文摘In this paper we present a lattice Boltzmann model for combustion and detonation. In this model tile fluid behavior is described by a finite-difference lattice Boltzmann model by Gan et al. [Physica A, 2008. 387: 1721]. The chemical reaction is described by the Lee Tarver model [Phys. Fluids, 1980, 23: 2362]. The reaction heat is naturally coupled with the flow behavior. Due to the separation of time scales in the chemical and thermodynamic processes, a key technique for a successful simulation is to use the operator-splitting scheme. The new model is verified and validated by well-known benchmark tests. As a specific application of the new model, we studied the simple steady detonation phenomenon. To show the merit of LB model over the traditional ones, we focus on the reaction zone to study the non-equilibrium effects. It is interesting to find that, at the yon Neumann peak, the system is nearly in its thermodynamic equilibrium. At the two sides of the yon Neumann peak, the system deviates from its equilibrium in opposite directions. In the front of von Neumann peak, due to the strong compression from the reaction product behind the von Neumann peak, the system experiences a sudden deviation from thermodynamic equilibrium. Behind the von Neumann peak, the release of chemical energy results in thermal expansion of the matter within the reaction zone, which drives the system to deviate the thermodynamic equilibrium in the opposite direction. 10FLOW PAST TWO ROTATING CIRCULAR CYLINDERS IN A SIDE-BY-SIDE ARRANGEMENT显示文摘Measurements were performed using Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV) to analyze the modification of flow by the combined effects of the rotation and the Reynolds number on the flow past two rotating circular cylinders in a side-by-side-arrangement at a range of 425 ≤ Re≤ 1130,0 ≤α≤ 4(α is the rotational speed) at one gap spacing of T / d =1.11(T and d are the distance between the centers of two cylinders and the cylinder diameter,respectively).A new Immersed-Lattice Boltzmann Method(ILBM) scheme was used to study the effect of the gap spacing on the flow.The results show that the vortex shedding is suppressed as rotational speed increases.The flow reaches a steady state when the vortex shedding for both cylinders is completely suppressed at critical rotational speed.As the rotational speed further increases,the separation phenomenon in the boundary layers disappears at the attachment rotational speed.The critical rotational speed and attachment rotational speed become small as Reynolds number increases.The absolute rotational speed of cylinders should be large at same critical rotational speed and attachment rotational speed in the case of large Reynolds number.The gap spacing has an important role in changing the pattern of vortex shedding.It is very different in the mechanism of vortex shedding suppression for the flows around two rotating cylinders and single rotating cylinder.GUO Xiao-hui LIN Jian-zhong TU Cheng-xu WANG Hao-li 2009Journal of Hydrodynamics2009,21,2:14

12Additive manufacturing of Ti-6Al-4V lattice structures with high structural integrity under large compressive deformation显示文摘Additively manufactured Ti-6 Al-4 V lattice structures have found important niche applications. However, they often show insufficient compressive ductility or insufficient structural integrity. In this study,a batch of 45 octahedral Ti-6 Al-4 V lattice structures was manufactured in three different strut diameters(0.5, 1.0, 1.5 mm) by selective electron beam melting(SEBM). The influence of post-SEBM annealing on the compressive deformation characteristics of the lattice structure was investigated. The as-built Ti-6 Al-4 V lattices fragmented when the compressive strain reached 13%–23% depending on strut diameter.Annealing at 950?C(β transus temperature: 995?C) only slightly improved the compressive ductility of the lattice structures. However, annealing at 1050?C(β-annealing) fundamentally changed the compressive deformation mode of the lattice structures. 14Lattice Boltzmann modeling of transport phenomena in fuel cells and flow batteries显示文摘Fuel cells and flow batteries are promising technologies to address climate change and air pollution problems. An understanding of the complex multiscale and multiphysics transport phenomena occurring in these electrochemical systems requires powerful numerical tools. Over the past decades, the lattice Boltzmann(LB) method has attracted broad interest in the computational fluid dynamics and the numerical heat transfer communities, primarily due to its kinetic nature making it appropriate for modeling complex multiphase transport phenomena. More importantly, the LB method fits well with parallel computing due to its locality feature, which is required for large-scale engineering applications. In this article, we review the LB method for gas–liquid two-phase flows, coupled fluid flow and mass transport in porous media, and particulate flows. 17Lattice-Based Double-Authentication-Preventing Ring Signature for Security and Privacy in Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks显示文摘Amidst the rapid development of the Internet of Things (loT), Vehicular Ad-Hoc NETwork (VANET), a typical loT application, are bringing an ever-larger number of intelligent and convenient services to the daily lives of individuals. However, there remain challenges for VANETs in preserving privacy and security. In this paper, we propose the first lattice-based Double-Authentication-Preventing Ring Signature (DAPRS) and adopt it to propose a novel privacy-preserving authentication scheme for VANETs, offering the potential for security against quantum computers. The new construction is proven secure against chosen message attacks. Our scheme is more efficient than other ring signature in terms of the time cost of the message signing phase and verification phase, and also in terms of signature length. 18Minor alloying behavior in bulk metallic glasses and high-entropy alloys显示文摘The effect of minor alloying on several bulk metallic glasses and high-entropy al-loys was studied. It was found that minor Nb addition can optimize the interface structure between the W fiber and the Zr-based bulk metallic glass in the compos-ites,and improve the mechanical properties. Minor Y addition can destabilize the crystalline phases by inducing lattice distortion as a result to improve the glass-forming ability,and the lattice distortion energy is closely related to the effi-ciency of space filling of the competing crystalline phases. A long-period ordered structure can precipitate in the Mg-based bulk metallic glass by yttrium alloying. 20并列双方柱绕流的Lattice Boltzmann模拟分析显示文摘采用Lattice Boltzmann方法对并列双方柱绕流问题进行数值模拟。对方柱间距比s/D=0.2、0.3、0.4、0.5、1.0、1.4、1.5、1.6、1.8、2.0、2.5共11种情况下的流场分别进行计算,给出了对应的流线图、方柱的升力图及阻力图,同时计算了方柱各边中点的压力,给出了压力与间距比的变化曲线,并对各个流线图、升力图、阻力图及压力图进行了分析讨论。结果表明:当s/D≤1.5时,流动呈偏流型,形成周期漩涡;当s/D>1.5时,流动呈对称型,形成对称漩涡;s/D=1.5为流动从偏流型向对称型转换的临界间距比。该结果对工程中建筑物位置的安排及其安全系数的提高有一定的参考价值。饶勇 倪玉山 刘超峰 2008应用力学学报2008,25,2:10
