1Boundary-processing-technique in EMD method and Hilbert transform显示文摘By virtue of neural network, a series of signals is extended forward and backward, as a result, two additional maxima and two additional minima are obtained at both ends of the original data set, with which the EMD decomposition can be exactly achieved with cubic spline interpolation. Meanwhile, by using of neural network every IMF component can also be extended forward and backward, which effectively restrains the end effect, thus the veracious Hilbert spectra are achieved. 2A general-purpose machine learning framework for predicting properties of inorganic materials显示文摘A very active area of materials research is to devise methods that use machine learning to automatically extract predictive models from existing materials data.While prior examples have demonstrated successful models for some applications,many more applications exist where machine learning can make a strong impact.To enable faster development of machine-learning-based models for such applications,we have created a framework capable of being applied to a broad range of materials data.Our method works by using a chemically diverse list of attributes,which we demonstrate are suitable for describing a wide variety of properties,and a novel method for partitioning the data set into groups of similar materials to boost the predictive accuracy.In this manuscript,we demonstrate how this new method can be used to predict diverse properties of crystalline and amorphous materials,such as band gap energy and glass-forming ability.Logan Ward Ankit Agrawal Alok Choudhary Christopher Wolverton 2016npj Computational Materials2016,,1:83
3Longwall mining “cutting cantilever beam theory” and 110 mining method in China——The third mining science innovation显示文摘With the third innovation in science and technology worldwide, China has also experienced this marvelous progress. Concerning the longwall mining in China, the 'masonry beam theory'(MBT) was first proposed in the 1960 s, illustrating that the transmission and equilibrium method of overburden pressure using reserved coal pillar in mined-out areas can be realized. This forms the so-called '121mining method', which lays a solid foundation for development of mining science and technology in China. The 'transfer rock beam theory'(TRBT) proposed in the 1980 s gives a further understanding for the transmission path of stope overburden pressure and pressure distribution in high-stress areas. In this regard, the advanced 121 mining method was proposed with smaller coal pillar for excavation design,making significant contributions to improvement of the coal recovery rate in that era. In the 21 st century,the traditional mining technologies faced great challenges and, under the theoretical developments pioneered by Profs. Minggao Qian and Zhenqi Song, the 'cutting cantilever beam theory'(CCBT) was proposed in 2008. After that the 110 mining method is formulated subsequently, namely one stope face,after the first mining cycle, needs one advanced gateway excavation, while the other one is automatically formed during the last mining cycle without coal pillars left in the mining area. This method can be implemented using the CCBT by incorporating the key technologies, including the directional presplitting roof cutting, constant resistance and large deformation(CRLD) bolt/anchor supporting system with negative Poisson's ratio(NPR) effect material, and remote real-time monitoring technology. 4Effect of Graphene Nanoplatelets addition on mechanical properties of pure aluminum using a semi-powder method显示文摘In recent years, graphene has attracted considerable research interest in all fields of science due to its unique properties. Its excellent mechanical properties lead it to be used in nano-composites for strength enhancement. This paper reports an Aluminum–Graphene Nanoplatelets(Al/GNPs)composite using a semi-powder method followed by hot extrusion. The effect of GNP nano-particle integration on tensile, compressive and hardness response of Al is investigated in this paper. It is demonstrated that 0.3 wt% Graphene Nanoplatelets distributed homogeneously in the matrix aluminum act as an effective reinforcing filler to prevent deformation. Compared to monolithic aluminum(in tension), Al–0.3 wt% GNPs composite exhibited higher 0.2% yield strength(+14.7%), ultimate tensile strength(+11.1%) and lower failure strain( -40.6%). Surprisingly, compared to monolithic Al(in compression), Al–0.3 wt% GNPs composite exhibited same 0.2% compressive yield strength and lower ultimate compression strength(- 7.8%),and lower failure strain(- 20.2%). 5Moment-independent importance measure of basic random variable and its probability density evolution solution显示文摘To analyze the effect of basic variable on failure probability in reliability analysis,a moment-independent importance measure of the basic random variable is proposed,and its properties are analyzed and verified.Based on this work,the importance measure of the basic variable on the failure probability is compared with that on the distribution density of the response.By use of the probability density evolution method,a solution is established to solve two importance measures,which can efficiently avoid the difficulty in solving the importance measures.Some numerical examples and engineering examples are used to demonstrate the proposed importance measure on the failure probability and that on the distribution density of the response.The results show that the proposed importance measure can effectively describe the effect of the basic variable on the failure probability from the distribution density of the basic variable.Additionally,the results show that the established solution on the probability density evolution is efficient for the importance measures.CUI LiJie,Lü ZhenZhou & ZHAO XinPan School of Aeronautics,Northwestern Polytechnical University,Xi’an 710072,China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,4:41

10多场耦合作用下岩体裂隙扩展演化关键问题研究显示文摘裂隙岩体热-水-应力(THM)耦合是目前研究的热点和难点。首先总结了裂隙岩体多场耦合的机制、模型、方法及研究内容,并通过分析裂隙对THM耦合的重要控制作用,提出了在THM耦合中考虑裂隙网络扩展演化及模拟的关键问题,同时指出了研究的3个关键点:(1)建立考虑裂隙网络演化的耦合模型;(2)裂隙扩展的数值模拟方法;(3)THM耦合及岩体变形、失稳全过程的数值模拟算法。随后通过对模拟多场耦合和裂隙扩展数值方法的归类比较,重点论述了目前适用于模拟多场耦合下裂隙扩展模拟的各种数值方法(包括有限单元法、无单元法、单位分解法、离散单元法、岩石破裂过程分析方法和数值流形方法)的优缺点,并通过对比研究,推荐采用数值流形方法(NMM)来实现对关键问题的模拟研究。最后,对研究思路和难点进行了初步探讨。刘泉声 刘学伟 2014岩土力学2014,35,2:40
11Quantitative and HPLC fingerprint analysis combined with chemometrics for quality evaluation of Codonopsis Radix processed with different methods显示文摘Objective: To observe the effect of different processing methods on the quality of Codonopsis Radix and provide data reference for the reasonable processing in the producing areas.Methods: An analytical strategy that combined quantitative and HPLC fingerprint analysis with chemometrics was developed for the quality evaluation of Codonopsis Radix. Lobetyolin, polysaccharide, sucrose,glucose, and fructose were detected simultaneously in Codonopsis Radix samples treated with different processing methods including dryer-drying, sun-drying, shade-drying, sulfur fumigation, and kneading,etc.Results: The results showed that different processing methods had an obvious impact on the quality of Codonopsis Radix. Sun-drying or shade-drying was recommended, and sulfur fumigation should be avoided. And dryer-drying at 40 °C-50 °C was suggested to meet the requirement for large scale processing. In addition, based on the content of polysaccharide, glucose, and fructose, it was advised to knead for three times. As for lobetyolin and sucrose, kneading should be avoided.Conclusions: Our findings demonstrated that processing method had a big impact on the quality of Codonopsis Radix. Based on the results, the appropriate processing methods directed at different requirements were recommended. 12A Review on Lower Limb Rehabilitation Exoskeleton Robots显示文摘Lower limb rehabilitation exoskeleton robots integrate sensing, control, and other technologies and exhibit the characteristics of bionics, robotics, information and control science, medicine, and other interdisciplinary areas. In this review, the typical products and prototypes of lower limb exoskeleton rehabilitation robots are introduced and stateof-the-art techniques are analyzed and summarized. Because the goal of rehabilitation training is to recover patients’ sporting ability to the normal level, studying the human gait is the foundation of lower limb exoskeleton rehabilitation robot research. Therefore, this review critically evaluates research progress in human gait analysis and systematically summarizes developments in the mechanical design and control of lower limb rehabilitation exoskeleton robots. From the performance of typical prototypes, it can be deduced that these robots can be connected to human limbs as wearable forms;further, it is possible to control robot movement at each joint to simulate normal gait and drive the patient’s limb to realize robot-assisted rehabilitation training. 13Experimental study of“Tong Xia”purgative method in ameliorating lung injury in acute necrotizing pancreatitis显示文摘AIM To investigate the role of tumor necrosisfactor(TNF)in lung injury during acutenecrotizing pancreatitis(ANP),and thetherapeutic effect of'Tong Xia'purgativemethod in minimizing the severity of lung injury.METHODS Fourteen canines were randomlydivided into 3 groups:the'Tong Xia'treatmentgroup(n = 5)using Dachengqitang;salinecontrol group(n = 5),and the sham operationgroup(n = 4).TNF activity in serum and inbronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF),the serumendotoxin levels were measured,and theseverity of lung injury evaluated.RESULTS Elevation of TNF activity was moreprominent in BALF than in serum.TNF activity inserum at 6 and 12 hours and in BALI:wassignificantly decreased in the'Tong Xia'treatment group than in the saline control one(q=21.11,q=12.07,q=9.03,respectively,P<0.01)and the lung injury was significantlyalleviated at 12 hours as compared with that inthe saline group,manifested as amelioration otthe lung wet/ dry weight ratio,decrease inprotein concentration and neutrophils count inBALF,and improvement of pulmonaryinflammatory changes.A positive correlationwas demonstrated between serum TNF activity and endotoxin level.CONCLUSION Hypersecretion of TNF is shownto be one of the major causes of lung injuryduring ANP;'Tong Xia'purgative method couldalleviate the degree of lung injury mediated byTNF.Xia Q Jiang JM Gong X Chen GY Li L Huang ZW 2000World Journal of Gastroenterology2000,6,1:31
14A semi-spring and semi-edge combined contact model in CDEM and its application to analysis of Jiweishan landslide显示文摘Continuum-based discrete element method(CDEM)is an explicit numerical method used for simulation of progressive failure of geological body.To improve the efficiency of contact detection and simplify the calculation steps for contact forces,semi-spring and semi-edge are introduced in calculation.Semispring is derived from block vertex,and formed by indenting the block vertex into each face(24semisprings for a hexahedral element).The formation process of semi-edge is the same as that of semi-spring(24semi-edges for a hexahedral element).Based on the semi-springs and semi-edges,a new type of combined contact model is presented.According to this model,six contact types could be reduced to two,i.e.the semi-spring target face contact and semi-edge target edge contact.By the combined model,the contact force could be calculated directly(the information of contact type is not necessary),and the failure judgment could be executed in a straightforward way(each semi-spring and semi-edge own their characteristic areas).The algorithm has been successfully programmed in C++program.Some simple numerical cases are presented to show the validity and accuracy of this model.Finally,the failure mode,sliding distance and critical friction angle of Jiweishan landslide are studied with the combined model.Chun Feng Shihai Li Xiaoyu Liu Yanan Zhang 2014Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2014,6,1:34
15Numerical modeling of concrete hydraulic fracturing with extended finite element method显示文摘The extended finite element method (XFEM) is a new numerical method for modeling discontinuity. Research about numerical modeling for concrete hydraulic fracturing by XFEM is explored. By building the virtual work principle of the fracture problem considering water pressure on the crack surface, the governing equations of XFEM for hydraulic fracture modeling are derived. Implementation of the XFEM for hydraulic fracturing is presented. 16甘草化学成分快速定性分析与化学模式识别研究显示文摘目的:采用超高效液相色谱-串联四极杆飞行时间质谱(UPLC-Q-TOF-MSE)建立甘草化学成分的快速定性分析方法,并采用超高效相色谱(UPLC)指纹图谱与化学模式识别结合进而分析72批次甘草间化学成分的差异性,为甘草的质量控制与评价提供实验依据。方法:运用时间依赖型MSE扫描方式采集甘草样品的质谱数据,快速鉴定甘草的主要化学成分,并采用Ward’s Method对UPLC指纹图谱数据进行探索性数据分析,获取分类信息,最后采用对偶传播人工神经网络分析不同分类组别的化学成分差异。结果:共鉴定了57个化合物,Ward’s Method分析将72批甘草样本区分为4组,利用对偶传播人工神经网络获取了甘草不同组别间的显著性差异成分。结论:本方法可以快速、全面实现甘草化学成分的定性分析,比较甘草间的化学成分差异性,为甘草质量等级标准的建立提供了参考依据。孙立丽 游广娇 任晓亮 王萌 邓雁如 2018中华中医药杂志2018,33,5:29

18Transition prediction of a hypersonic boundary layer over a cone at small angle of attack——with the improvement of e^N method显示文摘The problem of transition prediction for hypersonic boundary layers over a sharp cone has been studied in this work. The Mach number of the oncoming flow is 6, the cone half-angle is 5o,and the angle of attack is 1o. The conventional eN method is used, but the transition location so obtained is obviously incorrect. The reason is that in the conventional method, only the amplifying waves are taken into account, while in fact, for different meridians the decay processes of the disturbances before they begin to grow are different. Based on our own previous work, new interpretation and essential improvement for the eN method are proposed. Not only the amplification process but also the decay process is considered. The location, where by linear stability theory, the amplitude of disturbance wave is amplified from its initial small value to 1%, is considered to be the transition location. The new result for transition prediction thus obtained is found to be fairly satisfactory. It is also indicated that for the calculation of base flow, boundary layer equations can be used for a small angle of attack.
