Hydrothermal recrystallization of the Lower Ordovician dolomite and its significance to reservoir in northern Tarim Basin显示文摘Discovered in S15 and some other wells, the Lower Ordovician in the northern Tarim Basin consists mainly of brown gray-dark gray very fine-fine crystalline dolomite, with a minor portion of locally light gray-white medium-coarse crystalline dolomite. Silicification can be observed in the medium-coarse dolomite, and some euhedral drusy quartz can also be found in pores and fractures of the dolomite. The homogenization temperature of the fluid inclusions in the medium-coarse dolomite is between 110 and 200°C with maximum between 140 and 190°C, and the salinity is between 10.7 and 18.5 wt.% NaCl Eq. The homogenization temperature and salinity of the fluid inclusions in the medium-coarse dolomite are similar to those in the drusy quartz. Compared with the very fine-fine dolomite, the medium-coarse phase contains relatively high Fe and Mn. The average concentration of FeO and MnO in the medium-coarse dolomite is 1.917% and 0.323%, respectively. The medium-coarse dolomite has a remarkable negative Eu anomaly, consistent with the REE pattern of the intermediate-felsic igneous rocks in the Tarim Basin. The oxygen isotopic composition of the medium-coarse dolomite is relatively lighter than that of the very fine-fine dolomite. The δ18OPDB values of the medium-coarse dolomite are between -10.35‰ and -7.31‰. The δ18OSMOW values of the fluid associated with the medium-coarse dolomite can be calculated according to homogenization temperature and oxygen isotope fractionation factor between dolomite and fluid, and the calculated values are between +4‰ and +10‰, consistent with those of the hydrothermal fluid. The medium-coarse dolomite has relatively high 87Sr/86Sr ratios as well, indi- cating an origin associated with intermediate-felsic igneous rock. The homogenization temperature, element composition, REE pattern, oxygen and strontium isotopes demonstrate that the medium-coarse dolomite is the result of recrystallization of very fine-fine dolomite under hydrothermal environment. The hydrothermal dolomite recrystallization is a special event but exists extensively in the Tarim Basin. The recrystallized dolomite becomes well reservoir bed for many intercrystalline pores and dissolution pores are produced in this event, so that more attention should be paid to the altered dolomite during the petroleum exploration in the lower Paleozoic in the Tarim Basin.ZHU DongYa JIN ZhiJun HU WenXuan 2010Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,3:34
DYNAMIC RECOVERY AND DYNAMIC RECRYSTALLIZATION OF 7005 ALUMINIUM ALLOY DURING HOT COMPRESSION显示文摘Dynamic recovery and dynamic recrystallizatin behaviors of AA7005 aluminium alloy (Al - Zn - Mg) during hot compression are investigated by isothermal compression testing. The interdependence of flow stress, stress, strain rate, true strain and deformation temperature for the alloy is analyzed by introduc- ing Zener-Hollomon parameter. A steady - state flow of the 7005 alloy is confirmed to be a thermal- ly activated process.which is governed by rate-controlling mechanisms of dislocations.A hyperbolic sine relationship can satisfactorily correlate temperature, strain rate with flow stress through an Arrhe- nius term that involves thermal activation parameters. The dynamic recovery mechanisms of the alloy are discussed.Cross- slip of jogged screw dislocations is the main dynamic recovery mechanism over the deformation temperatures and strain rates.Subgrains are highly developed in the originally elongat- ed grains. The size of the subgrain increases with decrease of the natural logarithm of Zener- Hol - lomon parameter.Local dynamic recrystallization is operative when the alloy is deformed at temperature of 500℃ and strain rate of 0. 001s - 1.J. 3Analysis of Micro-texture during Secondary Recrystallization in a Hi-B Electrical Steel显示文摘The understanding of Goss texture in Hi-B electrical steels possesses significant industrial and academic value, thus attracts worldwide attention. The prevailing models for sharp Goss texture formation during secondary recrystallization are CSL (coincident site lattice) boundary theory and HE (high energy) boundary theory. These theories stress the key factor of preferred growth and the difference between them only lies in the specific selection manner. This work examined the texture gradient in primarily recrystallized sheet and demonstrated its possible influence on the formation of secondary grains, and then determined the micro- texture during different stages of secondary recrystallization using EBSD (electron back-scattered diffraction) technique, finally analyzed a special type of secondary grains with near Brass orientation, which were detected in the later stage of secondary recrystallization, and discussed its origin and effect in terms of surface energy effect. The results indicate that texture gradient in primarily recrystallized sheet will lead to a multi-stage formation of Goss texture, namely, early stage of secondary grains with various orientations in subsurface region, intermediate stage of preferred growth of Goss grains into center layer and re-grow back to the surface and the final stage of Goss grain growth by swallowing slowly the island grains with the help of H2 atmosphere.Mengqi Yan Hao Qian Ping Yang Weimin Mao Qiwu Jian Wenxu Jin 2011Journal of Materials Science & Technology2011,27,11:16
Dynamic recrystallization behavior of GH4169G alloy during hot compressive deformation显示文摘The microstructure evolutions and nucleation mechanisms of GH4169G alloy were studied by optical microscope, electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). The hot compression tests were performed different imposed reductions in the range of true strain from 0.12 to 1.2 at the temperatures of 930 °-1050 ° with strain rates of 0.01 s^-1-l s^-1. It is found that cumulative and local misorientation increase firstly and then decrease when the strain is increased due to the progress of dynamic recrystallization (DRX). The low angle boundaries (LAGBs) rapidly develop to high angle boundaries (HAGBs) at relatively high deformation temperature or the low strain rate. There are three DRX mechanisms observed for GH4169 G alloy during hot deformation. Discontinuous dynamic recrystallization (DDRX) as the dominant mechanism for GH4169 G alloy is characterized by typical necklace structures and bulged-original boundaries. Besides, different deformation bands with dislocation cells formed in deformed matrix at low temperature and large strain, which indicates that continuous dynamic recrystallization (CDRX) contributed to the DRX process. The twin boundaries lost their coherent characteristics and provide sites for nucleation, which also accelerates the nucleation of DRX.Dan Jia Wenru Sun Dongsheng Xu Fang Liu 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,9:13
INTERACTION OF PRECIPITATION AND RECRYSTALLIZATION IN RAPIDLY SOLIDIFIED Cu-Cr-Zr-Mg ALLOY显示文摘In this paper; the recrystallization process during aging for a rapidly solidified Cu-Cr-Zr-Mg alloy has been investigated. It is found that the discotinuous crystallization process has been partially retarded by the ultra-fine and dispersed precipitation upon aging after deformation. Thus, a phenomenon of combined in situ and discontinuous recrystallization has been observed in the rapidly solidified Cu-Cr-Zr-Mg alloy. On the nucleation and growth of recrystallization, the precipitated phases are coarscned and dissolved in the front of grain boundaries following a re-precipitation in the recrystallization area, which results in the much more dispersed precipitates.Liu, P. 6Stability of twins in Mg alloys-A short review显示文摘In this article, the stability of twins,especially{10–12}twins,in Mg alloys was critically reviewed. In the last decade,pre-twinning is considered to be an effective method for adjusting the microstructure and properties of wrought Mg alloys.Especially, formation of twin-texture can remarkably improve formability of rolled Mg alloys. However, the stability of{10–12}twins determines the effect of this method.Previous work revealed that initial{10–12}twins may either grow or shrink under further deformation, and may be removed by static recrystallization under thermal effect. It is considered that improving the stability of twin structure could enhance the contribution of twin-texture on subsequent plastic formability.Based on this background, stress stability and thermal stability of{10–12}twin structure were summarized and reviewed in this article. Finally,a few critical scientific problems in this research field were pointed out.©2020 Published by Elsevier B.V.on behalf of Chongqing University.Tingting Liu Qingshan Yang Ning Guo Yun Lu Bo Song 2020Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2020,8,1:10

Relationship of particle stimulated nucleation, recrystallization and mechanical properties responding to Fe and Si contents in hot-extruded 7055 aluminum alloys显示文摘The variations of coarse intermetallic particles in hot-extruded 7055 aluminum alloys with 0.041 wt%Fe and 0.024 wt%Si increasing to 0.272 wt%Fe and 0.134 wt%Si were investigated. The particle stimulated nucleation(PSN)behaviors for different kind of coarse particles were detailly analyzed by EBSD.Moreover, the effect of PSN responding to Fe and Si contents on recrystallization and tensile properties of 7055 alloys was evaluated. With increasing Fe and Si contents, the size and number density of coarseη/S particles are reduced, while the number densities of coarse Al7Cu2 Fe and Mg2Si particles are both increased and the coarse Al7Cu2 Fe particles transform from rod-like to irregular.More PSN recrystallized grains with predominant orientations deviated from the extruded fiber textures are stimulated by the irregular Al7Cu2 Fe and Mg2Si particles, because a higher degree of local non-uniform deformation is produced. The rod-like Al7Cu2 Fe particles cause the greatest degree of local non-uniform deformation owing to the largest aspect ratio, but the shape also restricts the area of particle deformation zone(PDZ)resulting in fewer PSN recrystallized grains. The irregularη/S particles give rise to the lowest degree of local non-uniform deformation and fewest PSN recrystallized grains with the major orientations close to the extruded fiber textures.Consequently, despite the number and size of coarseη/S particles are reduced, the proportion of high angle grain boundaries(HAGBs)is increased and the extruded fiber textures are weakened with Fe and Si contents increasing, because of the increased Al7Cu2 Fe and Mg2Si particles. The strength is slightly declined by the weakened<111>//ED(extrusion direction)fiber texture, while the elongation is reduced for a larger number of coarse particles and more HAGBs with higher Fe and Si contents.Huan She Da Shu Anping Dong Jun Wang Baode Sun Hongchang Lai 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,11:10
Deformation Behavior and Microstructure Evolution of Wrought Magnesium Alloys显示文摘There are many researches on the deformation behavior of wrought magnesium alloys, such as AZ31, AZ80, AZ91, and ZK60 magnesium alloys at different temperatures and strain rates, but few of them focuses on the deformation behavior of AZ41M and ZK60M alloys, especially under the twin-roll casting (TRC) state. Meanwhile, the existing researches only focus on the grain refinement law of the magnesium alloys under deformation conditions, the deformation mechanism has not been revealed yet. The hot compression behavior of AZ41M and ZK60M magnesium alloys under the temperature and strain rate ranges of 250-400 ℃ and 0.001-1 s-1 are studied by thermal simulation methods using Gleeble 1500 machine and virtual simulation using finite element analysis software. Simulation results show that sine hyperbolic law is the most suitable flow stress model for wider deformation conditions. The most reasonable selected deformation conditions of ZK60M alloy is 350 oC/0.1 s-1 for TRC and 350 oC/1 s-1 for conventional casting (CC), while AZ41M alloy is 300 oC/0.01 s-1 for TRC and 350 oC/0.1 s-1 for CC. Deformation behavior and dynamic recrystallization (DRX) mechanism of them are analyzed at the same deformation conditions. The microstructures of AZ41M and ZK60M alloys are observed at different deformed conditions by optical microscopy (OM) and electron back scatter diffraction (EBSD) and it reveals the flow behavior and deformation mechanism of them. Working harden and work soften contribute to the activation of basal, non-basal slip systems which promote DRX. The proposed research reveals the deformation behavior and mechanism of the AZ41M and ZK 60M magnesium alloys and concludes their optimized deformation parameters and processes and provides a theory basis for their manufacturing and application.WANG Shouren SONG Linghui KANG Sukbong CHO Jaehyung WANG Yingzi 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,3:9
Two-stage Hall-Petch relationship in Cu with recrystallized structure显示文摘Although Cu was studied extensively, the Hall-Petch relationship was mainly reported in the coarsegrained regime. In this work, fully recrystallized Cu specimens with a wide grain size regime of 0.51–14.93μm manifest a two-stage Hall-Petch relationship. There is a critical grain size of 3μm that divides stagesⅠandⅡwhere the Hall-Petch slope k value are quite different. The stageⅡis supposed to be validified down to 100 nm at least by comparing with a Cu-Ag alloy. The critical grain size varies in different materials systems, and the underline mechanisms are discussed based on the dislocation glide modes.Y.Z.Tian Y.P.Ren S.Gao R.X.Zheng J.H.Wang H.C.Pan Z.F.Zhang N.Tsuji G.W.Qin 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,13:8
Fatigue behavior of CoCrFeMnNi high-entropy alloy under fully reversed cyclic deformation显示文摘Bulk ultrafine-grained(UFG) CoCrFeMnNi high-entropy alloy(HEA) with fully recrystallized microstructure was processed by cold rolling and annealing treatment. The high-cycle fatigue behaviors of the UFG HEA and a coarse-grained(CG) counterpart were investigated under fully reversed cyclic deformation. The fatigue strength of the UFG HEA can be significantly enhanced by refining the grain size. 13The effect of Y,Ce and Gd on texture, recrystallization and mechanical property of Mg-Zn alloys显示文摘The effect of Gd,Ce and Y elements on texture, recrystallization and mechanical properties of Mg–1.5Zn alloys was investigated. The results show that the addition of Gd,Ce and Y elements in Mg–1.5Zn alloy, which rolled at 450℃ and subsequently annealed at 350℃ for 1h,can effectively weaken and modify the basal texture, characterized by the splitting basal pole toward to transverse direction, leading to the yield and tensile strength, the highest along the rolling direction and the lowest along the transverse direction.Besides, the unique basal texture contributes to the significant improvement of elongation at room temperature.Electron back scattering diffraction(EBSD)analysis indicated that the non-basal texture in Mg–1.5Zn–0.2RE alloys can be attributed to obstructive effect of static recrystallization and the non-basal orientation grains nucleation near pre-existing grain boundaries during annealing.Specially, the Mg–1.5Zn–0.2Gd sheet exhibits much excellent plasticity with the elongation of 27%than Mg–1.5Zn–0.2Ce and Mg–1.5Zn–0.2Y alloys, resulting from the less and smaller second phase of MgZnGd.Peng Liu Haitao Jiang Zhengxu Cai Qiang Kang Yun Zhang 2016Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2016,4,3:8
Texture control by {10-12} twinning to improve the formability of Mg alloys: A review显示文摘Texture control of wrought Mg alloys, particularly in rolled Mg alloy sheets, has been an important research topic for the past several decades because it has significant influence on stretch formability at room temperature. For Mg alloys, {10-12} twinning can be easily activated and causes a 86.3° lattice rotation. Thus, pre-twinning deformation is considered as an effective and low-cost method for texture control in wrought Mg and its alloys. Furthermore, it has been verified that texture control via pre-twinning deformation can remarkably improve stretch formability of rolled Mg alloy sheets. In this review, recent researches on texture control via twinning deformation and its influence on stretch formability will be critically reviewed. The main contents include the micro-mechanism and impact factors of control in twin-orientation, plastic processing techniques of pre-inducing twins and the application of pre-induced twins in improvement of stretch formability. Finally, further research directions on this field were proposed.Bo Song Qingshan Yang Tao Zhou Linjiang Chai Ning Guo Tingting Liu Shengfeng Guo Renlong Xin 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,10:8
Integral Recrystallization Modelling显示文摘We present models designed to represent the evolution of microstructure and crystallographic texture during recrystallization. For engineering applications the models are tied to a finite element approach. A connection to the deformed microstructure is established by dislocation theory of work hardening and Taylor type texture simulations. For temporal and spatial resolution a modified cellular automaton model was developed. A fast statistical approach for prediction of recrystallization kinetics and texture development discrete in time is presented. Predictions of the models are compared with experimental data.G. 16Modeling hot deformation behavior of low-cost Ti-2Al-9.2Mo-2Fe beta titanium alloy using a deep neural network显示文摘Ti-2 Al-9.2 Mo-2 Fe is a low-cost β titanium alloy with well-balanced strength and ductility, but hot working of this alloy is complex and unfamiliar. Understanding the nonlinear relationships among the strain, strain rate, temperature, and flow stress of this alloy is essential to optimize the hot working process. In this study, a deep neural network(DNN) model was developed to correlate flow stress with a wide range of strains(0.025–0.6), strain rates(0.01–10 s^-1) and temperatures(750–1000℃). The model, which was tested with 96 unseen datasets, showed better performance than existing models, with a correlation coefficient of 0.999. The processing map constructed using the DNN model was effective in predicting the microstructural evolution of the alloy. Moreover, it led to the optimization of hot-working conditions to avoid the formation of brittle precipitates(temperatures of 820–1000℃ and strain rates of 0.01-0.1 s^-1).Cheng-Lin Li P.L.Narayana N.S.Reddy Seong-Woo Choi Jong-Taek Yeom Jae-Keun Hong Chan Hee Park 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,5:7
Formation mechanism of large grains inside annealed microstructure of GH4169 superalloy by cellular automation method显示文摘In authors’ previous work [Mater. Charact. 141 (2018) 212-222]. it was found that the heterogeneous deformed microstructures can be replaced by the relatively homogeneous recrystallized grains through an annealing treatment. However, there are still some relatively large recrystallized grains. To find the reasons for the formation of large grains, some new annealing treatment tests were done, and the cellular automation (CA) simulations were carried out in the present work. The experimental results showed that the microstructural evolution during annealing treatment is significantly affected by the content of S phase. So. the effects of δ phase on the nucleation and growth of grains are carefully considered in the CA model to accurately simulate the microstructural evolution behavior. By the CA simulation, it is found that the dislocation density rapidly decreases due to the nucleation of static recrystallization (SRX) and the growth of dynamc recrystallization (DRX) nuclei at the early stage of annealing. The high initial dislocation density provide the high velocity for the growth of DRX nuclei, which is responsible for the formation of coarse grains, However, the growth rate of SRX nuclei is relatively small due to the low dislocation density and pinning effects of δ phase.Ming-Song Chen Zong-Huai Zou Y.C.Lin Hong-Bin Li Guan-Qiang Wang 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,7:7
Achieving strength-ductility synergy in cold spray additively manufactured Al/B4C composites through a hybrid post-deposition treatment显示文摘Cold spray additive manufacturing(CSAM) provides a potential solid state manufacturing route to fabricate variety of aluminum matrix composites(AMCs) with reduced possibility of undesired chemical reactions and residual thermal stresses. This study presents a hybrid(i.e. hot compression + hot rolling)post-deposition treatment to reinvigorate the mechanical properties of cold spray additively manufactured Al/B4 C composites. The as-deposited samples were initially subjected to 30% thickness reduction via hot compression treatment at 500°C followed by a hot rolling treatment with 40% thickness reduction in 2 passes. Electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM) results revealed that after hybrid post-deposition treatment(involving 70%accumulative thickness reduction), the aluminum grains in the matrix were extensively refined due to simultaneous operation of continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX) and geometric dynamic recrystallization(GDRX). Furthermore, interfacial defects were remarkably reduced while the nature of Al/Al and Al/B4C interfacial bonding was changed from sheer mechanical interlocking to metallurgical bonding which facilitated efficient transference of applied load to uniformly dispersed bimodal B4C particles. As a result, ultimate tensile strength(UTS) and elongation(EL) of the as-deposited sample were simultaneously improved from 37 to 185 MPa and 0.3% to 6.2%, respectively.Naeem ul Haq Tariq Lawrence Gyansah Xiang Qiu Chunnijia Hasan Bin Awais Chengwu Zheng Hao Du Jiqiang Wang Tianying Xiong 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,6:7
Microstructure evolution of spray deposited and as-cast 2195 Al-Li alloys during homogenization显示文摘In this paper,a comparative study on the spray deposited and as-cast 2195 alloy was carried out to reveal their microstructure evolutions and differences during the homogenization process. The dissolution of the secondary particles and the diffusion of solute were studied based on microstructure characterization and kinetics analysis. The precipitation behavior of Al3Zr dispersoids and its influence on recrystallization were investigated by using TEM and EBSD characterization. It was found that the large-size particles at triangular grain boundaries dissolve slower than the intragranular phases and other grain boundary phases. The required homogenization time depends on the dissolution processes of the large-size phases at grain boundaries. The size of grain boundary phases in the spray deposited alloy is much smaller than that in the as-cast alloy,so the homogenization time required for the spray deposited alloy is significantly shorter.Two-stage and ramp heating homogenization processes can promote the precipitation of Al3Zr dispersoids in the two alloys. In the spray deposited alloy, the dispersoids tend to precipitate at the positions of the T1 plates dissolved, which causes a non-uniform distribution and decreases the recrystallization resistance of the alloy. However, the distribution of the dispersoids in the as-cast alloy is more uniform after the homogenization, which brings a stronger inhibition on the recrystallization.According to the microstructural characterization and kinetics analysis results,it can be concluded that the homogenization with a slow ramp heating is suitable for the two 2195 alloys, and a shorter holding time can be used for spray deposited alloy,e.g.12 h at 500℃,while the holding time for the as-cast alloy is no less than 35 h at 500℃.Yongxiao Wang Xinwu Ma Guoqun Zhao Xiao Xu Xiaoxue Chen Cunsheng Zhang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,23:7
Dynamic recrystallization behavior of 35CrMo structural steel显示文摘The dynamic recrystallization behavior of 35CrMo steel was studied with compression test in the temperature range of 1 223 1 423 K and the strain rate range of 0.01 10.00 s -1 . The initiation and evolution of dynamic recrystallization were investigated with microstructure analysis and then the critical strain ε c for dynamic recrystallization initiation, the strain for maximum softening rate ε * and the steady strain ε s were obtained to be 2.92×10 -3 Z 0.1381 , 1.60×10 -3 Z 0.178 0 and 3.26×10 -2 × Z 0.097 2 respectively by analysis of work hardening rate strain θ ε curves, where Z is the Zener Hollomon parameter. The dynamic recrystallization fraction was determined using recrystallization theory, and the effects of initial grain size, strain rate and deformated temperature on the dynamic recrystallization kinetics were investigated. The results show: X DRX =1- exp(-3.23( ε-ε cε s-ε c ) 2.28 ), the dynamic recrystallization fraction is slightly delayed due to the somewhat larger initial grain size and markedly delayed with the decrease of temperature. On the other hand, it is significantly accelerated with the increase of the strain rate. Finally, the relationships between the initiation time, ending time of dynamic recrystallization and the deformed temperature were analyzed in detail.张斌 张鸿冰 阮雪榆 2003Journal of Central South University of Technology2003,10,1:6
