1Gastrin,somatostatin,and experimental disturbance of the gastrointestinal tract in rats显示文摘INTRODUCTIONThe field of gastrointestinal hormones has expanded at a dizzying rate[1-4].Gastrointestinal hormones as regulatory peptides that appear to be major components of bodily integration and have important regulatory actions on physioligical function of the gastrointestinal tract .The successful isolation of some gastrointestinal hormones and the development of sensitive methods for their detection have led to the unexpected finding that they also exist in the brain .Yong Li Yao~1 Bo Xu~2 Wan Dai Zhang~1 Yu Gang Song~1 ~1Institute of Gastrointestinal Diseases,Nanfang Hospital,First Military Medical University,Guangzhou 510515,Guangdong Province,China ~2Department of Orthopedics Nanfang Hospital,First Military Medical University,Guangzhou 510515,Guangdong Province,ChinaYong Li Yao graduated from First Military Mcdical University with a master degree in 1998.She now works in the Institute of Gastrointestinal Diseases,Nanfang Hospital as a doctoral candidate majoring gastrointestinal diseases and gastrointestinal hormones, she has published 8 papers. 2001World Journal of Gastroenterology2001,7,3:12
2Seasonal and reproductive variation in chemical constituents of scent signals in wild giant pandas显示文摘Seasonally reproducing animals show many behavioral and physiological changes during the mating period, including increased signaling for intrasexual competition and mate attraction. We collected 102 anogenital gland secretions(AGS) from marking trees in Foping Nature Reserve, and used gas chromatography mass spectrometry to analyze these chemical composition. Of these marks, all but one were from males, confirmed with DNA analysis. We found that several chemical constituents, especially volatile compounds, were present only during the mating season and that the relative abundance of many compounds changed as a function of breeding season, whereas nonvolatile compounds were lower in the mating season. This seasonal variation in chemical composition of AGS most likely plays an important role in governing giant panda reproduction, including mate location, attraction, and male-male competition. The chemical properties of many of these putative chemosignals—such as volatility and longevity—are suggestive of these roles, and undoubtedly contribute to successful reproduction for this species with a characteristically sophisticated chemical communication system. We also found a number of important differences between the chemical constituents of AGS from wild pandas and those found in previous studies with captive pandas, suggesting that inappropriate chemosignal composition may contribute to poor reproductive success in captive breeding programs.Wenliang Zhou Yonggang Nie Yibo Hu Ronald R.Swaisgood Yaohua Zhang Dingzhen Liu Fuwen Wei 2019Science China(Life Sciences)2019,62,5:6
3New insights into the pathogenesis of intestina dysfunction:secretory diarrhea and cystic fibrosis显示文摘INTRODUCTIONA major function of the intestinal epithelium is to controlthe amount of fluid entering into and being absorbed fromthe lumen. In healthy conditions, net fluid movementfollows an absorptive vector, although significant secretionalso takes place to subserve digestive function. Thus。Kim E.
