2^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar dating of shear deformation of the Xianshuihe fault zone in west Sichuan and its tectonic significance显示文摘Based on field geological survey, structural measurements and classical Ar/Ar dating of mica, biotite and K-feldspar, we obtain cooling ages for Miocene left-lateral shear along the Xianshuihe fault zone. The results document two thermal events during the sinistral shear. The early event (12-10 Ma) corresponds to rapid cooling of the Zheduoshan granitic massif from above 700℃ to below 350℃. The late event (5-3.5 Ma) corresponds to cooling of granites intruded along the eastern side of the fault zone. 3^(40)Ar-^(39)Ar thermochronology of two ductile shear zones from Yiwulüshan,West Liaoning Region: Age constraints on the Mesozoic tectonic events显示文摘Two ductile shear zones trending EW and NNE respectively not only controlled the tectonic framework of the northern North China, but also constrained the geody-namic background for gold mineralization in this region. Field observations and microstructural analyses reveal that the EW trending ductile shear zones are mainly contributed to dextral compressional deformation resulting from top-to-the-southeast oblique thrust shearing, whereas the NNE trending ones are genetically related to sinistral strike-slip and extensional faulting. One sample from the former yielded an 40Ar-39Ar plateau age of (219±4) Ma (Bi) and two samples from the latter gave 40Ar-39Ar plateau ages of (116± 2) Ma (Bi) and (127±3) Ma (Bi). 4基于DSR的改性沥青及混合料动态黏弹性能显示文摘为了在相似加载条件下比较改性沥青及混合料的动态黏弹性能,选择4种不同特点的改性沥青,成型了混合料小梁试件.应用动态剪切流变仪(DSR)分别进行了不同温度下的频率扫描试验,根据时间-温度等效原理构建了改性沥青及混合料的流变主曲线,对主曲线形态和流变模型拟合结果进行了对比分析.研究表明:改性沥青及混合料的复数剪切模量主曲线形态相似,采用改进型CAM模型进行拟合的效果很好,相关系数在0.996以上;平衡复数剪切模量G*e可用来区分不同类型改性沥青及其混合料的高温性能;高强改性沥青的高温抗车辙性能明显优于其他改性沥青,但软化点和60℃动力黏度不适用于评价高强改性沥青.改性沥青的动态力学响应能够反映其混合料的黏弹性能.郭咏梅 倪富健 2014东南大学学报(自然科学版)2014,44,2:22
5桐柏地区高压变质地体在地壳中的抬升机制显示文摘桐柏杂岩位于秦岭与大别造山带之间,南北两侧为NWW-SEE向延伸的含榴辉岩高压变质地体,其构造就位过程及其与高压变质地体的构造关系为地质学家们所关注。本文研究表明,所谓的桐柏杂岩实际上是一个早白垩世花岗质片麻岩杂岩体,其内包裹一定数量的三叠纪中高级变质岩石。桐柏杂岩南北两条边界韧性剪切带具有相反的运动学指向,分别为大型右行和左行韧性剪切带,其形成时代为131Ma。这两条韧性剪切带中的剪切面理分别朝SSW和NNE向倾斜,韧性剪切带及杂岩体内部发育的拉伸线理均稳定地朝SEE方向缓倾伏。而在杂岩体的东端发育低角度近南北向韧性剪切变形带,其糜棱面理朝SEE方向低角度缓倾斜,矿物拉伸线理也朝SEE方向低角度缓倾伏,运动学标志指示东侧地质体朝295°~310°的方向逆冲。因此,桐柏杂岩实际上被一个顺造山带的韧性剪切带所围限,这个韧性剪切带及杂岩体内部韧性变形运动学指示了一个早白垩世由东向西的低角度抬升过程,而这一过程直接导致了含榴辉岩高压变质地体沿着造山带的方向从地壳深部抬升到近地表。这一研究结果对理解和认识桐柏-大别-苏鲁地区高压-超高压变质地体的晚期抬升过程具有重要意义。崔建军 胡健民 刘晓春 2009岩石学报2009,25,9:21
6^(40)Ar-^(39)Ar ages of the Louzidian-Dachengzi ductile shear zone near Chifeng,Inner Mongolia and their tectonic significance显示文摘The Louzidian normal fault occurs as the eastern detachment fault of the Kalaqin metamorphic core complex. Field observations and microstructural analyses reveal that the Louzidian-Dachengzi ductile shear zone developed in its lower-plate was genetically related to sinistral strike-slips and extensional faulting. Two samples from this ductile shear zone yield 40Ar-39Ar plateau ages of 133 Ma (Bi) and 126 Ma (Kp), which are concordant with their isochron ages. The plateau age of 133 Ma (Bi) records the formation age of the ductile shear zone. The inconsistent relationship between the earlier strike-slip ductile shear zone and the later normal fault makes the Kalaqin Quasi-metamorphic core complex distinctive from Cordil-leran nietamorphic core complex. 7Elastography-based screening for esophageal varices in patients with advanced chronic liver disease显示文摘Elastography-based liver stiffness measurement(LSM) is a non-invasive tool for estimating liver fibrosis but also provides an estimate for the severity of portal hypertension in patients with advanced chronic liver disease(ACLD). The presence of varices and especially of varices needing treatment(VNT) indicates distinct prognostic stages in patients with compensated ACLD(cACLD). The Baveno VI guidelines suggested a simple algorithm based on LSM < 20 kPa(by transient elastography, TE) and platelet count > 150 G/L for ruling-out VNT in patients with cACLD. These(and other) TE-based LSM cut-offs have been evaluated for VNT screening in different liver disease etiologies. Novel point shear-wave elastography(pSWE) and two-dimensional shear wave elastography(2D-SWE) methodologies for LSM have also been evaluated for their ability to screen for 'any' varices and for VNT. Finally, the measurement of spleen stiffness(SSM) by elastography(mainly by pSWE and 2D-SWE) may represent another valuable screening tool for varices. Here, we summarize the current literature on elastography-based prediction of 'any' varices and VNT. 8Strain and shear types of the Louzidian ductile shear zone in southern Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, China显示文摘The Louzidian ductile shear zone at the south of Chifeng strikes NE-SW and dips SE at low-medium- angles. This ductile shear zone is mainly composed of granitic mylonite, which grades structurally upward into a chloritized zone, a microbreccia zone, a brittle fault and a gouge zone. All these zones share similar planar attitudes, but contain different linear attitudes and kinematic indicators. Finite strain measurements were performed on feldspar porphyroclasts using the Fry method. These meas- urements yield Fulin indexes of 1.25―3.30, Lode's parameters of -0.535―-0.112 and strain parameters of 0.41―0.75 for the protomylonite, respectively. These data are plotted within the apparent constric- tional field in Fulin and Hossack diagrams. In contrast, for the mylonite, corresponding parameters are 0.99―1.43, -0.176―-0.004 and 0.63―0.82, respectively, and located in the apparent constrictional field close to the plane strain. The mean kinematic vorticity numbers of the protomylonite and mylonite by using three methods of polar Mohr circle, porphyroclast hyperbolic and oblique foliation, are in the range of 0.67―0.95, suggesting that the ductile shearing is accommodated by general shearing that is dominated by simple shear. Combination of the finite strain and kinematic vorticity indicates that shear type was lengthening shear and resulted in L-tectonite at the initial stage of deformation and the shear type gradually changed into lengthening-thinning shear and produced L-S-tectonite with the uplifting of the shear zone and accumulating of strain. 9The Instability of the Vortex Sheet along the Shear Line显示文摘The traditional Kelvin-Helmholtz notion of studying the shear instability is not suitable for the case associated with shear line with the strong wind shear in the vortex sheet. Since then. the shear instability becomes the instability of the vortex sheet. If the velocity is induced by the vortex sheet. the inequalities (l - R_r + Ri_d )> 0 and U(v.t)> U(A(t)) become the criterion of the vortex sheet instability. This criterion indicates that 1) the disposition of environment field restrains the disturbance developing along the shear line. 2) There exist multi-scale interactions in the unstable process of the shear line. 11Variations of shear wave splitting in the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake region显示文摘Through the analysis of S-wave particle motion of local events in the shear wave window, the polariza-tion directions of the faster shear wave and the delay times between the faster and the slower shear waves were derived from seismic recordings at the stations near the fault zones. The shear wave split-ting results of seven stations in the area of Longmenshan fault zone reveal spatial variation of the po-larization directions of the fast shear wave. The directions at stations in the southeastern side of the Longmenshan fault zone (in the Sichuan Basin area) are in the NE direction, whereas the direction at station PWU (in the Plateau), which is in the northwestern side of the faults, is in the EW direction. Systematic changes of the time delays between two split shear waves were also observed. At station L5501 in the southern end of the aftershock zone, the delay times of the slower shear wave decrease systematically after the main shock. After the main shock, the delay times at station PWU were longer than those before the earthquake. Seismic shear wave splitting is caused mostly by stress-aligned microcracks in the rock below the stations. The results demonstrate changes of local stress field dur-ing the main-shock and the aftershocks. The stress in the southern part of Wenchuan seismogenic zone was released by the main-shock and the aftershocks. 12Shear Alteration, Mass Transfer and Gold Mineralization: An Example from Jiaodong Ore Deposit Concentrating Area, Shandong, China显示文摘Taking the gold ore deposit concentrating area of Jiaodong area in Shandong, China for an example, based on geological analysis, and applying Gresens’ equation, Grant’s isocon diagram and O’hara microelement calculation method, a thorough study on shear alteration, mass transfer and gold mineralization was carried out. The authors also made mathematic simulation and geochemical analysis. The work reveals temporal spatial changing regularities of temperature field and velocity field of fluids, and also reveals fluid transport chemical reaction coupling metallogenic dynamics of the Jiaojia gold ore concentrating area. During shear alteration process of the Jiaodong gold ore concentrating area, all kinds of components transferred with different amounts, fluid rock ratio was rather high and volume strain was of dilation type. Fast flow of ore forming fluid favors the occurrence of mixed fluid. Shear fractured zones are places where there was strong transportation reaction coupling mineralization. Ore bodies were located in dilation space of shear structure where there was the greatest fluid flux. After the emplacement of the rock body, a convex heat field was formed around the rock body. It is one of the main metallogenic forces. The major reason for mineralization is the mobilization, migration and enrichment of ore forming elements induced by shear compressive extensional tectonism. 14Strain and kinematic vorticity analysis:An indicator for sinistral transpressional strain-partitioning along the Lancangjiang shear zone,western Yunnan,China显示文摘This work deals with the preliminary relationship between strain path and strain partitioning pattern in a sinistral transpressional zone,Lancangjiang shear zone,located to the southeast of Tibet.Various ductile rocks provide an opportunity to investigate quantitative finite strain(Rs),kinematic vorticity values(Wm),and proportions of simple and pure shear components.The mean kinematic vorticity values(Wm) were evaluated based on three methods,such as Rs-θ,prophyroclast hyperbolic distribution method(PHD),and polar Mohr diagram construction(PMD).Wm for mylonitic metasediments of the low-grade schist belt ranged from 0.19 to 0.54.Protomylonites,mylonites,and ultramylonites recorded differential Wm values,0.19―0.73,0.11―0.8,and 0.84―0.95(even 0.99) respectively in the high-grade gneiss belt.Based on classical strain analysis and these kinematic vorticity evaluations,the shear zone is classified as a preliminarily bulk monoclinic symmetry.The pattern of vorticity path suggests that a previously undocumented transpressional setting and strain partitioning pattern in the southeast region of Tibet Plateau,characterized by steep-narrow domain of simple-shearing(Tertiary strike-slip shearing) deformation and wider domain of mostly pure-shearing(Tertiary contraction) to accommo-date intracontinental deformation.Bo Zhang JinJiang Zhang DaLai Zhong Lei Guo 2009Science China Earth Sciences2009,52,5:16
15Quantitative and noninvasive assessment of chronic liver diseases using two-dimensional shear wave elastography显示文摘Two-dimensional shear wave elastography(2D-SWE) is a rapid, simple and novel noninvasive method that has been proposed for assessing hepatic fibrosis in patients with chronic liver diseases(CLDs) based on measurements of liver stiffness. 2 D-SWE can be performed easily at the bedside or in an outpatient clinic and yields immediate results with good reproducibility. Furthermore, 2 D-SWE was an efficient method for evaluating liver fibrosis in small to moderately sized clinical trials. However, the quality criteria for the staging of liver fibrosis are not yet well defined. Liver fibrosis is the main pathological basis of liver stiffness and a key step in the progression from CLD to cirrhosis; thus, the management of CLD largely depends on the extent and progression of liver fibrosis. 2 D-SWE appears to be an excellent tool for the early detection of cirrhosis and may have prognostic value in this context. Because 2 D-SWE has high patient acceptance, it could be useful for monitoring fibrosis progression and regression in individual cases. However, multicenter data are needed to support its use. 16Management of distal humeral coronal shear fractures显示文摘Coronal shear fractures of the distal humerus are rare,complex fractures that can be technically challenging to manage. They usually result from a low-energy fall and direct compression of the distal humerus by the radial head in a hyper-extended or semi-flexed elbow or from spontaneous reduction of a posterolateral subluxation or dislocation. Due to the small number of soft tissue attachments at this site, almost all of these fractures are displaced. The incidence of distal humeral coronal shear fractures is higher among women because of the higher rate of osteoporosis in women and the difference in carrying angle between men and women. Distal humeral coronal shear fractures may occur in isolation, may be part of a complex elbow injury, or may be associated with injuries proximal or distal to the elbow. An associated lateral collateral ligament injury is seen in up to 40% and an associated radial head fracture is seen in up to 30% of these fractures. Given the complex nature of distal humeral coronal shear fractures, there is preference for operative management. Operative fixation leads to stable anatomic reduction, restores articular congruity, and allows initiation of early range-of-motion movements in the majority of cases. Several surgical exposure and fixation techniques are available to reconstruct the articular surface fol owing distal humeral coronal shear fractures. The lateral extensile approach and fixation with countersunk headless compression screws placed in an anterior-to-posterior fashion are commonly used. We have found a two-incision approach(direct anterior and lateral) that results in less soft tissue dissection and better outcomes than the lateral extensile approach in our experience. 17Enhancing mechanical behaviors of collapsible soil using two biopolymers显示文摘This study aims to investigate the possibility of using biopolymer(environmental friendly material) to enhance the mechanical behaviors of collapsible soil.Two types of biopolymers were(xanthan gum and guar gum) used in this study due to their stable behaviors under severe conditions and their availability with reasonable prices.The experimental program focused on three major soil properties,i.e.compaction characterizations,collapsible potential and shear parameters.These three properties are essential in process of soil improvement.Different biopolymer concentrations were used in this study and the experimental program was performed at two curing periods(soon after mixing the soil with the biopolymer and after one week curing time).Shear parameters were measured for the treated specimens under both soaked and unsoaked conditions,while a collapsible potential test was performed under different mixing conditions(wet mix and dry mix).A numerical model was built to predict the behavior of the treated collapsible soil after and before water immersing.The results indicated that the ability of both xanthan gum and guar gum can be used as improvement materials for collapsible soil treatment.The collapsible potential has been reduced from 9%to 1%after mixing the soil with 2%biopolymer concentration in the wet case.After one week curing,the cohesion has been increased from 8.5 kPa to105 kPa by increasing the xanthan gum concentration from zero to 2%,leading to an overall improvement in soil shear strength.It also proves that the guar gum is superior to the xanthan gum.The shear strength of soil can be increased by about 30%when using the guar gum in comparison with the xanthan gum at the same conditions;however,the collapsible potential of soil material will be reduced by about 20%.Mohamed Ayeldeen Abdelazim Negm Mostafa El-Sawwaf Masaki Kitazume 2017Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2017,9,2:14
18Water contents and deformation mechanism in ductile shear zone of middle crust along the Red River fault in southwestern China显示文摘Using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), we measured water contents of quartz and feldspar for four thin sections of felsic mylonite and two thin sections of banded granitic gneiss col- lected from a ductile shear zone of middle crust along the Red Rivers-Ailaoshan active fault. The ab- sorbance spectra and peak position suggest that water in quartz and feldspar of granitic gneiss and felsic mylonite occurs mainly as hydroxyl in crystal defect, but also contains inclusion water and grain boundary water. The water contents of minerals were calculated based on the absorbance spectra. Water content of feldspar in granitic gneiss is 0.05 wt%-0.15 wt%, and that of quartz 0.03 wt%-0.09 wt%. Water content of feldspar ribbon and quartz ribbon in felsic mylonite is 0.095 wt%-0.32 wt%, and those of fine-grained feldspar and quartz are 0.004 wt%-0.052 wt%. These data show that the water content of weakly deformed feldspar and quartz ribbons is much higher than that of strongly deformed fine-grained feldspar and quartz. 19Theoretical and experimental study on relationship between stress-strain and temperature variation显示文摘Principle on temperature response to the stress-strain variation is fundamental to the relationship between thermal radiation variation and stress-strain field. Current research indicates that temperature has a sensitive response to rock deformation under the condition of normal temperature background. However, the basic physical relationship between deformation and temperature variation is not clear and need to be investigated further. In this paper, principle on temperature response to stress-strain variation is studied in detail, based on thermodynamics, elastic strain theory, and experiments on both ideal material and rock. In the stage of elastic deformation, results indicate that: 1) temperature increment is positively correlated with volume strain variation. Temperature rises with hydrostatic pressure increase. In other words, temperature rises when the specimen is under the compressive state whereas temperature drops under the tensile state. 2) Pure shear deformation does not contribute to tempera- ture variation. Namely, shape change of specimen does not produce temperature variation. However, there exist the relative tensile area and the compressive one in the specimen under the state of pure shear. 20Effect of the cooling rate on plastic deformability of a Zr-based bulk metallic glass显示文摘The present work found the plastic deformability of Zr65Cu17.5Ni10Al7.5 BMG dependent on the cooling rate during the formation from the molten state alloy. The deformation behavior in the compression test of φ 2 mm Zr65Cu17.5Ni10Al7.5 BMGs as-cast or lathed from different sizes as-cast samples was characterized, and they exhibited different plastic strains. The compressive plastic strain increases with the decreasing diameter of the as-cast specimens, i.e. with increasing the cooling rate.
