An effective and practical method for solving an unnegligible problem inherent in the current calculation model for multi-support seismic analysis of structures显示文摘In the seismic analysis of extended structures subject to spatially varying motions, the displacement input model instead of acceleration model is usually adopted for accurate results. In this paper, a more detailed and comprehensive analysis of the displacement input model is carried out and the research shows that there exists an unnegligible problem in the current displacement model, which leads to the irrationality and unconvergence of some calculated results such as base shear etc. Based on the situation, an effective method named massless rigid element (MRE) method is presented to solve the problem. Moreover, the rationality and accuracy of the method are further assessed and the method is applied to a transmission tower-line system project using the commercially available structural analysis software SAP2000. The theoretical and numerical analyses indicate that the MRE approach is not only feasible with sufficient computational accuracy but also practical and can be easily implemented using the commercially available finite element software such as SAP2000.LIU GuoHuan2, GUO Wei1 & LI HongNan2 1 National Engineering Laboratory for High Speed Railway Construction, School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Central South University, Changsha 410075, China 2 Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, Dalian 116024, China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,7:12
Dynamic subsidence prediction of ground surface above salt cavern gas storage considering the creep of rock salt显示文摘A new model is proposed to predict the dynamic subsidence of ground surface above salt cavern gas storage during the leaching and storage, which takes into account the creep of rock salt. In the model, the extended form of Gaussian curve is adopted to figure out the shape of subsidence areas. The corresponding theoretical formulas are derived. In addition, parameters are studied to investigate the surface subsidence as a function of the salt ejection rate, internal pressure, buried depth, diameter, height, running time, etc. Through an example, the subsidence of the salt cavern gas storage located at Jiangsu of China obtained by the new model was compared with those by Peter A F formula, Schober & Sroka formula and FLAC3D through simulation. The results showed the proposed model is precise and correct, and can meet the actual engineering demands. The surface subsidence is equidirectional with the increase of salt ejection rate, depth, diameter, height, and running time, but reverse to the increase of internal pressure. The depth, diameter, running time and internal pressure have great effects on the subsidence, whereas the salt ejection rate and height have little influences on it.WANG TongTao1, YAN XiangZhen1, YANG XiuJuan1 & YANG HengLin2 1 College of Pipeline and Civil Engineering, China University of Petroleum, Qingdao 266555, China 2 CNPC Drilling Research Institute, Beijing 100097, China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,12:8

A corrected particle method with high-order Taylor expansion for solving the viscoelastic fluid flow显示文摘In this paper, a corrected particle method based on the smoothed particle hydrodynamics(SPH) method with high-order Taylor expansion(CSPH-HT) for solving the viscoelastic flow is proposed and investigated. The validity and merits of the CSPH-HT method are first tested by solving the nonlinear high order Kuramoto-Sivishinsky equation and simulating the drop stretching, respectively. Then the flow behaviors behind two stationary tangential cylinders of polymer melt, which have been received little attention, are investigated by the CSPH-HT method. Finally, the CSPH-HT method is extended to the simulation of the filling process of the viscoelastic fluid. The numerical results show that the CSPH-HT method possesses higher accuracy and stability than other corrected SPH methods and is more reliable than other corrected SPH methods.T. Jiang J. L. Ren W. 5Inverse Calculation of Wave-Absorbing Structure Dimensions Based on Extended ANFIS Model显示文摘A new wave energy dissipation structure is proposed, aiming to optimize the dimensions of the structure and make the reflection of the structure maintain a low level within the scope of the known frequency band. An optimal extended ANFIS model combined with the wave reflection coefficient analysis for the estimation of the structure dimensions is established. In the premise of lower wave reflection coefficient, the specific sizes of the structure are obtained inversely, and the contribution of each related parameter on the structural reflection performance is analyzed. The main influencing factors are determined. It is found that the optimal dimensions of the proposed structure exist, which make the wave absorbing performance of the structure reach a perfect status under a wide wave frequency band.TIAN Zheng-lin SUN Zhao-chen LIANG Shu-xiu WANG Xing-gang 2018China Ocean Engineering2018,32,5:1
Nuclear matter and neutron star properties with the extendedNambu-Jona-Lasinio model显示文摘An extended Nambu-Jona-Lasinio(eNJL) model with nucleons as the degrees of freedom is used to investigate properties of nuclear matter and neutron stars(NSs),including the binding energy and symmetry energy of the nuclear matter, the core-crust transition density, and mass-radius relation of NSs. The fourth-order symmetry energy at saturation density is also investigated. When the bulk properties of nuclear matter at saturation density are used to determine the model parameters, the double solutions of parameters are obtained for a given nuclear incompressibility. It is shown that the isovector-vector interaction has a significant influence on the nuclear matter and NS properties, and the sign of isovector-vector coupling constant is critical in the determination of the trend of the symmetry energy and equation of state. The effects of the other model parameters and symmetry energy slope at saturation density are discussed.陈晏军 2019Chinese Physics C2019,43,3:1
Control of the common rail pressure in gasoline engines through an extended state observer based MPC显示文摘In this paper,a model predictive control(MPC)solution, assisted by extended state observer(ESO),is proposed for the common rail pressure control in gasoline engines. The rail pressure dynamic, nonlinear with large uncertainty,is modeled as a simple first order system. The discrepancy of the model from the real plant is lumped as'total disturbance',to be estimated in real-time by ESO and the n mitigated in the nonlin ear MPC,assuming the total disturbance does not change in the prediction horiz on.The non linear MPC problem is solved using the Newton/generalized minimum residual(GMRES)algorithm. The proposed ESO-MPC solution,is compared with the conventional proportional-integral-differential(PID)controller,based on the high-fidelity model provided in the benchmark problem in IFAC-E-CoSM.Results show the following benefits from using ESO-MPC relative to PID(benchmark):1)the disturbance rejection capability to fuel inject pulse step is improved by 12%in terms of recovery time;2)the transient response of rail pressure is improved by 5%in terms of the integrated absolute tracking error;and 3)the robustness is improved without n eed for gain scheduling, which is required in PID.Additionally,in creasing the ban dwidth of ESO allows reducing the complexity of the model implemented in MPC,while maintaining the disturbance rejection performance at the cost of high noise-sensitivity.Therefore,the ESO-MPC combination offers a simpler and more practical solution for common rail pressure control, relative to the standard MPC,which is consistent with the findings in simulation.Chao WU Kang SONG Hui XIE 2019Control Theory and Technology2019,17,2:1
Simulation of cohesive crack growth by a variable-node XFEM显示文摘A new computational approach that combines the extended finite element method associated with variable-node elements and cohesive zone model is developed.By using a new enriched technique based on sign function, the proposed model using 4-node quadrilateral elements can eliminate the blending element problem. It also allows modeling the equal stresses at both sides of the crack in the crack-tip as assumed in the cohesive model, and is able to simulate the arbitrary crack-tip location. The multiscale mesh technique associated with variable-node elements and the arc-length method further improve the efficiency of the developed approach. The performance and accuracy of the present approach are illustrated through numerical experiments considering both mode-I and mixed-mode fracture in concrete.Weihua FANG Jiangfei WU Tiantang YU Thanh-Tung NGUYEN Tinh Quoc BUI 2020Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2020,14,1:0
Nuclear Dynamics at the Particle Threshold显示文摘Recently, new low-energy modes of excitation called pygmy resonances have been observed.Their distinct feature is the close connection to nuclear skin oscillations. A successful description of the pygmy resonances could be achieved in a microscopic theoretical approach which incorporates the density functional theory and QRPA formalism extended with multi-phonon degrees of freedom. The latter is found of crucial importance for the understanding of the fine structure of nuclear electric and magnetic excitations at low energies. Corresponding microscopic multi-phonon response functions are implemented in the studies of s-process of nucleosynthesis.Nadia Tsoneva Horst Lenske 2015原子核物理评论2015,32,2:0
Pion Effect of Nuclear Matter in a Chiral Sigma Model显示文摘We develop a new framework for the study of the nuclear matter based on the linear sigma model. We introduce a completely new viewpoint on the treatment of the nuclear matter with the inclusion of the pion. We extend the relativistic chiral mean field model by using the similar method in the tensor optimized shell model. We also regulate the pion-nucleon interaction by considering the form-factor and short range repulsion effects. We obtain the equation of state of nuclear matter and study the importance of the pion effect.Y.Ogawa H.Toki A.Hosaka 2009原子核物理评论2009,26,S1:0

Investigation of Heisenberg algebra for a modified anti-de Sitter and modified antiSnyder models显示文摘In this paper,we consider a possible modification of the de Sitter and anti-de Sitter space for the extended uncertainty principle. For the modified anti-de Sitter model we discuss the representation and wave functions of the momentum operator for a one-dimensional box problem. Also,we consider modified Snyder and anti-Snyder models for the generalized uncertainty principle. Then,we assume the Hamiltonian with different potential and solve the Heisenberg algebra for the modified(anti)-de Sitter and(anti)-Snyder models in both position and in the momentum space.Nasrin Farahani Hassan Hassanabadi Won Sang Chung Leyla Naderi 2020Communications in Theoretical Physics2020,72,3:0
