1Biologically Inspired Node Generation Algorithm for Path Planning of Hyper-redundant Manipulators Using Probabilistic Roadmap显示文摘This article describes a biologically inspired node generator for the path planning of serially connected hyper-redundant manipulators using probabilistic roadmap planners. The generator searches the configuration space surrounding existing nodes in the roadmap and uses a combination of random and deterministic search methods that emulate the behaviour of octopus limbs. The strategy consists of randomly mutating the states of the links near the end-effector, and mutating the states of the links near the base of the robot toward the states of the goal configuration. When combined with the small tree probabilistic roadmap planner, the method was successfully used to solve the narrow passage motion planning problem of a 17 degree-of-freedom manipulator.Eric Lanteigne Amor Jnifene 2014International Journal of Automation and computing2014,11,2:2
2Multi-objective model and optimization algorithm based on column generation for continuous casting production planning显示文摘The optimization of continuous casting production planning(CCPP)in the steel industry was studied.The essence of CCPP is the productive capability balance of back-end facilities over the planning time period.The facilities with the demands of productive capability are called the flows.On the basis of charge plans,the task of CCPP is to produce cast plans according to the rules of cast design in order to meet the flows.Firstly,a multi-objective model was established with considering the demands of flows,the capability requirements of liquid steel refini ng devices,and the rules of cast design.Secondly,the model was decomposed into a master problem(set partitioning problem model)and a series of subproblem(pricing problem model)by using Dantzig-Wolfe decomposition strategy.Finally,a column generation-based optimization algorithm(CGBOA)was presented.The experimental results on practical production data from Baosteel demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is effective and feasible.Moreover,a new decision support system based on CGBOA has been successfully established and applied to No.2 Steelmaking Plant at Baosteel.Jian Yi Shu-jin Jia Bin Du Qing Liu 2019Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2019,26,3:1
3A production-cost-simulation-based method for optimal planning of the grid interconnection between countries with rich hydro energy显示文摘Cross-border grid interconnection is a critical means to achieve wide-area share of hydro and other clean energy.Economic benefit assessment of cross-border grid interconnection projects should be carefully performed during early stage.In this paper,a method based on cost-benefit economic assessment for optimal planning of cross-border grid interconnection is proposed.An economic index for comprehensively assessing the cost of a transmission project and its resulting benefits of more usage of hydro energy is designed first.A chronological production cost simulation model considering hydro energy spillage due to transmission congestion and thermal operational limitation is then proposed to calculate the economic index.A case study is performed using the proposed method to determine the optimal capacity of a potential transmission link between Brazil and Argentina,which have rich and complementary hydro energy resources.Caihao Liang Jing Meng Chen Chen Yuanbing Zhou 2020Global Energy Interconnection2020,3,1:1
