2Pathogenic mechanisms and control strategies of Botrytis cinerea causing post-harvest decay in fruits and vegetables显示文摘Botrytis cinerea is a significant necrotrophic plant pathogen causing devastating diseases on more than 500 plant species,especially on fresh fruits and vegetables,resulting in the economic losses ranging from$10 billion to$100 billion worldwide.This fungal pathogen invades nearly all parts of plants including stems,leaves,flowers,fruits,and seeds at both pre-harvest and post-harvest stages.Due to its wide host range and the huge economic losses that it causes,extensive investigations have been carried out to effectively control this plant pathogen.It is beneficial for exploring the pathogenic mechanisms of B.cinerea to provide fundamental basis for control strategies.In recent years,tremendous progress has been made in understanding these pathogenic genes and regulatory pathways,as well as the control strategies of B.cinerea.Here,the current knowledge will be summarized in this review.Li Hua Chen Yong Zhang Zhanquan Li Boqiang Qin Guozheng Tian Shiping 2018Food Quality and Safety2018,2,3:8
3Research progress on ecological protection technology of highway slope: status and challenges显示文摘Slope protection has always been a major concern in highway construction and later operation.Ecological protection technology is widely used in highway slope,which takes into account functions of protection,ecology,and landscape.Ecological protection technology is mainly to improve the stability of the slope through the combination of supporting structure and plants,and vegetation restoration can reduce the negative impact of highway construction.In this paper,the latest research progress of ecological protection technology was first reviewed to identify the main construction process and types,which revealed the protection mechanism of ecological protection technology.The comprehensive benefits of ecological slope protection technology were analysed from the aspects of air,water circulation,landscape and biodiversity.It has found that ecological protection technology of highway slope mainly forms the atmosphere-plant-soil system.Ecological protection technology of highway slope improved the stability of the slope through the supporting structure and the anchoring effect of plant roots.And the restoration of the surface vegetation on the slope promoted the photosynthesis and transpiration of plants and purifies the air quality along the highway.Ecological protection technology of highway slope could quickly restore the ecological balance,overall landscape and biodiversity of the region.Hongyuan Fu Huanyi Zha Ling Zeng Caiying Chen Chuankun Jia Hanbing Bian 2020Transportation Safety and Environment2020,2,1:6
4Review of research on high-speed railway aerodynamics in China显示文摘High-speed railway aerodynamics is the key basic science for solving the bottleneck problem of high-speed railway development.This paper systematically summarizes the aerodynamic research relating to China’s high-speed railway network.Seven key research advances are comprehensively discussed,including train aerodynamic drag-reduction technology,train aerodynamic noise-reduction technology,train ventilation technology,train crossing aerodynamics,train/tunnel aerodynamics,train/climate environment aerodynamics,and train/human body aerodynamics.Seven types of railway aerodynamic test platform built by Central South University are introduced.Five major systems for a high-speed railway network—the aerodynamics theoretical system,the aerodynamic shape(train,tunnel,and so on)design system,the aerodynamics evaluation system,the 3D protection system for operational safety of the high-speed railway network,and the high-speed railway aerodynamic test/computation/analysis platform system—are also introduced.Finally,eight future development directions for the field of railway aerodynamics are proposed.For over 30 years,railway aerodynamics has been an important supporting element in the development of China’s high-speed railway network,which has also promoted the development of high-speed railway aerodynamics throughout the world.Hong-qi Tian 2019Transportation Safety and Environment2019,1,1:6
5Emergency logistics scheduling with multiple supply-demand points based on grey interval显示文摘This study aimed to address the problem of post-disaster emergency material dispatching from multiple supply points to multiple demand points.In large-scale natural disasters,it is very important for multiple emergency material supply points to serve as sources of materials for multiple disaster sites and to determine emergency material scheduling solutions accurately.Furthermore,the quantity of emergency materials required at each disaster site is uncertain.To address this issue,in this study,we developed an emergency material scheduling model with multiple logistics supply points for multiple demand points based on the grey interval numbers.To optimize the proposed multi-supply-point and multi-demand-point emergency material scheduling mode,a multi-objective optimization algorithm based on a genetic algorithm was used.Experimental results demonstrate that the multi-objective optimization method can solve the emergency logistics scheduling problem better than the particle swarm optimization multi-objective solution algorithm.Additionally,the multi-supply point and multi-demand point emergency material dispatch model and optimization algorithm provides robust support for emergency management system decision-makers when they need to respond quickly to disaster relief activities.Zhiming Ding Xinrun Xu Shan Jiang Jin Yan Yanbo Han 2022Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2022,3,2:5
6ARIMA and NAR based prediction model for time series analysis of COVID-19 cases in India显示文摘In this paper,we have applied the univariate time series model to predict the number of COVID-19 infected cases that can be expected in upcoming days in India.We adopted an Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average(ARIMA)model on the data collected from 31st January 2020 to 25th March 2020 and verified it using the data collected from 26th March 2020 to 04th April 2020.A nonlinear autoregressive(NAR)neural network was developed to compare the accuracy of predicted models.The model has been used for daily prediction of COVID-19 cases for next 50 days without any additional intervention.Statistics from various sources,including the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare(MoHFW)and http://gffzz7f4dde9d11784f45h0cvnq9xc0nxu6fcu.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/are used for the study.The results showed an increasing trend in the actual and forecasted numbers of COVID-19 cases with approximately 1500 cases per day,based on available data as on 04th April 2020.The appropriate ARIMA(1,1,0)model was selected based on the Bayesian Information Criteria(BIC)values and the overall highest R 2 values of 0.95.The NAR model architecture constitutes ten neurons,which was optimized using the Levenberg-Marquardt optimization training algorithm(LM)with the overall highest R 2 values of 0.97.Farhan Mohammad Khan Rajiv Gupta 2020Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2020,1,1:5
7Problems and solutions regarding generalized functional safety in cyberspace显示文摘The common endogenous security problems in cyberspace and related attack threats have posed subversive challenges to conventional theories and methods of functional safety.In the current design of the cyber physical system(CPS),functional safety and cyber security are increasingly intertwined and inseparable,which evolve into the generalized functional safety(S&S)problem.The conventional reliability and cybersecurity technologies are unable to provide security assurance with quanti able design and veri cation metrics in response to the cyberattacks in hardware and software with common endogenous security problems,and the functional safety of CPS facilities or device has become a frightening ghost.The dynamic heterogeneity redundancy(DHR)architecture and coding channel theory(CCT)proposed by the cyberspace endogenous security paradigm could handle random failures and uncertain network attacks in an integrated manner,and its generalized robust control mechanism can solve the universal problem of quantitative design for functional safety under probability or improbability perturbation.As a generalized functional safety enabling structure,DHR opens up a new direction to solve the common endogenous security problems in the cross-disciplinary elds of cyberspace.JiangXing Wu 2022Security and Safety2022,1,1:5
8Un raveling the acetals as ageing markers of Chinese Highland Qingke Baijiu using comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography-time-of-flight mass spectrometry combined with metabolomics approach显示文摘Objectives:The ageing process has a significant impact on the aroma of Chinese Baijiu,which could strengthen the desirable flavor characteristics and reduce the undesirable ones.The aim of this study was to observe the in itiation of mean in gful cha nges in volatile fracti on and locate the ageing markers during ageing storage of Chinese Highland Qingke Baijiu.Materials and Methods:Samples of Chinese Qingke Baijiu were aged for 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,and 11 mon ths before an alysis.The samples were isolated by liquid-liquid extraction and then analyzed by comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography-time-of-flight mass spectrometry.The acquired data were processed by untargeted and targeted metabolomics approach to locate the ageing markers.Results:The untargeted metabolomics analysis(hierarchical clustering analysis,HCA)shows that the chemical composition of Qingke Baijiu presents a statistically sigrdficant deviation from the reference scenario after 5 mon ths.Subsequently,supervised statistics analysis(orthogo nal partial least squares discrimination analysis)was performed to locate the markers,which changed sigrdficantly during ageing.Fifteen markers were located,and seven of them were acetals.Notably,1,1-diethoxy-propane,1,1-diethoxy-butane,and 1,1-diethoxy-3-methyl-butane are important contributors to the flavor of Chinese Baijiu.The identified markers were applied for the untargeted metabolomics(HCA),and the results revealed that these markers could divide the Qingke Baijiu into two ageing stages,0-5 months and 6-11 months.Conclusion:The results suggest that it is a valuable tool for monitoring the changes of volatile compounds and locating the age markers in Chinese Baijiu.王新磊 宋学博 朱琳 耿晓杰 郑福平 赵强忠 孙啸涛 赵东瑞 冯声宝 赵谋明 孙宝国 2021Food Quality and Safety2021,5,3:5
9Pulsed light processing of foods for microbial safety显示文摘The demand for processed foods and the awareness about food quality and safety are increasing rapidly.The consumers’demand for minimally processed foods and growing competition in the market have made the processors to adopt newer non-thermal technologies that preserve nutrients and sensory properties of the products.Conventionally,heat processing of foods is carried out to convert raw material into value-added product,reduce or eliminate microbial load to improve safety,and extend shelf life.Some of the limitations of thermal processing techniques can be overcome by employing non-thermal processes.High hydrostatic pressure,pulsed electric field,ultrasound,cold plasma,dense phase carbon dioxide,ozone,and pulsed light(PL)processing are gaining popularity in food processing.PL technology is a non-thermal technology,where sterilization and decontamination are achieved by impinging high-intensity light pulses of short durations on surfaces of foods and high-transmission liquids.Although a few reports on the PL technology are available,in-depth studies on this are needed to adopt at a commercial level.The present review provides an overview of light-based processing of foods and covers important aspects such as different PL systems used for processing of foods,mode of action of PL on microbes,the effect of PL on liquid foods,surface decontamination of foods and parameters that affect PL efficacy,combination processing with PL.With the growing demand in non-thermal processing for the technological advancement in the area of generation of light,light-based processing will be a promising technology for microbial load reduction.M.L.Bhavya H.Umesh Hebbar 2017Food Quality and Safety2017,1,3:4
10Virtual and augmented reality technologies for emergency management in the built environments: A state-of-the-art review显示文摘With the rapid technological advancements in recent decades,virtual reality(VR)and augmented reality(AR)technologies have been increasingly adopted to address various challenges in emergency management in the built environments.This paper presents a review of state-of-the-art applications in this rapidly evolving area.A total of 84 relevant articles are identified based on searching in the Web of Science Core Collection and snowballing.These papers are then organized based on a taxonomy developed in this study.Next,a range of VR/AR appli-cations presented in these papers that are aimed to enhance various processes associated with pre-emergency preparedness,responses during emergency and post-emergency recovery are reviewed in detail.The existing VR/AR applications are also described from a human-computer interaction perspective.Finally,current research trends,knowledge gaps and directions for future research are discussed.The findings presented in this paper are expected to provide a synthetic and critical review of state-of-the-art VR/AR applications for emergency management in the built environment and facilitate further advancements in both research and practice in this area.Yiqing Zhu Nan Li 2021Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2021,2,1:4

12Effect of a combined microwave-assisted drying and air drying on improving active nutraceutical compounds,flavor quality,and antioxidant properties of Camellia sinensis L.(cv.Longjing 43)flowers显示文摘Drying tea flowers into a high-quality product is important to its commodity value.In the present work,a combination of microwave-assisted drying and air drying(MAD-AD)was applied in the processing of fresh tea flowers and its effects on flavor quality,active nutraceutical compounds,and antioxidant capacities were studied.The results showed that compared to air drying and freeze drying tea flowers,the MAD-AD tea flowers had higher amounts of active compounds such as catechins,flavonol glycosides,and triterpenoid saponins,and possessed high antioxidant activities.Moreover,this drying method improved the tea flowers'color and preserved a more floral fragrance.This combined method could be of interest as an industrial method for drying tea flowers with the benefit of reduced processing time,more reserved active compounds and high quality of products.施林佐 Eunhye Kim 杨蕾玉 黄艳梅 任苧 李博 何普明 屠幼英 吴媛媛 2021Food Quality and Safety2021,5,2:4

15Multi-hazard disaster scenario method and emergency management for urban resilience by integrating experiment-simulation-field data显示文摘Due to the frequent occurrence of multi-hazard disasters worldwide in recent years,effective multi-hazard sce-nario analysis is imperative for disaster rescue and emergency management.The response procedure for different single hazards were investigated and formulated before.However,the investigations of disaster scenario rarely systematically address the entire development and response process of multi-hazards,including the coupling mechanisms,evolution dynamics,scenario assessment and emergency response.To this end,this paper presents our methodology of multi-hazard disaster scenario that integrates experiment-simulation-field data,focusing on three dimensions consisting of multi-hazard coupling,structures and systems,and emergency management.The newly proposed scenario method mainly comprises three aspects:experiments and simulations,multi-hazard field investigation,scenario analysis and response.Specifically,in order to study the large-scale,high-intensity and multi-hazard coupling effects,we carried out reduced-scale experiments and field measurement experiments to develop experimental similarity theory and prototype simulations of multi-hazards.In addition,a variety of field rescue and survey equipment,such as robots,Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV),and Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality(VR/AR)technologies were utilized to acquire real-time data of multi-hazard field.Furthermore,we also examine the mechanism and framework of multi-hazard scenarios to formulate the detailed procedures of man-agement and response.They are incorporated with the experiments,simulations,field data and models to con-struct a new scenario platform.The proposed scenario method was applied in a case study of the coupled wind and snow multi-hazard to verify its effectiveness.The new method contributes to the disaster relief,decision-making and emergency management for multi-hazard disaster to improve the urban resilience.Rui Ba Qing Deng Yi Liu Rui Yang Hui Zhang 2021Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2021,2,2:3

18Barley:a potential cereal for producing healthy and functional foods显示文摘Barley is the fourth largest cereal crop in the world.It is mainly used for feeding,beer production and food.Barley is receiving more attention from both agricultural and food scientists because of its special chemical composition and health benefits.In comparison with other cereal crops,including wheat,rice and maize,barley grains are rich in dietary fiber(such asβ-glucan)and tocols,which are beneficial to human health.It is well proved that diets rich in those chemicals can provide protection against hypertension,cardiovascular disease,and diabetes.Barley has been widely recognized to have great potential as a healthy or functional food.In this review,we present information about studies on the phys-ical structure of the barley grain and the distribution of its main chemical components,nutrient and functional composition of barley grain and their health benefits,and the approaches of improving and utilizing the nutrient and functional chemicals in barley grain.With the development of processing technologies,functional components in barley grains,especiallyβ-glucan,can be efficiently extracted and concentrated.Moreover,nutrient and functional components in barley grains can be efficiently improved by precise breeding and agronomic approaches.The review high-lights the great potential of barley used as healthy and functional foods,and may be instructive for better utilization of barley in food processing.La Geng Mengdi Li Guoping Zhan Lingzhen Ye 2022Food Quality and Safety2022,6,2:3
