1Large-scale multiferroic complex oxide epitaxy with magnetically switched polarization enabled by solution processing显示文摘Complex oxides with tunable structures have many fascinating properties,though high-quality complex oxide epitaxy with precisely controlled composition is still out of reach.Here we have successfully developed solution-based single-crystalline epitaxy for multiferroic(1-x)BiTi(1-y)/2FeyMg(1-y)/2O3–(x)CaTiO3(BTFM–CTO)solid solution in large area,confirming its ferroelectricity at the atomic scale with strong spontaneous polarization.Careful compositional tuning leads to a bulk magnetization of 0.07±0.035μB/Fe at room temperature,enabling magnetically induced polarization switching exhibiting a large magnetoelectric coefficient of 2.7–3.0×10^-7 s/m.This work demonstrates the great potential of solution processing in large-scale complex oxide epitaxy and establishes novel room-temperature magnetoelectric coupling in epitaxial BTFM–CTO film,making it possible to explore a much wider space of composition,phase,and structure that can be easily scaled up for industrial applications.Cong Liu Feng An Paria S.M.Gharavi Qinwen Lu Junkun Zha Chao Chen Liming Wang Xiaozhi Zhan Zedong Xu Yuan Zhang Ke Qu Junxiang Yao Yun Ou Zhiming Zhao Xiangli Zhong Dongwen Zhang Nagarajan Valanoor Lang Chen Tao Zhu Deyang Chen Xiaofang Zhai Peng Gao Tingting Jia Shuhong Xie Gaokuo Zhong Jiangyu Li 2020National Science Review2020,7,1:2

3Identification of genome regions and important variations associated with expression level of MYH genes and its correlation with meat quality traits in pigs显示文摘Meat quality is one of the most important economic traits in pig breeding.It has been reported that the composition of type II muscle fibers is correlated with meat quality in pigs.Type II muscle fibers contain three isoforms,IIa,IIb and IIx,which contain specific myofibrillar proteins MYH2,MYH4 and MYH1,respectively.In this study,the expression levels of MYH1,MYH2,and MYH4 genes in the Longissimus thoracis(LT)muscle were measured in 114 Yorkshire pigs.Further,the correlations between the expression level of MYH genes and the meat quality traits of intramuscular fat,drip loss,water-holding capacity and postmortem pH values were analyzed.The results showed that the expression level of MYH2 was positively correlated with the intramuscular fat(R=0.20,P<0.05).The expression levels of MHY1 and MYH4 were negatively correlated with the pH at 24 h post mortem(pH24h;R=-0.28,P<0.01;R=-0.25,P<0.01,respectively).Besides,the 60K SNP chip was used for genotyping the individuals.Genome wide association analysis indicated that 15 SNPs were significantly associated with the expression levels of these three MYH genes.The results indicated the expression levels of MYH1,MYH2 and MYH4 genes could be useful markers for improvement of meat quality in pigs.Ye HOU Lu JING Yunxia ZHAO Sheng WANG An LIU Shuhong ZHAO Xinyun LI 2015Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2015,2,3:0
4Nanodevices engineering and spin transport properties of MnBi_(2)Te_(4) monolayer显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)magnetic materials are essential for the development of the next-generation spintronic technologies.Recently,layered van der Waals(vdW)compound MnBi2Te4(MBT)has attracted great interest,and its 2D structure has been reported to host coexisting magnetism and topology.Here,we design several conceptual nanodevices based on MBT monolayer(MBT-ML)and reveal their spin-dependent transport properties by means of the first-principles calculations.The pn-junction diodes and sub-3-nm pin-junction field-effect transistors(FETs)show a strong rectifying effect and a spin filtering effect,with an ideality factor n close to 1 even at a reasonably high temperature.In addition,the pip-and nin-junction FETs give an interesting negative differential resistive(NDR)effect.The gate voltages can tune currents through these FETs in a large range.Furthermore,the MBT-ML has a strong response to light.Our results uncover the multifunctional nature of MBT-ML,pave the road for its applications in diverse next-generation semiconductor spin electric devices.Yipeng An Kun Wang Shijing Gong Yusheng Hou Chunlan Ma Mingfu Zhu Chuanxi Zhao Tianxing Wang Shuhong Ma Heyan Wang Ruqian Wu Wuming Liu 2021npj Computational Materials2021,,1:0
