2A magnetic adsorbent based on salicylic acid-immobilized magnetite nano-particles for pre-concentration of Cd(II) ions显示文摘In this research,an eco-friendly magnetic adsorbent based on Fe_(3)O_(4)/salicylic acid nanocomposite was fabricated using a facile one-pot co-precipitation method.The crystalline and morphological characterization of the prepared nanocomposite was performed by field emission scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.The nanocomposite was employed as a magnetic solid-phase extraction agent for separation of Cd(II)ions from synthetic solutions.Some experimental factors affecting the extraction efficiency were investigated and optimized.Following elution with acetic acid(pH 3.5),the pre-concentrated analyte was quantified by flame atomic absorption spectrometry.In optimal conditions,a linear calibration graph was achieved in the concentration range of 0.2–30 ng·mL^(−1) with a determination coefficient(R^(2))of 0.9953.The detection limit,the enhancement factor,inter-and intra-day relative standard deviations(for six consecutive extractions at the concentration level of 10 ng·mL^(−1))were 0.04 ng·mL^(−1),100,2.38%and 1.52%,respectively.To evaluate the accuracy of the method,a certified reference material(NIST SRM 1643e)was analyzed,and there was a good agreement between the certified and the measured values.It was successfully utilized to determine cadmium in industrial wastewater samples and the attained relative recovery values were between 96.8%and 103.2%.Hossein Abdolmohammad-Zadeh Arezu Salimi 2021Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2021,15,2:1
3碱性溶液中电聚酪胺-铜草酸盐纳米复合物修饰铜电极电催化甲醇氧化(英文)显示文摘A polytyramine-copper oxalate nanocomposite modified copper(PTCOxNMC) electrode prepared by electropolymerization was examined for electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of methanol in alkaline solution using cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy. The prepared PTCOxNMC electrode showed a significantly high response for adsorbed methanol oxidation. The effects of various parameters such as potential scan rate and methanol concentration on the electrocatalytic oxidation at the surface of the PTCOxNMC electrode were investigated. Spectrometry techniques such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy were used to determine the surface physical characteristics of the modified electrode and revealed that the polytyramine-copper oxalate nanocomposite particles were highly dispersed on the surface of the copper electrode with a narrow size up to 40 nm. 5Caraway extract alleviates atopic dermatitis by regulating oxidative stress,suppressing Th2 cells,and upregulating Th1 cells in mice显示文摘Objective:To explore the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects of caraway on atopic dermatitis(AD)in mice.Methods:AD was induced in two stages,including sensitization and challenge with the application of 2,4 dinitrochlorobenzene 2% and 0.2%,respectively.Clinical symptoms and histological analysis of the skin were assessed.The effects of caraway on oxidant/antioxidant parameters as well as Th1-and Th2-related cytokines were also evaluated.Results:Caraway reduced the severity of dermatitis in AD-induced mice,as evidenced by significant inhibition of Th2-related cytokines(IL-4 and IL-13)and increased Th1-related cytokine(IFN-γ).Additionally,treatment with caraway significantly increased superoxide dismutase and catalase activity and decreased the malondialdehyde level in the serum of AD mice.Furthermore,caraway inhibited the differentiation of Th2 cells while favoring Th1 cell differentiation in the spleen via regulating their master transcription factors GATA3 and T-bet.Conclusions:Caraway could improve AD autoimmune responses and could be considered a potential candidate to treat AD disease.Fardin Khajepour Mohammad Reza Zangouyee Arezu Khosravimashizi Ali Afgar Vahideh Abdollahi Shahriar Dabiri Reza Nosratabadi 2022Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2022,12,10:0
