2Robust cooperative spectrum sensing schemes for fading channels in cognitive radio networks显示文摘In cognitive radio systems, cooperative spectrum sensing can detect the presence of the primary user accurately. In practice, however, since the sensing observations are forwarded to a data collector through fading channels, the sensing performance is severely degraded. To deal with this problem, in this paper, we first propose a secondary user selection based cooperative spectrum sensing method to improve sensing performance by decreasing the reporting errors introduced by the fading channels. More specifically, only the secondary users with better signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for reporting channels are allowed to send their local binary decisions (0 or 1) to the data collector while the others will send nothing. Additionally, we further propose a diversity based cooperative spectrum sensing method which applies existing space-time coding. By exploiting space diversity in CR network, the reporting errors introduced by the fading channel can be decreased and then the sensing performance is improved significantly. For either proposed cooperative spectrum sensing method, the sensing performance is derived and the analytical performance results are given. 3CROSS LAYER COORDINATED ENERGY SAVING STRATEGY IN MANET显示文摘Mobile Ad hoc NETwork (MANET) consists of a set of mobile hosts which can operate independently without infrastructure base stations. Energy saving is a critical issue for MANET since most mobile hosts will operate on battery powers. A cross layer coordinated framework for energy saving is proposed in this letter. 4Detection time analysis for the multiple-user cooperative spectrum sensing scheme in cognitive radio networks显示文摘In this paper, a novel multiple-user cooperative spectrum sensing (MCSS) scheme is proposed to achieve the spatial diversity gains for cognitive radio (CR) networks, where only the best relay, selected among all the candidate relays in accordance with the quality of channel conditions, is utilized to cooperatively detect the primary user. Closed-form expressions of detection time for the traditional non-cooperative and the proposed MCSS schemes are derived over Rayleigh fading channels. In addition, numerical experimentations are conducted to make a performance comparison between the noncooperative sensing and our scheme. 5A novel multi-relay cross-layer cooperative communication strategy based on Jackson queuing model显示文摘A novel multi-relay cooperative communication strategy based on Jackson queuing model is pro-posed, which is implemented via a cross-layer design between the physical (PHY) layer and the medium access control (MAC) layer. In the PHY layer, we focus mainly on system outage performance by analyzing in detail the relationship between the SNR threshold and the outage probabilities. While in the MAC layer, system model is treated as a Jackson queuing network, and the queue discipline for each node is assumed to be GI/M/1 model. System throughput and delay performance for the proposed strategy are also illustrated. Simulation results of the proposed cross-layer scheme are presented to validate our theoretical derivations. 6MiR-205 inhibits the invasion and migration of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma by modulating SMAD1 expression显示文摘Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)is one of the most lethal cancers worldwide.In this study,we aimed to investigate the underlying mechanisms of metastasis inhibition by miR-205 in ESCC.In microRNA(miRNA)array and quantitative RT-PCR analyses,we found that the expression level of miR-205 was significantly lower in patients with lymph node metastasis compared with that in patients without lymph node metastasis.After transfection of miR-205 mimics or inhibitors into ESCC cell lines,a significant negative correlation was observed between the expression level of miR-205 and Smad1.In luciferase reporter assays,we revealed that miR-205 inhibited the expression of SMAD1 by targeting the 30untranslated region(30-UTR)of SMAD1 mRNA in ESCC cells.Furthermore,our results showed that miR-205 suppressed the invasion and migration of ESCC cells,whereas Smad1 increased their invasion and migration.Taken together,our study demonstrates that miR-205 functions as a suppressor of tumor metastasis by regulating SMAD1expression through targeting the 30-UTR of SMAD1 mRNAin ESCC.Therefore,miR-205 may be a potential therapeutic target for miRNA-based therapy of ESCC.Baoyu Liang Yan Wu Xu Han Xiaofei Zheng Qimin Zhan Tong Tong 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,19:4
7Methionine metabolism in chronic liver diseases:an update on molecular mechanism and therapeutic implication显示文摘As one of the bicyclic metabolic pathways of one-carbon metabolism,methionine metabolism is the pivot linking the folate cycle to the transsulfuration pathway.In addition to being a precursor for glutathione synthesis,and the principal methyl donor for nucleic acid,phospholipid,histone,biogenic amine,and protein methylation,methionine metabolites can participate in polyamine synthesis.Methionine metabolism disorder can aggravate the damage in the pathological state of a disease.In the occurrence and development of chronic liver diseases(CLDs),changes in various components involved in methionine metabolism can affect the pathological state through various mechanisms.A methionine-deficient diet is commonly used for building CLD models.The conversion of key enzymes of methionine metabolism methionine adenosyltransferase(MAT)1 A and MAT2A/MAT2B is closely related to fibrosis and hepatocellular carcinoma.In vivo and in vitro experiments have shown that by intervening related enzymes or downstream metabolites to interfere with methionine metabolism,the liver injuries could be reduced.Recently,methionine supplementation has gradually attracted the attention of many clinical researchers.Most researchers agree that adequate methionine supplementation can help reduce liver damage.Retrospective analysis of recently conducted relevant studies is of profound significance.This paper reviews the latest achievements related to methionine metabolism and CLD,from molecular mechanisms to clinical research,and provides some insights into the future direction of basic and clinical research.Zhanghao Li Feixia Wang Baoyu Liang Ying Su Sumin Sun Siwei Xia Jiangjuan Shao Zili Zhang Min Hong Feng Zhang Shizhong Zheng 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:3
8Optimal power allocation for cognitive relay networks: amplify-and-forward versus selection relay显示文摘We consider a cognitive relay network which is defined by a source,a destination,and cognitive relay nodes and primary user nodes.In this network,a source is assisted by cognitive relay nodes which allow coexisting with primary user nodes by imposing severe constraints on the transmission power so that they operate below the noise floor of primary user nodes.In this paper,we mainly study the power allocation strategies of this system to minimize the outage probability subject to total and individual power constraints for cognitive relay nodes and subject to interference constraints for primary user nodes.A relay transmission scheme,namely amplify-and-forward (AF),is considered.We first present an optimal power allocation (OPA) scheme to minimize the system outage probability,based on instantaneous channel state information among the source,destination and relay nodes and mean channel gains between primary user nodes and cognitive relays.Next,we propose a selection AF scheme (S-AF) where the single best relay is chosen to assist in the transmission and study power allocation strategy for S-AF to minimize outage probability.The analytical power allocation strategies have been validated through numerical simulations.The results indicate that the AF with OPA and S-AF with OPA have significantly better outage behavior and average throughput than AF and S-AF schemes respectively.We also find that S-AF with OPA achieves a higher throughput,and hence lower outage probability than AF with OPA.YUE WenJing ZHENG BaoYu MENG QingMin YUE WenJie CUI JingWu 2011Science China(Information Sciences)2011,54,4:3
9COLLABORATIVE TRACKING VIA PARTICLE FILTER IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS显示文摘Target tracking is one of the main applications of wireless sensor networks. Optimized computation and energy dissipation are critical requirements to save the limited resource of the sensor nodes. A framework and analysis for collaborative tracking via particle filter are presented in this paper. Collaborative tracking is implemented through sensor selection, and results of tracking are propagated among sensor nodes. In order to save communication resources, a new Gaussian sum particle filter, called Gaussian sum quasi particle filter, to perform the target tracking is presented, in which only mean and covariance of mixands need to be communicated. Based on the Gaussian sum quasi particle filter, a sensor selection criterion is proposed, which is computationally much simpler than other sensor selection criterions. 10Inhibition of ASCT2 induces hepatic stellate cell senescence with modified proinflammatory secretome through an IL-1α/NF-κB feedback pathway to inhibit liver fibrosis显示文摘Senescence of activated hepatic stellate cells(aHSCs) is a stable growth arrest that is implicated in liver fibrosis regression.Senescent cells often accompanied by a multi-faceted senescence-associated secretory phenotype(SASP).But little is known about how alanine-serine-cysteine transporter type-2(ASCT2),a high affinity glutamine transporter,affects HSC senescence and SASP during liver fibrosis.Here,we identified ASCT2 is mainly elevated in aHSCs and positively correlated with liver fibrosis in human and mouse fibrotic livers.We first discovered ASCT2 inhibition induced HSCs to senescence in vitro and in vivo.The proinflammatory SASP were restricted by ASCT2 inhibition at senescence initiation to prevent paracrine migration.Mechanically,ASCT2 was a direct target of glutaminolysisdependent proinflammatory SASP,interfering IL-1α/NF-κB feedback loop via interacting with precursor IL-1α at Lys82.From a translational perspective,atractylenolide Ⅲ is identified as ASCT2 inhibitor through directly bound to Asn230 of ASCT2.The presence of -OH group in atractylenolide Ⅲ is suggested to be favorable for the inhibition of ASCT2.Importantly,atractylenolide Ⅲ could be utilized to treat liver fibrosis mice.Taken together,ASCT2 controlled HSC senescence while modifying the proinflammatory SASP.Targeting ASCT2 by atractylenolide Ⅲ could be a therapeutic candidate for liver fibrosis.Feixia Wang Zhanghao Li Li Chen Ting Yang Baoyu Liang Zili Zhang Jiangjuan Shao Xuefen Xu Guoping Yin Shijun Wang Hai Ding Feng Zhang Shizhong Zheng 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,9:2
11Face Recognition Using Dense SIFT Feature Alignment显示文摘This paper addresses face recognition problem in a more challenging scenario where the training and test samples are both subject to the visual variations of poses, expressions and misalignments. We employ dense Scale-invariant feature transform(SIFT) feature matching as a generic transformation to roughly align training samples; and then identify input facial images via an improved sparse representation model based on the aligned training samples. 18PROJECTED GRADIENT DESCENT BASED ON SOFT THRESHOLDING IN MATRIX COMPLETION显示文摘Matrix completion is the extension of compressed sensing.In compressed sensing,we solve the underdetermined equations using sparsity prior of the unknown signals.However,in matrix completion,we solve the underdetermined equations based on sparsity prior in singular values set of the unknown matrix,which also calls low-rank prior of the unknown matrix.This paper firstly introduces basic concept of matrix completion,analyses the matrix suitably used in matrix completion,and shows that such matrix should satisfy two conditions:low rank and incoherence property.Then the paper provides three reconstruction algorithms commonly used in matrix completion:singular value thresholding algorithm,singular value projection,and atomic decomposition for minimum rank approximation,puts forward their shortcoming to know the rank of original matrix.The Projected Gradient Descent based on Soft Thresholding(STPGD),proposed in this paper predicts the rank of unknown matrix using soft thresholding,and iteratives based on projected gradient descent,thus it could estimate the rank of unknown matrix exactly with low computational complexity,this is verified by numerical experiments.We also analyze the convergence and computational complexity of the STPGD algorithm,point out this algorithm is guaranteed to converge,and analyse the number of iterations needed to reach reconstruction error.Compared the computational complexity of the STPGD algorithm to other algorithms,we draw the conclusion that the STPGD algorithm not only reduces the computational complexity,but also improves the precision of the reconstruction solution.Zhao Yujuan Zheng Baoyu Chen Shouning 2013Journal of Electronics(China)2013,30,6:1

20Interference Alignment in Two-Way Relay Networks via Rank Constraints Rank Minimization显示文摘Interference alignment(IA) is one of the promising measures for the multi-user network to manage interference. The rank constraints rank minimization means that interference spans the lowest dimensional subspace and the useful signal spans all available spatial dimensions. In order to improve the performance of two-way relay network, we can use rank constrained rank minimization(RCRM) to solve the IA problem. This paper proposes left reweighted nuclear norm minimization-γalgorithm and selective coupling reweighted nuclear norm minimization algorithm to implement interference alignment in two-way relay networks. The left reweighted nuclear norm minimization-γ algorithm is based on reweighted nuclear norm minimization algorithm and has a novel γ choosing rule. The selective coupling reweighted nuclear norm minimization algorithm weighting methods choose according to singular value of interference matrixes.
