| 2 | Arabidopsis PWWP domain proteins mediate H_3K_(27) trimethylation on FLC and regulate flowering time显示文摘LHP_1 mediates recruitment of the PRC_2 histone methyltransferase complex to chromatin and thereby facilitates maintenance of H_3 K_(27)me_3 on FLC, a key flowering repressor gene. Here, we report that the PWWP domain proteins(PDPs) interact with FVE and MSI5 to suppress FLC expression and thereby promote flowering. We demonstrated that FVE, MSI_5, and PDP_3 were co-purified with LHP_1. The H_3K_(27)me_3 level on FLC was decreased in the pdp mutants as well as in the fve/msi_5 double mutant. This study suggests that PDPs function together with FVE and MSI_5 to regulate the function of the PRC_2 complex on FLC. | Jin-Xing Zhou Zhang-Wei Liu Yong-Qiang Li Lin Li Bangjun Wang She Chen Xin-Jian He | 2018 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2018,60,5: | 5 |
| 3 | Data-driven sensor placement for efficient thermal field reconstruction显示文摘Complete temperature field estimation from limited local measurements is widely desired in many industrial and scientific applications of thermal engineering. Since the sensor configuration dominates the reconstruction performance, some progress has been made in designing sensor placement methods. But these approaches remain to be improved in terms of both accuracy and efficiency due to the lack of comprehensive schemes and efficient optimization algorithms. In this work, we develop a datadriven sensor placement framework for thermal field reconstruction. Specifically, we first tailor the low-dimensional model from the prior thermal maps to represent the high-dimensional temperature distribution states by virtue of proper orthogonal decomposition technique. Then, on such subspace, a recursive greedy algorithm with determinant maximization as the objective function is developed to optimize the sensor placement configuration. Furthermore, we find that the same sensor configuration can be yielded faster by the standard procedures of column-pivoted QR factorization, which allows concise software implementation with readily available function packages. When the sensor locations are determined, we advocate using the databased closed-form estimator to minimize the reconstruction error. Real-time thermal monitoring on the multi-core processor is employed as the case to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods for thermal field reconstruction. Extensive evaluations are conducted on simulation or experimental datasets of three processors with different architectures. The results show that our method achieves state-of-the-art reconstruction performance while possessing the lowest computational complexity when compared with the existing methods. | LI BangJun LIU HaoRan WANG RuZhu | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,9: | 1 |
| 4 | Effects of pyraclostrobin on growth, oxidative stress, and gene expression in relation to stress and ATP-binding cassette transporters in Tetrahymena thermophila显示文摘Pyraclostrobin(PYR),a widely used fungicide, has negative effects on fish and algae, but its toxicity in protozoa remains unclear. In this study, the effects of PYR on the growth, oxidative stress, and gene expression related to stress and ATP-binding cassette(ABC)transporters in Tetrahymena thermophila were investigated. The result showed that the 96-h IC_(50)of PYR against T.thermophila was 17.2 mg/L.Moreover,PYR inhibited the growth of T.thermophila in concentration-or time-dependent manner.A morphological study revealed that the shape and size of T.thermophila changed, and damage of cell membrane surface was observed by scanning electron microscopy after 96 h of PYR exposure. The activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and catalase(CAT)increased throughout the experiment. In contrast, the glutathione(GSH)content was increased at 24 h and 48 h of exposure and decreased at 96 h.Moreover,a significant increase in malondialdehyde(MDA)level was observed in T.thermophila after96 h of exposure.Furthermore,PYR upregulated the HSP703,HSP705,GPx2,and ABAC15 gene expression in the 0.1–5-mg/L groups and downregulated the HSP704,HSP90,TGR,and ABCC52 mRNA levels at 96 h of exposure. These results suggest that PYR may exert adverse effects on T.thermophila by inducing oxidative stress and changing the gene expression related to ABC transporters and stress, which may enrich the understanding of the toxicity mechanism of PYR in aquatic organisms and provide reference data for aquatic ecological risk assessments. | Yang LIU Jiale ZHANG Peng XIAO Xin LIU Yisifu MA Jing ZHANG Bangjun ZHANG | 2024 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2024,42,1: | 0 |
| 5 | Investigation of Organic Matter Sources and Depositional Environment Changes for Terrestrial Shale Succession from the Yuka Depression: Implications from Organic Geochemistry and Petrological Analyses显示文摘Continental organic-rich shales are well developed in the Dameigou Formation within the Yuka Depression of the Qaidam Basin. Here, the Rock-Eval pyrolysis, biomarkers, organic petrology, and stable carbon isotope have been carried out on the Middle Jurassic Dameigou Formation source rocks from the northwest part of Yuka Depression, Qaidam Basin in order to study their thermal maturity, source of organic matter(OM), and palaeoenvironment changes. The Rock-Eval pyrolysis data(e.g., T_(max)), vitrinite reflectance, and biomarker-derived thermal maturity parameters(e.g., carbon preference index, Ts/(Ts+Tm), C_(29)Ts/(C_(29)Ts+C_(29)αβ hopane), C_(30) αβ/(αβ+βα) hopanes, C_(29)ααα 20S/(20S+20R) steranes, and C_(29)αββ/(αββ+ααα) steranes) suggest all studied samples stay between immature and low mature stage. The maceral compositions, stable carbon isotope compositions, n-alkane distributions, and biomarker-derived source parameters(e. g., C_(27)/C_(29)ααα 20R sterane, ternary diagram of C_(27)-C28-C_(29)steranes, C24 tetracyclic terpane) indicate both aquatic organisms and higher plants are the source of OM in the shales, but land plants are dominant. Generally low gammacerane concentration and environment-related parameters(e. g., cross-plots of C_(27)/C_(29)ααα 20R sterane vs. Pr/Ph) indicate these source rocks may be derived from lacustrine and fluvial-deltaic environments with fresh water, which is also supported by the variations of stable carbon isotopes from OM in the source rocks. However, the stable carbon isotope compositions of OM in the source rocks were influenced by multiple factors(e.g., source types and depositional environment) in the Yuka Depression. Slightly brackish condition is recorded in the upper part of the ZK6-1 well favor the formation of lacustrine algae, as confirmed by high contents of C_(27) steranes and short-chain n-alkanes. The variation of reducing to oxidizing condition of study area is possibly associated with the periodical flooded river-influenced aquatic condition during the deposition of the Middle Jurassic Dameigou Formation. | Shiming Liu Lian Jiang Bangjun Liu Cunliang Zhao Shuheng Tang Furong Tan | 2023 | Journal of Earth Science2023,34,5: | 0 |
