| 3 | EFFECT OF ACUPUNCTURE ON PLASMA GLUCOSE LEVEL IN HUMAN VOLUNTEERS显示文摘Objective To observe the changes of plasma glucose level (PGL) in human volunteers after acupuncture. Methods Seventy-seven human volunteers were taken up from the acupuncture clinic. All of them were non-diabetic subjects. Electroacupuncture at acupoints Zhongwan (中脘CV 12) and Guanyuan (关元CV 4) was given for 20 minutes. Venous blood was collected before acupuncture and 10 minutes after completion of acupuncture. All cases were at four hours abstinence from food before doing acupuncture. Results Plasma glucose level varied 5 mg% or more in 62 cases (80.51%) and only those were considered for computation. PGL increased in cases who had generally plasma glucose level below 90 mg% before acupuncture; and PGL decreased in cases who had plasma glucose 90 mg% or above. In 10 control cases there was no variation of the considerable level of 5 mg% in any case. Conclusion Bi-directional variation of PGL after acupuncture indicates that acupuncture can be used to maintain optimum PGL through endogenous mechanism, suggesting that it is applicable in controlling hyperglycemia in diabetes mellitus patients. | Amit Kumar Chakraborty Mrigendranath Gantait Biswapati Mukherjee | 2006 | World Journal of Acupuncture-Moxibustion2006,16,4: | 1 |
| 4 | 人胎盘提取物对大鼠伤口愈合的作用(英文)显示文摘AIM: To study wound healing activity of the humanplacental extract(HPE) in rats. METIHODS: Fullthickness wounds were inflicted on depilated dorsum ofCharles foster rats with 8 mm Acu-punch biopsy. TheHPE was applied both at topical and im routes (2.5 mL/kg). Effects were compared on the basis of physicalcriteria, biochemical criteria, and histopathological studywith respect to untreated control, vehicle control (1. 5%benzyl alcohol), and framycetin topical treated groups.RESULTS: Significant lowering of wound size(P<0.05), wound index(P<0.05), and number of daysrequired for complete healing (P<0.01); significantgain in tensile strength(P<0.01); appreciable increaseof tissue DNA, total protein, and collagenesis wereobserved in HPE treated group. CONCLUSION:Human placental extract systematically helps collagenesisleading to potent healing of wounds. | BISWAS Tuhin Kanti AUDDY Biswajit BHATTACHARYA Nitai P BHATTACHARYA Subahshree MUKHERJEE Biswapati | 2001 | Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2001,22,12: | 1 |

| 9 | EFFICACY OF ACUPUNCTURE THERAPY ON A, B AND O BLOOD GROUPS ──Relationship between A, B, O blood groups and the acupuncture therapy显示文摘Efficacy of acupuncture therapy varies in patients with similar ailments. The present study was undertaken to search for a marker for better efficacy of acupuncture therapy. The study was made in 224 patients including osteoarthritis 141 (62.94 %), polyarthritis 23 (10.26 %), Bursitis & synovitis 15 (6.69 %) and others 45 (20.08 %). ABO blood groups were tested for each patient. It appears that patients belonging to group AB and B responded well to acupuncture therapy in proportionately more number. Good result was achieved in 47.82 % cases in group AB and 46.04 % cases in group B, whereas patients of group A and O showed good result in 27.65 % and 26.15 % cases respectively. Apparently it may be concluded that patients of AB & B blood groups would respond comparatively well to acupuncture therapy. | Amit Kr.
| 11 | Aspect based sentiment analysis using multi-criteria decision-making and deep learning under COVID-19 pandemic in India显示文摘The COVID-19 pandemic has a significant impact on the global economy and health. While the pandemic continues to cause casualties in millions, many countries have gone under lockdown.During this period, people have to stay within walls and become more addicted towards social networks. They express their emotions and sympathy via these online platforms. Thus, popular social media(Twitter and Facebook)have become rich sources of information for Opinion Mining and Sentiment Analysis on COVID-19-related issues. We have used Aspect Based Sentiment Analysis to anticipate the polarity of public opinion underlying different aspects from Twitter during lockdown and stepwise unlock phases. The goal of this study is to find the feelings of Indians about the lockdown initiative taken by the Government of India to stop the spread of Coronavirus.India-specific COVID-19 tweets have been annotated, for analysing the sentiment of common public. To classify the Twitter data set a deep learning model has been proposed which has achieved accuracies of 82.35%for Lockdown and 83.33%for Unlock data set.The suggested method outperforms many of the contemporary approaches(long shortterm memory,Bi-directional long short-term memory,Gated Recurrent Unit etc.).This study highlights the public sentiment on lockdown and stepwise unlocks, imposed by the Indian Government on various aspects during the Corona outburst. | Rakesh Dutta Nilanjana Das Mukta Majumder Biswapati Jana | 2023 | CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2023,8,1: | 0 |
