1COMPOSITION OF INDOOR AEROSOLS AT EMPEROR QIN'S TERRA-COTTA MUSEUM,XI'AN,CHINA,DURING SUMMER,2004显示文摘Particle samples were collected in August 2004 both inside and outside Emperor Qin's Terra-Cotta Museum in Xi'an, China. Mass and chemical composition of total suspended particles (TSP, particles with aerodynamic diameter less than ~30 μm), PM2.5 (particles with aerodynamic diameter <2.5 μm) were determined. The average levels Sulfate ((32.4+6.2)%), organics ((27.7+8.0)%), and geological material ((12.5+3.4)%) dominated indoor PM2.5, followed by ammonium ((8.9+2.8)%), nitrate ((7.0+2.9)%), and elemental carbon (EC, (3.9±1.5)%). Particle size distribution varied with the number of tourists in the museum. The size of sulfate, organics, EC, nitrate, and ammonium was found to vary in the range of 0.43 to 3.3 μm in fraction. Ion balance indicated that the aerosol was acidic, with insufficient ammonium ions to neutralize the sulfuric and nitric acids. High concentrations of acidic aerosols will erode the Terra-cotta warriors and horses especially in the summer season with high temperature (30℃) and relative humidity (70%) and undesirable solar radiation inside the museum. 3Recent progress and perspectives on silicon anode:Synthesis and prelithiation for LIBs energy storage显示文摘The ever-increasing environmental/energy crisis as well as the rapid upgrading of mobile devices had stimulated intensive research attention on promising alternative energy storage and conversion devices.Among these devices,alkali metal ion batteries,such as lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) had attracted increasing research attention due to its several advantages including,environmental friendliness,high power density,long cycle life and excellent reversibility.It had been widely used in consumer electronics,electric vehicles,and large power grids et ac.Silicon-based(silicon and their oxides,carbides) anodes had been widely studied.Its several advantages including low cost,high theoretical capacity,natural abundance,and environmental friendliness,which shows great potential as anodes of LIBs.In this review,we summarized the recently progress in the synthetic method of silicon matrix composites.The empirical method for prelithiation of silicon-based materials were also provided.Further,we also reviewed some novel characterization methods.Finally,the new design,preparation methods and properties of these nano materials were reviewed and compared.We hoped that this review can provide a general overview of recent progress and we briefly highlighted the current challenges and prospects,and will clarify the future trend of silicon anode LIBs research.Yuanxing Zhang Borong Wu Ge Mu Chengwei Ma Daobin Mu Feng Wu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1:7
4A review:Modification strategies of nickel-rich layer structure cathode(Ni≥0.8)materials for lithium ion power batteries显示文摘Lithium ion power batteries have undoubtedly become one of the most promising rechargeable batteries at present;nonetheless,they still suffer from the challenges such as requirement of even higher energy density and capacity retention.Nickel-rich layer oxides(Ni≥0.8)become ideal cathode materials to achieve the high specific capacity.Integration of optimization of synthesis process and modification of crystal structure to suppress the capacity fading can obviously improve the performance of the lithium ion batteries.This review presents the recent modification strategies of the nickel-rich layered oxide materials.Unlike in previous reviews and related papers,the specific mechanism about each type of the modification strategies is specially discussed in detail,which is mainly about inhibiting the anisotropic lattice strain and adjusting the cation mixing degree to maintain crystal structure.Based on the recent progress,the prospects and challenges of the modified nickel-rich layer cathodes to upgrade the property of lithium ion batteries are also comprehensively analyzed,and the potential applications in the field of plug-in hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles are further discussed.Haijian Lv Chunli Li Zhikun Zhao Borong Wu Daobin Mu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,9:6

6An endpoint damage oriented model for life cycle environmental impact assessment of buildings in China显示文摘The midpoint impact assessment methodology and several weighting methods that are currently used by most building Life cycle assessment (LCA) researchers in China, still have some shortcomings. In order to make the evaluation results have better temporal and spatial applicability, the endpoint impact assessment methodology was adopted in this paper. Based on the endpoint damage oriented concept, four endpoints of resource exhaustion, energy exhaustion, human health damage and ecosystem damage were selected according to the situation of China and the specialties of the building industry. Subsequently the formula for calculating each endpoint, the background value for normalization and the weighting factors were defined. Following that, an endpoint damage oriented model to evaluate the life cycle environmental impact of buildings in China was established. 7A preference-based multi-objective building performance optimization method for early design stage显示文摘A large number of cases show that the multi-objective optimization method can significantly improve building performance.The method for multi-objective building performance optimization(BPO)design has achieved rapid development in recent years.However,the BPO method still needs to be improved.Specifically,weak interaction between the optimization process and the decision-making process results in low optimization efficiency,which limits the widespread application of the optimization method in early design stage.In this paper,a new interactive BPO mode is explored to strengthen the interaction between the optimization process and decisionmaking process,and a preference-based multi-objective BPO method is proposed to account for designers'decision preferences during the optimization process,making the objective more controllable,improving the optimization efficiency and ensuring the diversity of solutions.Firstly,this paper illustrates the proposed method in detail,defines the concept of performance preference,expounds the flow of the preference-based multi-objective optimization algorithm,and proposes three indicators to evaluate the algorithm,which includes convergence speed,preference satisfaction rate,and diversity measurement.Secondly,through testing and comparison,it is found that the proposed preference-based algorithm has advantages over the non-preference optimization algorithm(represented by the NSGA-II algorithm).The proposed method leads to faster convergence and higher preference satisfaction,so it is more suitable for the BPO process in the early design stage.Specially,the proposed method can achieve 100%preference satisfaction rate with only 2400 simulations,while the non-preference method can only achieve 20%preference satisfaction rate after 5800 simulations.In this paper,a preference-based multi-objective BPO method is proposed to make the optimization process closely interact with the decision-making process and make the design preferences be accounted during the BPO process,thereby improving the optimization efficiency.In addition,this study first proposes two indicators to measure the quality of optimization results:preference satisfaction rate and diversity measurement.This study aims to guide the development of BPO methods towards providing high satisfaction rate and high quality optimization results.Borong Lin Hongzhong Chen Yanchen Liu Qiushi He Ziwei Li 2021Building Simulation2021,14,3:3
8Effects of hot pressing on electric performances of Bi_(0.5)Sb_(1.5)Te_3显示文摘The effects of hot pressing on electric performance and mechanical strength of Bi0.5Sb1.5Te3 thermoelectric material prepared through vacuum melting and milling were studied. The phase constituent and microstructure were analyzed by X-ray Diffraction and cold field emission Scanning Electric Microscope. Aeolotropisms of the material on microstructure and electric performances are approved. With the rise of hot pressing temperature (from 300-500 ℃) and pressure (30-70 MPa), electric conductivity and power factor are improved. 9Correlation of soil properties and fruit size of Callgonum mongolicum and related species显示文摘Correlations of soil properties and fruit size of Calligonum mongolicum Turcz.and related species were analyzed.The results showed that the particle size characteristics of soils for growing Calligonum mongolicum and related species were similar,and the soils belonged to sandyones.The organic matter contents of soils were low (averaging 1.772 to 3.054 g/kg),and the total salt content of soils was low too (averaging 0.471 g/kg).The pH values indicated that the soils were alkaline,varying from pH 7.65 to 10.25.The results of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and hierarchical cluster showed that 9 habitats could be divided into 6 types according to salt contents and pH values.Fruit sizes of different populations and the soil properties had significant linear correlations (P<0.000).It was concluded that the differences in fruit sizes among the populations of Calligonum mongolicum and related species were related to soil variability,especially the nutrient contents of soils,and fruit size can not be considered as a taxonomic index of Calligonum mongolicum and related species.Wei SHI BoRong PAN Habibullo SHOMURODOV 2012Journal of Arid Land2012,4,1:2

11From oral structure to molecular evidence:new insights into the evolutionary phylogeny of the ciliate order Sessilida(Protista,Ciliophora),with the establishment of two new families and new contributions to the poorly studied family Vaginicolidae显示文摘Ciliated protists represent one of the most primitive and diverse lineages of eukaryotes,with nuclear dimorphism,a distinctive sexual process(conjugation),and extensive genome rearrangements.Among divergent ciliate lineages,the peritrich order Sessilida includes members with a colonial lifestyle,which may hint to an independent evolutionary attempt for multicellularity,although they are still single-celled organisms.To date,the evolution and phylogeny of this group are still far from clear,in part due to the paucity of molecular and/or morphological data for many taxa.In this study,we extend taxon sampling of a loricate group of sessilids by obtaining 69 new r DNA(SSU r DNA,ITS1-5.8S rDNA-ITS2,and LSU r DNA)sequences from 20 wellcharacterized representative species and analyze the phylogenetic relationships within Sessilida.The main findings are:(i)the genera Rhabdostyla and Campanella each represents a unique taxon at family level,supporting the establishment of two new families,i.e.,Rhabdostylidae n.fam.and Campanellidae n.fam.,respectively,the former being sister to a morphologically heterogeneous clade comprising Astylozoidae and several incertae sedis species and the latter occupying the basal position within the Sessilida clade;(ii)the structure of infundibular polykinety 3 is likely to be a phylogenetically informative character for resolving evolutionary relationships among sessilids;(iii)differences between sparsely and the densely arranged silverline systems could be a suprageneric taxonomic character;(iv)the monophyly of Vaginicolidae is confirmed,which is consistent with its specialized morphology,i.e.,the possession of a typical peritrich lorica which might be an apomorphy for this group;(v)within Vaginicolidae,the monotypic Cothurniopsis sensu Stokes,1893 is a synonym of Cothurnia Ehrenberg,1831,and a new combination is created,i.e.,Cothurnia valvata nov.comb.;(vi)Vaginicola sensu lato comprises at least two distinctly divergent clades,one affiliated with Thuricola and the other with a systematically puzzling clade represented by Vaginicola tincta.Borong Lu Xiaozhong Hu Alan Warren Weibo Song Ying Yan 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,7:1
