1Superconvergence of a Nonconforming Finite Element Approximation to Viscoelasticity Type Equations on Anisotropic Meshes显示文摘The main aim of this paper is to study the approximation to viscoelasticity type equations with a Crouzeix-Raviart type nonconforming finite element on the anisotropic meshes. The superclose property of the exact solution and the optimal error estimate of its derivative with respect to time are derived by using some novel techniques. 4Effects of key design parameters of tine furrow opener on soil seedbed properties显示文摘The structural parameters of tine furrow openers have significant effects on soil property of seed furrow in no-till planting,thereby affecting crop growth and yields.In order to analyze the effects of key parameters of tine furrow openers on soil properties(soil bulk density,soil water-stable aggregates(WSA),and soil disturbance)of the surface soil layer of 0-10 cm and surface straw disturbance,the tine furrow openers with different structural parameters,including cutting edge thickness,cutting edge curve,penetration clearance angle and rake angle,were designed and tested under no-till conditions.Orthogonal test and single factor test were performed to analyze the effects of different parameters.Results showed that the rake angle,cutting edge thickness and cutting edge curve had significant effects on cross-sectional area of furrow(Af)and disturbance of surface straw;the rake angle had a significant effect on soil bulk density.Soil types and operating depth had significant effects on soil disturbance caused by tine furrow openers.The concave type tine furrow opener produced the lowest soil disturbance and soil bulk density of seed furrow,the highest surface straw disturbance and the greatest content of WSA(>0.5 mm).With increasing rake angles of tine furrow opener,the width of seedbed(Wsb)and the Af decreased first and then increased,respectively,while the width of soil throw(Wst)and the height of ridge(Hr)increased.The Wsb and Af created by tine furrow opener with 60°rake angle were significantly lower than that with others,respectively.The tine furrow opener with rake angle ranged from 45°to 60°created the lowest soil bulk density.As the penetration clearance angle increased,the content of WSA(>0.5 mm)decreased,but the effect of penetration clearance angle on the content of WSA(<0.5 mm)was not significant.The cutting edge thickness(<2 mm)had no significant effects on soil properties of seedbed.This study could provide a reference for optimal design of the tine furrow opener to create more suitable seedbed environment,and promote the application of the light no-till planters.Zhang Xiangcai Li Hongwen Du Ruicheng Ma Shaochun He Jin Wang Qingjie Chen Wanzhi Zheng Zhiqi Zhang Zhiqiang 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,3:7
5ACCURACY ANALYSIS OF 12-PARAMETER RECTANGULAR PLATE ELEMENTS WITH GEOMETRIC SYMMETRY显示文摘In this paper, it is proved that the double set parameter rectangular plate elements with geometric symmetry possess a very special convergence property, i.e., the consistency error due to nonconformity is of order O(h2) which is one order higher than that of ACM element and rectangular generalized conforming element proposed by Y. Q. Long, although all these elements have the same asympotical rate of convergence O(h) in the energy norm. 7Growth and metal uptake of energy sugarcane (Saccharum spp.) in different metal mine tailings with soil amendments显示文摘A pot experiment was conducted to investigate the feasibility of growing energy sugarcane(Saccharum spp.) in three different metal mine tailings(Cu, Sn and Pb/Zn tailings) amended with uncontaminated soil at different mixing ratios. The results indicated that sugarcane was highly tolerant to tailing environments. Amendments of 20% soil to Sn tailings and 30% soil to Cu tailings could increase the biomass of cane-stem for use as the raw material for bioethanol production. Heavy metals were mostly retained in roots, which indicated that sugarcane was useful for the stabilization of the tailings. Bagasse and juice, as the most valuable parts to produce bioethanol, only accounted for 0.6%– 3% and 0.6%–7% of the total metal content. 16Caspase-3 mRNA expression in rats with apoptosis of retinal photoreceptor cells显示文摘BACKGROUND: Apoptosis of retinal photoreceptor cells is a commonly pathological characteristic of various eye diseases, while caspase-3 is an important regulating gene and plays a key role in apoptosis. OBJECTIVE: To measure the expression of caspase-3 mRNA in rats with apoptosis of retinal photoreceptor cells by using real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction and compare with those of the normal rats. DESIGN: Randomized controlled animal study. SETTING: Zhongshan Ophthalmological Center of Sun Yat-sen University. MATERIALS: A total of 36 female SD rats of 50 days old and clean grade and weighing (150±10) g were provided by Experimental Animal Center of Northern Area of Sun Yat-sen University. All rats were randomly divided into normal control group (n =6) and N-methyl-N-nitrosourea (MNU) group (n =30), and they were observed at 12 hours, 1, 2, 3 and 5 days after model establishment, with 6 rats at each time point. METHODS: The experiment was carried out at Zhongshan Ophthalmological Center, Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology by State Ministry of Education from March to December 2004. Rats in the normal control group were intraperitoneally injected with saline and rats in the MNU group were intraperitoneally injected with 40 mg/kg MNU. And then, retinal photoreceptor injured models were established. At 12 hours, 1, 2, 3 and 5 days after model establishment, the rats were sacrificed for enucleating right eyeballs, isolating retina immediately and extracting total RNA. The expression of caspase-3 mRNA in retina was measured with real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Expression of caspase-3 mRNA in retina of rats in the two groups. RESULTS: A total of 36 SD rats were involved in the final analysis. The expressions of caspase-3 mRNA in the rat retina of both groups at the five time points (12 hours, 1, 2, 3 and 5 days) after model establishment were 1.52×105, 18.35×105, 25.14×105, 29.25×105, 13.72×105 and 12.24×105, respectively. The expression of caspase-3 mRNA in the MNU group increased after 12 hours of intraperitoneal injection, and rose to the top on the 2nd day, which was 19 times as many as that of the normal control group. Then, it decreased gradually and was still 8 times as many as that of the normal control group on the 5th day. 17Gastrodin modified polyurethane conduit promotes nerve repair via optimizing Schwann cells function显示文摘Peripheral nerve regeneration and functional recovery remain a major clinical challenge.Nerve guidance conduit(NGC)that can regulate biological behavior of Schwann cells(SCs)and facilitate axonal regeneration through microenvironmental remodeling is beneficial for nerve regeneration and functional recovery.Gastrodin,a main constituent of a Chinese traditional herbal medicine,has been known to display several biological and pharmacological properties,especially antioxidative,anti-inflammatory and nerve regeneration.Herein,polyurethane(PU)NGCs modified by different weight ratio of Gastrodin(0,1 and 5 wt%)were designed for sequential and sustainable drug release,that created a favorable microenvironment for nerve regeneration.The scaffold showed suitable pore structure and biocompatibility in vitro,and evidently promoted morphological and functional recovery of regenerated sciatic nerves in vivo.Compared to the PU and 1% Gastrodin/PU scaffolds,the 5% Gastrodin/PU significantly enhanced the proliferation,migration and myelination of SCs and up-regulated expression of neurotrophic factors,as well as induction of the differentiation of PC12 cells.Interestingly,the obvious anti-inflammatory response was observed in 5% Gastrodin/PU by reduced expression of TNF-α and iNOS,which also evidenced by the few fibrous capsule formation in the subcutaneous implantation.Such a construct presented a similarity to autograft in vivo repairing a 10 mm sciatic nerve defects.It was able to not only boost the regenerated area of nerve and microvascular network,but also facilitate functional axons growth and remyelination,leading to highly improved functional restoration.These findings demonstrate that the 5% Gastrodin/PU NGC efficiently promotes nerve regeneration,indicating their potential for use in peripheral nerve regeneration applications.Hongcai Yang Qing Li Limei Li Shaochun Chen Yu Zhao Yingrui Hu Lu wang Xiaoqian Lan Lianmei Zhong Di Lu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,2:1

20Turning ZrTe_5 into a semiconductor through atom intercalation显示文摘In this study we successfully intercalated potassium(K) atoms into single ZrTe_5 crystals by liquid ammonia method, and found a semimetal-to-semiconductor transition at low temperatures in K-intercalated ZrTe_5. As the K concentration increased, the resistance anomalous peak was gradually suppressed until finally disappearing. Whilst, the corresponding Hall resistance measurements consistently showed a sign reversal.
