Hierarchical ZSM-11 with intergrowth structures:Synthesis, characterization and catalytic properties显示文摘Hierarchical ZSM-11 microspheres with intercrystalline mesoporous properties and rod-like crystals intergrowth morphology have been synthesized using a spot of tetrabutylammonium as a single template.XRD,FTIR,SEM,TEM and N2 adsorption analysis revealed that each individual particle was composed of nanosized rod crystals inserting each other and the intercrystalline voids existing among rods gave a significant mesopore size distribution.Steam treatment result demonstrated the excellent hydrothermal stability of samples.Various crystallization modes including constant temperature crystallization (one-stage crystallization) and two-stage temperature-varying crystallization with different 1st stage durations were investigated. The results suggested that the crystallization modes were mainly responsible for the adjustable particle size and textural properties of samples while the small amount of tetrabutylammonium bromide was mainly used to direct the formation of both ZSM-11 framework and its intergrowth morphology.Furthermore, the performance of optimal ZSM-11 as an active component for the catalytic pyrolysis of heavy oil was also investigated.Compared with the commercial pyrolysis catalyst, the hierarchical ZSM-11 catalyst exhibited a high selectivity to desired products(LPG+gasoline+diesel),as well as a much lower dry gas and coke yield, plus a high selectivity and yield of light olefins(C=3 C=4)and very poor selectivity to benzene. Therefore, fully open micropore-mesopore connectivity would make such hierarchically porous ZSM-11 zeolites very attractive for applications in clean petrochemical catalysis field. | Qingjun Yu Chaoyue Cui Qiang Zhang Jing Chen Yang Li Jinpeng Sun Chunyi Li Qiukai Cui Chaohe Yang Honghong Shan | 2013 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2013,22,5: | 10
Advances in dielectric elastomer actuation technology显示文摘Dielectric elastomer actuators(DEAs) have attracted much interest over the past decades due to the inherent flexibility, large strain, high efficiency, high energy density, and fast response of the material, which are known as one of the most promising candidates for artificial muscle. In this paper, we first introduce the actuation principle and electromechanical modeling approaches of dielectric elastomers(DEs). Then, the performance of different DEs material and existing compliant electrodes that are widely utilized for DEAs are presented. We also highlight the compatibility of DEs, which is suitable for a variety of actuator designs and applications. Lastly, we summarize the challenges and future development in terms of electromechanical modeling, improvement of materials including compliant electrodes and dielectric elastomer, designs and applications of novel dielectric elastomer actuators. | WANG NianFeng CUI ChaoYu GUO Hao CHEN BiCheng ZHANG XianMin | 2018 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2018,61,10: | 6

Methylation across the central dogma in health and diseases: new therapeutic strategies显示文摘The proper transfer of genetic information from DNA to RNA to protein is essential for cell-fate control, development, and health.Methylation of DNA,RNAs,histones, and non-histone proteins is a reversible post-synthesis modification that finetunes gene expression and function in diverse physiological processes.Aberrant methylation caused by genetic mutations or environmental stimuli promotes various diseases and accelerates aging, necessitating the development of therapies to correct the disease-driver methylation imbalance. In this Review,we summarize the operating system of methylation across the central dogma, which includes writers, erasers, readers, and reader-independent outputs. We then discuss how dysregulation of the system contributes to neurological disorders, cancer, and aging.Current small-molecule compounds that target the modifiers show modest success in certain cancers. The methylome-wide action and lack of specificity lead to undesirable biological effects and cytotoxicity, limiting their therapeutic application, especially for diseases with a monogenic cause or different directions of methylation changes.Emerging tools capable of site-specific methylation manipulation hold great promise to solve this dilemma. With the refinement of delivery vehicles, these new tools are well positioned to advance the basic research and clinical translation of the methylation field. | Ruochen Liu Erhu Zhao Huijuan Yu Chaoyu Yuan Muhammad Nadeem Abbas Hongjuan Cui | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,9: | 0
Impacts of Climate Change on Snow Avalanche Activity Along a Transportation Corridor in the Tianshan Mountains显示文摘Snow avalanches can repeatedly occur along the same track under diferent snowpack and meteorological conditions during the snow season in areas of snow avalanche activity. The snowfall, air temperature, and snow cover can change dramatically in a warming climate, causing signifcant changes in the snow avalanche risk. But how the risk of snow avalanche activity during the snow season will change under a warming climate remains an open question.Based on the observed meteorological and snowpack data from 1968 to 2021 and the snow avalanche activity data during the 2011–2021 snow seasons along a transportation corridor in the central Tianshan Mountains that has a typical continental snow climate,we analyzed the temporal distribution of the snow avalanche activity and the impacts of climate change on it.The results indicate that the frequency of the snow avalanche activity is characterized by a Gaussian bimodal distribution, resulting from interactions between the snowfall, air temperature, and snowpack evolution. In addition, the active period of wet snow avalanches triggered by temperature surges and high solar radiation has gradually moved forward from the second half to the frst half of March with climate warming. The frequency and size of snowfall-triggered snow avalanches showed only a slight and insignifcant increase. These fndings are important for rationally arranging snow avalanche relief resources to improve the risk management of snow avalanche disasters, and highlight the necessity to immediately design risk mitigation strategies and disaster risk policies to improve our adaptation to climate change. | Jiansheng Hao Xueqin Zhang Peng Cui Lanhai Li Yan Wang Guotao Zhang Chaoyue Li | 2023 | International Journal of Disaster Risk Science2023,14,4: | 0
Result of proton beam energy calibration of GECAM satellite charged particle detector显示文摘Purpose A charged particle detector(CPD)is one of two main detectors on the GECAM satellite. It was designed to detect charged particles.Electrons and protons are space’s mainly charged particles. So,a research on the proton detection ability of a CPD and deriving the energy response to charged particles of the CPD in the two designed operating modes is important.Method The proton calibration tests of the CPD under diferent working modes were carried out at the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou.Result and conclusion Through testing and analysis,it was concluded that when CPD works in semi-component mode,it can detect the maximum energy, and when working in full-component mode,it can provide better energy resolution. | Chaoyue Zhang Xiaohua Liang Yanbing Xu Wenxi Peng Jianjian He Dongya Guo Ke Gong Yaqing Liu Zhenghua An Dali Zhang Sheng Yang Xiaojing Liu Xiangyang Wen Rui Qiao Jinzhou Wang Min Gao Shaolin Xiong Fan Zhang Xinqiao Li Xingzhu Cui Chaoyang Li Jilong Tang Xiaohua Wang Dengkui Wang Zhipeng Wei | 2022 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2022,6,1: | 0
