1Magnetic-biased chiral molecules enabling highly oriented photovoltaic perovskites显示文摘The interaction between sites A,B and X with passivation molecules is restricted when the conventional passivation strategy is applied in perovskite(ABX3)photovoltaics.Fortunately,the revolving A-site presents an opportunity to strengthen this interaction by utilizing an external field.Herein,we propose a novel approach to achieving an ordered magnetic dipole moment,which is regulated by a magnetic field via the coupling effect between the chiral passivation molecule and the A-site(formamidine ion)in perovskites.This strategy can increase the molecular interaction energy by approximately four times and ensure a well-ordered molecular arrangement.The quality of the deposited perovskite film is significantly optimized with inhibited nonradiative recombination.It manages to reduce the open-circuit voltage loss of photovoltaic devices to 360 mV and increase the power conversion efficiency to 25.22%.This finding provides a new insight into the exploration of A-sites in perovskites and offers a novel route to improving the device performance of perovskite photovoltaics.Jing Chen Caner Deger Zhen-Huang Su Kai-Li Wang Guang-Peng Zhu Jun-Jie Wu Bing-Chen He Chun-Hao Chen Tao Wang Xing-Yu Gao Ilhan Yavuz Yan-Hui Lou Zhao-Kui Wang Liang-Sheng Liao 2024National Science Review2024,11,2:0
2Lattice strain suppresses point defect formation in halide perovskites显示文摘We computationally investigate the impact of crystal strain on the formation of native point defects likely to be formed in halide perovskites;A-site cation antisite(I_(A)),Pb antisite(I_(Pb)),A-site cation vacany(V_(A)),I vacancy(V_(I)),Pb vacancy(V_(Pb)),and I interstitial(I_(i)).We systematically identify compressive and tensile strain to CsPbI_(3),FAPbI_(3),and MAPbI_(3)perovskite structures.We observe that while each type of defect has a unique behaviour,overall,the defect formation in FAPbI3 is much more sensitive to the strain.The compressive strain can enhance the formation energy of neutral I_(Pb)and I_(i)up to 15%for FAPbI_(3),depending on the growth conditions.We show that the strain not only controls the formation of defects but also their transition levels in the band gap:A deep level can be transformed into a shallow level by the strain.We anticipate that tailoring the lattice strain can be used as a defect passivation mechanism for future studies.Caner Deger Shaun Tan K.N.Houk Yang Yang Ilhan Yavuz 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:0
