| 4 | DEFENDERS AT THE ORIGIN OF THE YARLUNG ZANGBO RIVER显示文摘The County of Drongpa lies in the farthest west of Shigatse,north of the Himalayas.It is west to Ngari,south to Nepal,east to Tsochen of Ngari and Saga of Shigatse.With an average altitude of 5,000 meters,Drongpa accounts for nearly one quarter of Shigatse’s total area.In Drongpa,there are the Gyalma Yamgzom glaciers,from which the Yarlung Zangbo River originates.
