| 1 | Study on falling film generation heat transfer of lithium bromide solution in vertical tubes显示文摘Falling film generation process in lithium bromide absorption refrigeration generation system is researched in thispaper. To describe the coupled heat and mass transfer of laminar falling film in vertical generation tube, a mathematicalmodel is developed, in which the effect of mass transfer on heat transfer is carefully evaluated. Moreover,an equation related Re number with solution volume flow was also obtained in given conditions. We carried outthe experiments with the mass fraction of the inlet solution LiBr being 49.5% and obtained an empirical correlationof heat transfer with the film Re number and heat flux in different volume flow. | 5 | Mathematical Simulation of Lithium Bromide Solution Laminar Falling Film Evaporation in Vertical Tube显示文摘For utilization of the residual heat of flue gas to drive the absorption chillers,a lithium-bromide falling film in vertical tube type generator is presented.A mathematical model was developed to simulate the heat and mass coupled problem of laminar falling film evaporation in vertical tube.In the model,the factor of mass transfer was taken into account in heat transfer performance calculation.The temperature and concentration fields were calculated.Some tests were conducted for the factors such as Re number,heating flux,the inlet concentration and operating pressure which can affect the heat and mass transfer performance in laminar falling film evaporation.The heat transfer performance is enhanced with the increasing of heat flux.An increasing inlet concentration can weaken the heat transfer performance.The operating pressure hardly affects on heat and mass transfer.The bigger inlet Re number means weaker heat transfer effects and stronger mass transfer.The mass transfer obviously restrains the heat transfer in the falling film solution.The relation between dimensionless heat transfer coefficient and the inlet Re number is obtained. | Chengming Shi YangWang Huili Hu YingYang | 2010 | Journal of Thermal Science2010,19,3: | 3 |
| 6 | Comparative transcriptome analysis during early fruit development between three seedy citrus genotypes and their seedless mutants显示文摘Identification of genes with differential transcript abundance(GDTA)in seedless mutants may enhance understanding of seedless citrus development.Transcriptome analysis was conducted at three time points during early fruit development(Phase 1)of three seedy citrus genotypes:Fallglo(Bower citrus hybrid(Citrus reticulata×C.reticulata×C.paradisi)×Temple(C.reticulata×C.sinensis)),grapefruit(C.paradisi),Pineapple sweet orange(C.sinensis),and their seedless mutants.Seed abortion in seedless mutants was observed at 26 days post anthesis(Time point 2).Affymetrix transcriptomic analysis revealed 359 to 1077 probe sets with differential transcript abundance in the comparison of seedless versus seedy fruits for each citrus genotypes and time points.The GDTA identified by 18 microarray probe sets were validated by qPCR.Hierarchical clustering analysis revealed a range of GDTA associated with development,hormone and protein metabolism,all of which may reflect genes associated with seedless fruit development.There were 14,9 and 12 genes found exhibiting similar abundance ratios in all three seedless versus seedy genotype comparisons at time point 1,2 and 3,respectively.Among those genes were genes coding for an aspartic protease and a cysteine protease,which may play important roles in seedless fruit development.New insights into seedless citrus fruit development may contribute to biotech approaches to create seedless cultivars. | Shujian Zhang Qingchun Shi Ute Albrecht Robert G Shatters Jr Ric Stange Greg McCollum Shuo Zhang Chengming Fan Ed Stover | 2017 | Horticulture Research2017,4,1: | 2 |

| 8 | Analysis and Application of Variable Conductance Heat Pipe Air Preheater显示文摘The heat transfer analysis of variable conductance heat pipe air preheater was carried out. The temperature trans-fer matrix was obtained for the air preheater that comprises several discrete heat transfer units with same or different heat transfer surface area in a parallel or counter flow mode. By using the temperature transfer matrix, the outlet fluid temperatures could be easily calculated for a given air preheater and inlet fluid temperatures. The active length of condenser in a variable conductance heat pipe is determined according to the flat interface model. With the same initial conditions, the comparisons between variable conductance heat-pipe air preheater and regular heat pipe air preheater has been analyzed and tested in terms of heat pipe wall temperature, heat transfer surface area and outlet fluid temperatures.
