| 1 | An improved OFDM chirp waveform used for MIMO SAR system显示文摘Special attention has been devoted to multi-input multi-output(MIMO)synthetic aperture radar(SAR)systems in recent years.The applications of MIMO SAR systems which involve 3D imaging,highresolution wide-swath remote sensing,and multi-baseline interferometry are seriously limited to the orthogonal waveforms.Although orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)chirp waveforms can be used for MIMO SAR systems to avoid intra-pulse interferences,there is a small frequency shift between the transmitted OFDM pulses.This vulnerable shift,which can not only affect the waveform orthogonality,but also introduce residual phase error,renders the OFDM waveforms impractical.In this paper,an improved OFDM chirp waveform which works without the mentioned shift is presented,along with the novel modulation and efficient demodulation procedures.Comparison between the improved and the conventional OFDM chirp waveforms is detailed.The influence of random noise,quantization error,and Doppler shift on the orthogonality of OFDM waveform is also investigated in this paper.Theoretical analysis and simulation results illustrate the feasibility of this waveform scheme. | WANG Jie LIANG XingDong DING ChiBiao CHEN LongYong ZHOU LiangJiang DONG YongWei | 2014 | Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,6: | 6 |

| 11 | Geometric constraints based 3D reconstruction method of tomographic SAR for buildings显示文摘The mainstream methods of tomographic synthetic aperture radar(tomoSAR)3D reconstruction are usually realized by processing the registered 2D SAR images pixel by pixel without considering the geometric structure of the observed targets.As a class of targets with regular facades,tomo SAR 3D reconstruction of buildings is of important application value nowadays.In this study,to optimize the tomo SAR3D reconstruction results of buildings,we first introduce and analyze the tomo SAR 3D reconstruction theory based on a back projection imaging algorithm and then present a tomo SAR 3D reconstruction method based on geometric constraints.We can accurately extract the building’s facade as the geometric constraints by processing and fusing the point density map and the height map extracted from the spatial distribution of the tomo SAR 3D point cloud.Taking the extracted geometric structure of the building’s facade and signal to noise ratio(SNR)of registered 2D SAR images as prior information,we then impose geometric constraints on tomo SAR sparse 3D reconstruction with an adaptive iterative shrinkage-thresholding algorithm and achieve an optimized tomo SAR 3D reconstruction result.Finally,measured data of a P-band airborne tomo SAR system is used.3D reconstruction results show that the proposed method outperforms the traditional methods without geometric constraints regarding 3D reconstruction performance,which proves the validity and practicality of our proposed method. | Dong HAN Zekun JIAO Liangjiang ZHOU Chibiao DING Yirong WU | 2023 | Science China(Information Sciences)2023,66,1: | 1 |
| 12 | WATERMARKING WITH REFINED PERCEPTUAL MASKING TUNED FOR SYNTHETIC APERTURE RADAR IMAGES显示文摘A watermarking scheme designed for remote sensing images needs to meet the same demand of both invisibility as for ordinary digital images. Due to specific perceptual characteristics of Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) images, the watermarking algorithms with consideration of Human Vision System(HVS) modeling from optical images give poor performance when applied on SAR images. This paper examines a variety of factors affecting the noise sensitivity, and further proposes a refined pixel-wise masking approach for watermarking on SAR images. The proposed approach is applied on logarithmic transformed SAR images, and has increased the acceptable watermark embedding strength by about 6 dB to 10 dB while achieving the same levels of watermarked image visual quality.
