1Efficacy and safety evaluation of icotinib in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of icotinib hydrochloride in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: A total of 89 patients with stage ⅢB or IV NSCLC received icotinib at a dose of 125 mg administered 3 times a day. Icotinib treatment was continued until disease progression or development of unacceptable toxicity. Results: A total of 89 patients were assessable. In patients treated with icotinib, the overall response rate (RR) was 36.0% (32/89), and the disease control rate (DCR) was 69.7% (62/89). RR and DCR were significantly improved in patients with adenocarcinoma versus non-adenocarcinoma (P<0.05). The symptom improvement rate was 57.3% (51/89), and the main symptoms improved were cough, pain, chest distress, dyspnea, and Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status. The main toxic effects were rash [30/89 (33.7%)] and diarrhea [15/89 (16.9%)]. The level of toxicity was typically low. 2The Impacts of Maternal Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) on Fetal Hearts显示文摘Objective To evaluate the fetal cardiac function in gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) pregnancies under different maternal glycemic controls.Methods Forty four GDM mothers received 78 fetal echocardiographic evaluations at three gestational periods (<28,28-34 and ≥34 weeks) and were divided into poorly-(DM1) and well-(DM2) controlled groups according to their glycemic control at examination.Seventy uncomplicated mothers were selected as controls.Parameters of fetal cardiac anatomy and function were measured and analyzed.Results GDM fetuses' cardiac ventricular walls were thicker than controls',and the differences between DM1 and DM2 were not significant except for end-diastolic left ventricular walls.In both GDM groups,the aortic flow velocities increased earlier than pulmonary artery and DM1 fetuses changed earlier than DM2 ones.GDM fetuses' left atrial shortening fraction was smaller than the controls' in the period of ≥34 weeks and negatively correlated with thicknesses of left ventricular walls and interventricular septum in DM1 fetuses (r=-0.438 and -0.506).The right ventricular diastolic function in DM1 and DM2 fetuses decreased after the period of 28-34 weeks and in the period of ≥34 weeks respectively.Tei index of both left and right ventricles increased in DM1 group after the period of<28 weeks and in DM2 group only in the period of ≥34 weeks,with no significant differences between DM1 and DM2 groups in this period.Conclusion Fetuses of GDM mothers showed cardiac function impairments.Good maternal glycemic control may delay the impairments,but cannot reduce the degree.Some cardiac changes in GDM fetuses were similar to those in pregestational diabetic pregnancies except for several parameters and their changing time.CHU Chen GUI Yong Hao PEN Yun Yun SHI Li Ye 2012Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2012,25,1:20

5Genetic Analysis and Primary Mapping of pms4, a Photoperiod-Sensitive Genic Male Sterility Gene in Rice (Oryza sativa)显示文摘To understand the genetic characteristics of a new photoperiod-sensitive genic male sterile line Mian 9S, some reciprocal crosses were made between Mian 9S and six indica rice materials, Yangdao 6, Luhui 602, Shuihui 527, Mianhui 725, Fuhui 838 and Yixiang 1B. Genetic analysis results suggested that the photoperiod-sensitive genic male sterility (PGMS) of Mian 9S was controlled by a single recessive nuclear gene. Thus, the F2 population derived from the cross of Yangdao 6/Mian 9S was used to map the PGMS gene in Mian 9S. By using SSR markers, the PGMS gene of Mian 9S was mapped on one side of the markers, RM6659 and RM1305, on rice chromosome 4, with the genetic distances of 3.0 cM and 3.5 cM, respectively. The gene was a novel PGMS gene and designated tentatively as pms4. 7A Five-year Surveillance of Carbapenemase-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae in a Pediatric Hospital in China Reveals Increased Predominance of NDM-1显示文摘Objective To characterize carbapenem(CPM)-non-susceptible Klebsiel a pneumoniae(K. pneumoniae) and carbape-nemase produced by these strains isolated from Beijing Children's Hospital based on a five-year surveillance. Methods The Minimal Inhibition Concentration values for 15 antibiotics were assessed using the Phonix100 compact system. PCR amplification and DNA sequencing were used to detect genes encoding carbapenemases. WHONET 5.6 was finally used for resistance analysis. Results In total, 179 strains of CPM-non-susceptible K. pneumoniae were isolated from January, 2010 to December, 2014. The rates of non-susceptible to imipenem and meropenem were 95.0% and 95.6%, respectively. In the 179 strains, 95(53.1%) strains carried the blaIMP gene, and IMP-4 and IMP-8 were detected in 92(96.8%) and 3(3.2%) IMP-producing isolates, respectively. 65(36.3%) strains carried the blaNDM-1 gene. 6(3.4%) strains carried the blaKPC gene, and KPC-2 were detected in 6 KPC-producing isolates. In addition, New Delhi-Metallo-1(NDM-1) producing isolates increased from 7.1% to 63.0% in five years and IMP-4 producing isolates decreased from 75.0% to 28.3%. Conclusion High frequencies of multiple resistances to antibiotics were observed in the CPM-non-susceptible K. pneumoniae strains isolated from Beijing Children's Hospital. 9Catalytic properties of Cu-Co catalysts supported on HNO_3-pretreated CNTs for higher-alcohol synthesis显示文摘HNO 3 -pretreated CNTs were employed as supports, and a special ultrasound-assisted impregnation method was designed to prepare supported Cu-Co catalysts for higher-alcohol synthesis from syngas. The catalysts used in this work were characterized by N 2 adsorption-desorption, TEM, XRD, H 2 -TPR, CO-TPD techniques. It was found that the pre-treatment procedure of CNTs remarkably promoted the catalytic properties of the Cu-Co/CNTs catalysts. For the Cu-Co catalyst supported on CNTs pre-treated by 68 wt% HNO 3 , some active components were introduced into the CNTs channels, their dispersions and the amount of strongly adsorbed CO-species were improved. 11Vehicle Planar Motion Stability Study for Tyres Working in Extremely Nonlinear Region显示文摘Many researches on vehicle planar motion stability focus on two degrees of freedom(2DOF) vehicle model,and only the lateral velocity (or side slip angle) and yaw rate are considered as the state variables.The stability analysis methods,such as phase plane analysis,equilibriums analysis and bifurcation analysis,are all used to draw many classical conclusions.It is concluded from these researches that unbounded growth of the vehicle motion during unstable operation is untrue in reality thus one limitation of the 2DOF model.The fundamental assumption of the 2DOF model is that the longitudinal velocity is treated as a constant,but this is intrinsically incorrect.When tyres work in extremely nonlinear region,the coupling between the vehicle longitudinal and lateral motion becomes significant.For the purpose of solving the above problem,the effect of vehicle longitudinal velocity on the stability of the vehicle planar motion when tyres work in extremely nonlinear region is investigated.To this end,a 3DOF model which introducing the vehicular longitudinal dynamics is proposed and the 3D phase space portrait method is employed for visualization of vehicle dynamics.Through the comparisons of the 2DOF and 3DOF models,it is discovered that the vehicle longitudinal velocity greatly affects the vehicle planar motion,and the vehicle dynamics represented in phase space portrait are fundamentally different from that of the 2DOF model.The vehicle planar motion with different front wheel steering angles is further represented by the corresponding vehicle route,yaw rate and yaw angle.These research results enhance the understanding of the stability of the vehicle system particularly during nonlinear region,and provide the insight into analyzing the attractive region and designing the vehicle stability controller,which will be the topics of future works.LIU Li SHI Shuming SHEN Shuiwen CHU Jiangwei 2010Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2010,23,2:8
12A novel two-layered optical satellite network of LEO/MEO with zero phase factor显示文摘Optical satellite communication has advantages over the RF satellite communication in capacity, speed, secrecy and anti-interference.Space information superhighway composed of GEO/MEO/LEO satellites which are linked by optical inter-satellite links(OISL) would play important roles in communication, navigation, martial recon, remote sensing and deep space exploration.A novel LEO/MEO two-layered optical satellite network with global coverage is designed with the street-of-coverage technique.The layer of LEO satellites is the walker-delta constellation with zero phase factor and has the quasi-stable logical structure of Mesh.Equatorial and polar orbit satellites constitute the layer of MEO satellite, which can cover LEO layer effectively.Rising satellites of the system can provide 99.9% of coverage for the whole globe and 100% for China averagely.The network can provide a minimum elevation angle at 21 ? with single-satellite visibility for China, and at 16 ? with the dual-satellite visibility.Simulation results of the inter-satellite links show LEO constellation of zero phase factor outperforms non-zero phase factor constellations in azimuth angle, elevation angle and distance, which is very fit for the OISL.Simulation results of the communication performance indicate a little difference between short wave band and long wave band at low communication speed(several Gbit/s);however, the wave band at 1550 nm is a better choice at high communication speed(100 Gbit/s).LI YongJun , WU JiLi, ZHAO ShangHong, MENG Wen, MA LiHua, SHI Lei, CHU XingChun, HOU Rui & LI Tian Telecommunication Engineering Institute, Air Force Engineering University, Xi’an 710077, China 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,6:8
13The Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST)显示文摘The Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST, also called the Guo Shou Jing Telescope) is a special reflecting Schmidt telescope. LAMOST's special design allows both a large aperture (effective aperture of 3.6 m-4.9 m) and a wide field of view (FOV) (5°). It has an innovative active reflecting Schmidt configuration which continuously changes the mirror's surface that adjusts during the observation process and combines thin deformable mirror active optics with segmented active optics. Its primary mirror (6.67m×6.05 m) and active Schmidt mirror (5.74m×4.40 m) are both segmented, and composed of 37 and 24 hexagonal sub-mirrors respectively. By using a parallel controllable fiber positioning technique, the focal surface of 1.75 m in diameter can accommodate 4000 optical fibers. Also, LAMOST has 16 spectrographs with 32 CCD cameras. LAMOST will be the telescope with the highest rate of spectral acquisition. As a national large scientific project, the LAMOST project was formally proposed in 1996, and approved by the Chinese government in 1997. The construction started in 2001, was completed in 2008 and passed the official acceptance in June 2009. The LAMOST pilot survey was started in October 2011 and the spectroscopic survey will launch in September 2012. Up to now, LAMOST has released more than 480 000 spectra of objects. 14Cholesterol transport through the peroxisome-ER membrane contacts tethered by PI(4,5)P2 and extended synaptotagmins显示文摘Most mammalian cells take up cholesterol from low-density lipoproteins(LDLs) via receptor-mediated endocytosis.After reaching lysosomes,LDL-derived cholesterol continues to transport to downstream organelles including the ER for specific structural and functional needs.Peroxisomes are recently found to receive cholesterol from lysosomes through lysosomeperoxisome membrane contacts.However,whether and how cholesterol is conveyed from peroxisomes to the ER remain unknown.Here,by combining high-resolution microscopic analyses and in vitro reconstitution of highly purified organelles or artificial liposomes,we demonstrate that peroxisomes form membrane contacts with the ER through the interaction between peroxisomal PI(4,5)P2 and ER-resident extended synaptotagmin-1,2 and 3(E-Syts).Depletion of peroxisomal PI(4,5)P2 or ESyts markedly decreases peroxisome-ER membrane contacts and induces cholesterol accumulation in lysosomes.Furthermore,we show that cholesterol is delivered from 3H-labeled peroxisomes or PI(4,5)P2-containing liposomes to the ER in vitro,and that the presence of peroxisomes augments cholesterol transfer from lysosomes to the ER.Together,our study reveals a new cholesterol transport pathway along the lysosome-peroxisome-ER membrane contacts in the cell.Jian Xiao Jie Luo Ao Hu Ting Xiao Meixin Li Zekai Kong Luyi Jiang Zimu Zhou Yacheng Liao Chang Xie Beibei Chu Honghua Miao Boliang Li Xiongjie Shi Bao-Liang Song 2019Science China(Life Sciences)2019,62,9:8

16Selective laser melting of near-α titanium alloy Ti-6Al-2Zr-1Mo-1V:Parameter optimization, heat treatment and mechanical performance显示文摘This paper presents a comprehensive study conducted to optimize the selective laser melting(SLM)parameters and subsequent heat-treatment temperatures for near-α high-temperature titanium alloy Ti-6 Al-2 Zr-1 Mo-1 V(TA15),which is widely used in the aerospace industry.Based on the surface morphology and relative density analysis,the optimized process parameters were:laser power from 230 W to 380 W,scan speed from 675 mm/s to 800 mm/s,scan spacing of 0.12 mm,and layer thickness of0.03 mm.The effects of the laser power and the layer thickness on the phase constitutions,microstructure features,as well as room-temperature and high-temperature(500℃) tensile properties,were then studied to obtain an in-depth understanding of SLM-built TA15.Six typical temperatures(650,750,850,950,1000 and 1100℃) covering three representative temperature ranges,i.e.,martensite partial decomposition temperature range,martensite complete decomposition temperature range and above βtransus temperature,were subsequently selected as heat-treatment temperatures.The heat treatmentmicrostructure-mechanical property relationships of SLM-built TA15 were elucidated in detail.These results provide valuable information on the development of SLM-built TA15 alloy for industrial applications,and these findings are also beneficial to additive manufacturing of other near-α Ti alloys with desirable high-temperature properties.Chao Cai Xu Wu Wan Liu Wei Zhu Hui Chen Jasper Chu Dong Qiu Chen-Nan Sun Jie Liu Qingsong Wei Yusheng Shi 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,54,22:7

20Production of thick-walled hollow glass microspheres for inertial confinement fusion targets by sol-gel technology显示文摘To fabricate thick-walled hollow glass microspheres(HGMs)for inertial confinement fusion(ICF)targets by sol-gel technology,we investigated the effects of glass composition,blowing agent,refining temperature,pressure and composition of furnace atmosphere on the wall thickness of HGMs by numerical simulation and experiments.The results showed that the residence times of the thick-walled HGMs in the encapsulating and refining phases decreased with the increase of wall thickness of HGMs.As a response to this challenge,glass composition must be optimized with the object of high surface tension and low viscosity at refining temperature,and the blowing agents with high decomposition temperature should be used,furthermore the concentration of blowing agents in gel particles must also be precisely controlled.The higher volume fraction of argon gas in the furnace atmosphere,the thicker the wall of HGMs.Due to the limited operating range of furnace atmosphere pressure,changing furnace atmosphere pressure could not significantly increase the wall thickness of HGMs.Although increasing refining temperature can improve the yield of high quality HGMs,a higher furnace atmosphere temperature may lead to a decrease in the wall thickness of HGMs.When the volume fraction of argon gas in the furnace atmosphere ranged from 80%to 95%,the furnace atmosphere pressure ranged from 1.0×105Pa to 1.25×105 Pa,and the refining temperature ranged from 1600°C to 1800°C,we produced thick-walled(5–10-m)HGMs with good sphericity,wall thickness uniformity and surface finish.However,the yield of high quality HGMs needs to be further improved.The compressive strength,tensile strength and permeation coefficient to deuterium gas of thick-walled HGMs at ambient temperature decreased with increase of the wall thickness.GAO Cong QI XiaoBo WEI Sheng ZHANG ZhanWen LI Bo SHI Tao CHU QiaoMei 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,9:6
