1Exosomal long non-coding RNAs:Emerging players in cancer metastasis and potential diagnostic biomarkers for personalized oncology显示文摘Metastasis is a major challenge in the treatment of cancer.Exosomes are a class of small extracellular vesicles(EVs)that play critical roles in several human diseases,especially cancer,by transferring information(e.g.,DNA,RNA,and protein)via cell-to-cell communication.Numerous recent studies have shown that exosomal long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)play crucial regulatory roles in cancer metastasis in the tumor microenvironment by altering the expression of several key signaling pathways and molecules.Due to their specificity and sensitivity,exosomal lncRNAs have potential as novel tumor markers and therapeutic targets in the treatment of cancer metastasis.In this review,we aim to summarize the roles of exosomal lncRNAs in cancer metastasis,the mechanisms underlying their roles,and their potential clinical applications.Hui Nie Zhujun Liao Yutong Wang Jianhua Zhou Xiaoyun He Chunlin Ou 2021Genes & Diseases2021,8,6:1
2lncRNA cytoskeleton regulator RNA(CYTOR):Diverse functions in metabolism,inflammation and tumorigenesis,and potential applications in precision oncology显示文摘Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)are a novel class of non-coding RNA(ncRNA),that have been studied extensively in the field of tumor research in recent years.In the case of tumor-associated lncRNAs,lncRNA cytoskeleton regulator RNA(CYTOR)displays extensive functions in tumorigenesis,including invasion,metastasis,malignant proliferation,glycolysis,and inflammatory response.Moreover,the dysregulation of CYTOR is closely related to clinicopathological characteristics,such as tumor stage,lymph node metastasis and infiltration,and poor prognosis of tumor patients.In this review,we provide a novel strategy to summarize the biological functions and clinical value of CYTOR in tumors through an overview of the literature combined with gene set enrichment analysis.A deeper understanding of the role of CYTOR in tumorigenesis may provide new diagnostic,prognostic and therapeutic markers for human tumors.Chunlin Ou Xiaoyun He Yong Liu Xin Zhang 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,2:0
3Preparation and properties of bifunctional Gd_(2)O_(3)/GQD composite nanoparticles显示文摘Nanocomposites of graphene quantum dots(GQDs)modified gadolinium oxide(Gd_(2)O_(3))particles were successfully synthesized.In addition,the effects of the amount of GQDs and the particle size of Gd_(2)O_(3)on the properties of nanocomposites were investigated.The structures and properties of nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,field emission scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,photoluminescence spectrometry,and magnetic resonance imaging.The results show that the synthesized particles Gd_(2)O_(3)/GQD are spherical with a diameter of approximately 40 nm and have excellent fluorescence and magnetic property,and its relaxation rate(r_(1)=25.18(mmol/L)^(-1)/s)is higher than that of the typical commercial contrast agents Gd-DTPA(r_(1)=4.5(mmol/L)^(-1)/s),The fluorescence property of Gd_(2)O_(3)/GQD is optimized by varying the V_(GQDs):V_(Gd2O3)ratio,and 1:1 ratio of V_(GQDs):V_(Gd2O3)results in the best fluorescence property.The large particles of Gd_(2)O_(3)improve the relaxation property of nanocomposites.Therefore,the nanocomposites Gd_(2)O_(3)/GQD with magnetic and fluorescence characteristics can be used in biological imaging,drug targeting,and in-vivo diagnostic analysis.Chengjie Xu Meigui Ou Hao Zhou Chunlin Yang 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,7:0
