Secure Big Data Storage and Sharing Scheme for Cloud Tenants显示文摘The Cloud is increasingly being used to store and process big data for its tenants and classical security mechanisms using encryption are neither sufficiently efficient nor suited to the task of protecting big data in the Cloud. In this paper,we present an alternative approach which divides big data into sequenced parts and stores them among multiple Cloud storage service providers.Instead of protecting the big data itself, the proposed scheme protects the mapping of the various data elements to each provider using a trapdoor function.Analysis, comparison and simulation prove that the proposed scheme is efficient and secure for the big data of Cloud tenants. | CHENG Hongbing RONG Chunming HWANG Kai WANG Weihong LI Yanyan | 2015 | China Communications2015,12,6: | 10
A novel key pre-distribution scheme for wireless distributed sensor networks显示文摘A novel key pre-distribution scheme for sensor networks is proposed, which enables sensor nodes to communicate securely with each other using cryptographic techniques. The approach uses the rational normal curves in the projective space with the dimension n over the finite field F q . Both secure connectivity and resilience of the resulting sensor networks are analyzed. By choosing the parameters q and n properly, this key pre-distribution scheme has some advantages over the previous known schemes. In addition, if the number of the rational normal curves in the scheme becomes too large for an application, the size may be reduced by choosing a part of the curves randomly. This reduction has, shown by our experiments, only minimal impact on secure connectivity and resilience of the resulting sensor network. | PEI DingYi DONG JunWu RONG ChunMing | 2010 | Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,2: | 6

Chloroaluminate ionic liquid catalyzed isomerization of n-pentane in the presence of product distribution improver显示文摘The ionic liquid Et3NHCl-2AlCl3 can catalyze the isomerization of n-pentane.This paper investigates the ionic liquid catalyzed isomerization performance of n-pentane with several product distribution improvers in an autoclave. The product distribution of n-pentane isomerization could be improved by such improvers as benzene, cyclohexane, and methyl cyclohexane at the expense of conversion of n-pentane.The optimal product distribution improver was determined to be cyclohexane. The yield of isomerate and the selectivity of liquid isoalkanes increased, whereas the conversion of n-pentane decreased, with increasing cyclohexane amount. At the same conversion of n-pentane,the research octane number(RON) of liquid product, with cyclohexane amount of 0.5 wt%,was about 1.3 higher than that without cyclohexane. At the same reaction conditions, the presence of cyclohexane enhanced the yield of isomerate, the selectivity of liquid isoalkanes, and the RON of the liquid product, but reduced the conversion of n-pentane. | Xia Rong'an Zhang Rui Meng Xianghai Liu Zhichang Meng Jiaying Xu Chunming | 2011 | Petroleum Science2011,8,2: | 1

Integrating big data and blockchain to manage energy smart grids—TOTEM framework显示文摘The demand for electricity is increasing exponentially day by day, especially with the arrival of electric vehicles. In the smart community neighborhood project, electricity should be produced at the household or community level and sold or bought according to the demands.Since the actors can produce, sell, and buy according to the demands, thus the name prosumers.ICT solutions can contribute to this in several ways, such as machine learning for analyzing the household data for customer demand and peak hours for the usage of electricity, blockchain as a trustworthy platform for selling or buying, data hub,and ensuring data security and privacy of prosumers.TOTEM:Token for controlled computation is a framework that allows users to analyze the data without moving the data from the data owner's environment. It also ensures the data security and privacy of the data. Here,in this article,we will show the importance of the TOTEM architecture in the EnergiX project and how the extended version of TOTEM can be efficiently merged with the demands of the current and similar projects. | Dhanya Therese Jose Jørgen Holme Antorweep Chakravorty Chunming Rong | 2022 | Blockchain(Research and Applications)2022,3,3: | 0
Edge Computing显示文摘Edge computing refers to the computing paradigm in which the processing power, communication capabilities and intelligence are pushed down to the edge of the networking system like gateways and devices, where the data originates. In doing so, edge computing enables an infrastructure for processing the data directly from devices with low latency, battery consumption and bandwidth cost. With opportunities for research and advanced applications such as augmented reality and wearable cognitive assistance come new challenges. This special issue reports the current re? search on various topics related to edge computing, addressing the challenges in the enabling technologies and practical implementations. | CAO Jiannong RONG Chunming | 2017 | ZTE Communications2017,15,2: | 0
Blockchain-based prosumer incentivization for peak mitigation through temporal aggregation and contextual clustering显示文摘Peak mitigation is of interest to power companies as peak periods may require the operator to over provision supply in order to meet the peak demand.Flattening the usage curve can result in cost savings, both for the power companies and the end users.Integration of renewable energy into the energy infrastructure presents an opportunity to use excess renewable generation to supplement supply and alleviate peaks. In addition, demand side management can shift the usage from peak to off-peak times and reduce the magnitude of peaks. In this work,we present a data driven approach for incentive-based peak mitigation.Understanding user energy profiles is an essential step in this process. We begin by analysing a popular energy research dataset published by the Ausgrid corporation.Extracting aggregated user energy behavior in temporal contexts and semantic linking and contextual clustering give us insight into consumption and rooftop solar generation patterns. We implement, and performance test a blockchain-based prosumer incentivization system. The smart contract logic is based on our analysis of the Ausgrid dataset. Our implementation is capable of supporting 792,540 customers with a reasonably low infrastructure footprint. | Nikita Karandikar Rockey Abhishek Nishant Saurabh Zhiming Zhao Alexander Lercher Ninoslav Marina Radu Prodan Chunming Rong Antorweep Chakravorty | 2021 | Blockchain(Research and Applications)2021,2,2: | 0
