3Transmission characteristics of linearly polarized light in reflection-type one-dimensional magnetophotonic crystals显示文摘The propagation properties of linearly polarized light in reflection・type one-dimensional magnetoph tonic crystals are studied by using the 4×4 transmission matrix method.The structure models of reflectiotype one-dimensional magnetophotonic crystals are designed,the magnetic field direction control characteristics of reflection spectrum and Kerr rotation angle are discussed,and the effect of applied magnetic field direction and strength on reflection spectrum and Kerr rotation angle are analyzed.The results show that the non-diagonal elements in the dielectric constant of magneto optical materials change when the angle φ between applied magnetic field and optical path changes,the reflectivity and Kerr rotation angle decrease when the angle φ increases;when the applied magnetic field strength changes,the reflectivity and Kerr rotation angle increase when the applied magnetic field strength increases;by adjusting the angleφ and strength of the applied magnetic field,the rotation angle of Kerr can be adjusted to 45°,and a more flat reflection spectrum can be obtained by designing the appropriate structure.Chunxiang ZENG Zeqing WANG Yingmao XIE 2019Frontiers of Optoelectronics2019,12,4:0
4The Earth Summit Mission-2022:Successful ozone soundings contribute to source identification in the north Mt.Qomolangma region显示文摘As part of“The Earth Summit Mission-2022”during the second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research(STEP)in April and May 2022,we conducted the ozone sounding experiment(an ozonesonde mated to a radiosonde)at Mt.Qomolangma Base Camp(MQBC;86.85°E,28.14°N;5200 m),a location at an extremely high altitude.A total of ten sounding profiles were obtained between April 30 and May 06,2022,of which seven profiles were above35 km in altitude,with a maximum detection altitude up to 39.0 km.This study presents the temporal variation and vertical distributions of atmospheric temperature,humidity,and ozone during the MQBC campaign.The averaged ozone concentration was high(68.3 ppbv)at the surface and then increased smoothly until peaking(~110 ppbv)in the middle troposphere(approximately 10 km),and afterward,the ozone concentration increased rapidly from the upper troposphere to a maximum of~10 ppmv at~30 km.The enhanced ozone concentration in the middle troposphere was associated with the blocking high pressure,and transport from the southern flank of the Himalayas occurred during the campaign period.The average total ozone column was 291.9±21.4 DU for the seven profiles exceeding 35km in altitude.The ozonesonde measurements were also compared with the vertical ozone profiles retrieved from the space-borne ozone products from the Microwave Limb Sounder(MLS)onboard the Aura satellite and the Atmospheric Infrared Sounder(AIRS)onboard the Aqua satellite.Jinqiang Zhang Chunxiang Ye Yuejian Xuan Zhixuan Bai Weili Lin Dan Li Lingkun Ran Baofeng Jiao YaomingMa Weiqiang Ma Nan Yao Yunshu Zeng Daren Lv Tong Zhu 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2:0
5The role of Class Ⅱ KNOX family in controlling compound leaf patterning in Medicago truncatula显示文摘Compound leaf development requires the coordination of genetic factors, hormones, and other signals. In this study, we explored the functions of Class Ⅱ KNOTTED-like homeobox(KNOXII)genes in the model leguminous plant Medicago truncatula. Phenotypic and genetic analyses suggest that Mt KNOX4, 5 are able to repress leafet formation, while Mt KNOX3, 9, 10 are not involved in this developmental process. Further investigations have shown that Mt KNOX4 represses the CK signal transduction, which is downstream of Mt KNOXⅠ-mediated CK biosynthesis. 6Arbitrary manipulations of focused higher-order Poincare beams by a Fresnel zone metasurface with alternate binary geometric and propagation phases显示文摘The manipulation of high-quality vector beams(VBs)with metasurfaces is an important topic and has potential for classical and quantum applications.In this paper,we propose a Fresnel zone(FZ)metasurface with metallic nanoslits arranged on FZs,which sets alternate binary geometric and propagation phases to cancel the incident spin component and focus the converted spin component(CSC).The rotation designs of nanoslits transform the incident polarization state on the conventional Poincare sphere to VBs on the higher-order Poincare(HOP)sphere.The two orbital angular momentum states of the CSCs were manipulated,and the focused HOP beams were generated.The experimental results demonstrate the broadband generation of arbitrarily focused HOP beams of high quality under the illumination of the red(632.8 nm),green(532 nm),and blue(473 nm)light.This work will be of significance for the applications of VBs in different areas,such as precision metrology,optical micromanipulation,and quantum information.XIANGYU ZENG YUQIN ZHANG MANNA GU ZIJUN ZHAN RUIRUI ZHANG YU ZHANG RUI SUN CHANGWEI HE CHUNXIANG LIU CHUANFU CHENG 2022Photonics Research2022,10,4:0
