According to the ice-water spectrum differences and the correlation between ice thickness and albedo, this paper comes up with a sea ice thickness inversion model based on the NOAA/AVHRR data. And then a sea ice resources quantity (SIQ) time series of Bohai Sea is established from 1987 to 2009. The results indicate that the average error of inversion sea ice thickness is below 30%. The maximum sea ice resources quantity is about 6 × 10 9 m 3 and the minimum is 1.3 × 10 9 m 3 . | 4 | PARylation regulates stress granule dynamics, phase separation, and neurotoxicity of disease-related RNA-binding proteins显示文摘Mutations in RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) localized in ribonucleoprotein (RNP) granules, such as hnRNP A1 and TDP-43, promote aberrant protein aggregation, which is a pathological hallmark of various neurodegenerative diseases, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Protein posttranslational modifications (PTMs) are known to 佗gulate RNP granules. In this study, we investigate the function of poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation (PARylation), an important PTM involved in DNA damage repair and cell death, in RNP granule-related neurodegeneration. We reveal that PARylation levels are a major regulator of the assembly-disassembly dynamics of RNP granules containing disease-related RBPs, hnRNP A1 and TDP-43. We find that hnRNP A1 can both be PARylated and bind to PARylated proteins or poly(ADP-ribose)(PAR). We further uncover that PARylation of hnRNP A1 at K298 controls its nucleocytoplasmic transport, whereas PAR-binding via the PAR-binding motif (PBM) of hnRNP Al regulates its association with stress granules. Moreover, we reveal that PAR not only dramatically enhances the liquid-liquid phase separation of hnRNP A1, but also promotes the co-phase separation of hnRNP A1 and TDP-43 in vitro and their interaction in vivo. Finally, both genetic and pharmacological inhibition of PARP mitigates hnRNP Al- and TDP-43-mediated neurotoxicity in cell and Drosophila models of ALS. | 6 | Combined hepatocellular and cholangiocarcinoma originating from the same clone:a pathomolecular evidence-based study显示文摘Background:Combined hepatocellular and cholangiocarcinoma(CHC) is a unique subtype of liver cancer comprising both hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ICC);however,its cellular origin remains unclear.The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinicopathologic features and the clonal relationship between HCC and ICC in 34 patients with CHC.Methods:The clinicopathologic features and prognosis of the 34 CHC patients were compared with those of 29 patients with separated HCC and ICC(5HC).Loss of heterozygosity(LOH) at 10 highly polymorphic microsatellite markers was detected in 16 CHC and 10 SHC tissues for determination of the clonal origin of CHC.Expression of hepatocyte markers[hepatocyte paraffin 1(Hep Par 1) and glypican 3(GPC3)]and cholangiocyte markers[cytokeratin(CK)7 and 19]in tumor tissues was examined by immuno histochemical analysis.Results:In the 16 CHC specimens,the difference in LOH patterns between HCC and ICC was less than 30%,suggesting the same clonal origin of HCC and ICC.Consistent with this finding,immunohistochemical analysis revealed that hepatocyte markers(Hep Par 1 and GPC3) and cholangiocyte markers(CK7 and CK19) were simultaneously expressed in both the HCC and ICC components in 52.9%of CHC specimens,suggesting that the two components shared a similar phenotype with hepatic progenitor cells(HPCs).On the contrary,in all 10 SHC cases,the difference in LOH patterns between the HCC and ICC components was greater than 30%,suggesting different clonal origins of HCC and ICC.Overall survival and disease-free survival were shorter for patients with CHC than for patients with SHC(P < 0.05).Conclusions:Our results suggest that the HCC and ICC components of CHC may originate from the same clone,having the potential for dual-directional differentiation similar to HPCs.CHC tended to exhibit the biological behaviors of both HCC and ICC,which may enhance the infiltrative capacity of tumor cells,leading to poor clinical outcomes for patients with CHC. | Qian Zhao Wen-Long Yu Xin-Yuan Lu Hui Dong Yi-Jin Gu Xia Sheng Wen-Ming Cong Meng-Chao Wu | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Cancer2016,35,11: | 9 |

| 8 | Carbendazim sensitivity in populations of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides complex infecting strawberry and yams in Hubei Province of China显示文摘The ascomycete fungus Colletotrichum gloeosporioides is a devastating plant pathogen with a wide host range and worldwide distribution. Carbendazim has been widely used to control anthracnose caused by the C. gloeosporioides complex in China for more than 30 years and resistance to carbendazim has been reported in China. A total of 125 Colletotrichum isolates of strawberry and yam were collected from different geographical regions in Hubei Province, China. Approximately 52.8% of Colletotrichum spp. isolates showed resistance to carbendazim. The isolates tested in this study belong to four species, and the frequencies of resistant isolates differed across Colletotrichum species. Resistant isolates were found in C. siamense and C. fructicola. In contrast, all isolates of C. gloeosporioides and C. aenigma were sensitive to carbendazim. Highly carbendazim-resistant isolates harbored the E198 A mutation in the β-tubulin 2(TUB2) gene, whereas moderately carbendazim-resistant isolates harbored the F200 Y mutation in the TUB2 gene. Carbendazim-sensitive Colletotrichum isolates in this study were not genetically similar enough to form a separate cluster from resistant isolates. | 10 | Combining Ability and Genetic Effects of Germination Traits of Brassica napus L.Under Waterlogging Stress Condition显示文摘Cross combinations from six rapeseed cultivars and lines were evaluated under waterlogging stress condition in order to understand the genetic mechanism of waterlogging tolerance of Brassica napus L.and provide reasonable improvement programs.There were six germination traits investigated on combining ability and heritability using complete diallel crossing method designed for 30 combinations from those six cultivars and lines.The traits included relative root length,stem length,fresh weight per plant,survival rate,electrical conductivity,and vigor index.After flooding treatment,the six traits of parents and F1 were analyzed.The general combining ability(GCA) and special combining ability(SCA) of germination traits were analyzed using Griffing I method.Among 30 cross combinations,the GCA was significantly different among six waterlogging resistance traits.The SCA of these traits was significantly different except the SCA of electrical conductivity.As a representative trait of waterlogging tolerance in rapeseed,relative vigor index had the highest narrow heritability and relatively low broad heritability.The cultivars Zhongshuang 9 and P79 had higher tolerance potential to waterlogging stress.It can be concluded that combining ability and genetic effects of relative vigor index during germination stage could be used to identify the waterlogging tolerance of rapeseed in breeding program. | CHENG Yong GU Min CONG Ye ZOU Chong-shun ZHANG Xue-kun WANG Han-zhong | 2010 | Agricultural Sciences in China2010,9,7: | 5 |

| 12 | High-entropy(Y_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Dy_(0.2)Er_(0.2)Yb_(0.2))2Hf_(2)O_(7) ceramic: A promising thermal barrier coating material显示文摘Thermal barrier coating(TBC)materials perform an increasingly important role in the thermal or chemical protection of hot components in a gas turbine.In this study,a novel high entropy hafnate(Y_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Dy_(0.2)Er_(0.2)Yb_(0.2))_(2)Hf_(2)O_(7) was synthesized by solution combustion method and investigated as a potential TBC layer.The as-synthesized(Y_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Dy_(0.2)Er_(0.2)Yb_(0.2))_(2)Hf_(2)O_(7) possesses a pure single disordered fluorite phase with a highly homogeneous distribution of rare earth(RE)cations,exhibiting prominent phase stability and excellent chemical compatibility with Al_(2)O_(3) even at 1300°C.Moreover,(Y_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Dy_(0.2)Er_(0.2)Yb_(0.2))_(2)Hf_(2)O_(7) demonstrates a more sluggish grain growth rate than Y_(2)Hf_(2)O_(7).The thermal conductivity of(Y_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Dy_(0.2)Er_(0.2)Yb_(0.2))_(2)Hf_(2)O_(7)(0.73-0.93 W m^(-1)K^(-1))is smaller than those of components RE_(2)Hf_(2)O_(7) and many high entropy TBC materials.Beside,the calculated thermal expansion coefficient(TEC)of(Y_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Dy_(0.2)Er_(0.2)Yb_(0.2))_(2)Hf_(2)O_(7)(10.68×10^(-6)/K,1100°C)is smaller than that of yttriastabilized zirconia(YSZ).Based on the results of this work,(Y_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Dy_(0.2)Er_(0.2)Yb_(0.2))_(2)Hf_(2)O_(7) is suitable for the next generation TBC materials with outstanding properties. | Longkang Cong Wei Li Jiancheng Wang Shengyue Gu Shouyang Zhang | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,6: | 4 |

| 15 | Polarization-independent all-silicon dielectric metasurfaces in the terahertz regime显示文摘Dielectric metasurfaces have achieved great success in realizing high-efficiency wavefront control in the optical and infrared ranges. Here, we experimentally demonstrate several efficient, polarization-independent, all-silicon dielectric metasurfaces in the terahertz regime. The metasurfaces are composed of cylindrical silicon pillars on a silicon substrate, which can be easily fabricated using etching technology for semiconductors. By locally tailoring the diameter of the pillars, full control over abrupt phase changes can be achieved. To show the controlling ability of the metasurfaces, an anomalous deflector, three Bessel beam generators, and three vortex beam generators are fabricated and characterized. We also show that the proposed metasurfaces can be easily combined to form composite devices with extended functionalities. | 16 | Epidemiological trends of urinary tract infections,urolithiasis and benign prostatic hyperplasia in 203 countries and territories from 1990 to 2019显示文摘Background:Urinary tract infections(UTI),urolithiasis,and benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)are three of the most common nonmalignant conditions in urology.However,there is still a lack of comprehensive and updated epidemiological data.This study aimed to investigate the disease burden of UTI,urolithiasis,and BPH in 203 countries and territories from 1990 to 2019.Methods:Data were extracted from the Global Burden of Disease 2019,including incident cases,deaths,disabilityadjusted life-years(DALYs)and corresponding age-standardized rate(ASR)from 1990 to 2019.Estimated annual percentage changes(EAPC)were calculated to evaluate the trends of ASR.The associations between disease burden and social development degrees were analyzed using a sociodemographic index(SDI).Results:Compared with 1990,the incident cases of UTI,urolithiasis,and BPH increased by 60.40%,48.57%,and 105.70%in 2019,respectively.The age-standardized incidence rate(ASIR)of UTI increased(EAPC=0.08),while urolithiasis(EAPC=–0.83)and BPH(EAPC=–0.03)decreased from 1990 to 2019.In 2019,the age-standardized mortality rate(ASMR)of UTI and urolithiasis were 3.13/100,000 and 0.17/100,000,respectively.BPH had the largest increase(110.56%)in DALYs in the past three decades,followed by UTI(68.89%)and urolithiasis(16.95%).The burden of UTI was mainly concentrated in South Asia and Tropical Latin America,while the burden of urolithiasis and BPH was recorded in Asia and Eastern Europe.Moreover,the ASIR and SDI of urolithiasis in high-SDI regions from 1990to 2019 were negatively correlated,while the opposite trend was seen in low-SDI regions.In 2019,the ASIR of UTI in females was 3.59 times that of males,while the ASIR of urolithiasis in males was 1.96 times higher than that in females.The incidence was highest in the 30–34,55–59,and 65–69 age groups among the UTI,urolithiasis,and BPH groups,respectively.Conclusions:Over the past three decades,the disease burden has increased for UTI but decreased for urolithiasis and BPH.The allocation of medical resources should be based more on the epidemiological characteristics and geographical distribution of diseases. | Cong Zhu Dan-Qi Wang Hao Zi Qiao Huang Jia-Min Gu Lu-Yao Li Xing-Pei Guo Fei Li Cheng Fang Xiao-Dong Li Xian-Tao Zeng | 2022 | Military Medical Research2022,9,4: | 4 |
