| 1 | Fundamental mechanisms and phenomena of clathrate hydrate nucleation显示文摘Insights into the mechanism of hydrate nucleation are of great significance for the development of hydrate-based technologies,hydrate relevant flow assurance,and the exploration of in situ natural gas hydrates.Compared with the thermodynamics of hydrate formation,understanding the nucleation mechanism is challenging and has drawn substantial attention in recent decades.In this paper,we attempt to give a comprehensive review of the recent progress of studies of clathrate hydrate nucleation.First,the existing hypotheses on the hydrate nucleation mechanism are introduced and discussed.Then,we summarize recent experimental studies on induction time,a key parameter evaluating the velocity of the nucleation process.Subsequently,the memory effect is particularly discussed,followed by the suggestion of several promising research perspectives. | Jinlong Cui Zhenfeng Sun Xiaohui Wang Bin Yu Shudong Leng Guangjin Chen Changyu Sun | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,9: | 11 |
| 2 | Controlling effects of differential swelling index on evolution of coal permeability显示文摘Coal permeability measurements are normally conducted under the assumption that gas pressure in the matrix is equalized with that in fracture and that gas sorption-induced swelling/shrinking strain is uniformly distributed within the coal.However,the validity of this assumption has long been questioned and differential strain between the fracture strain and the bulk strain has long been considered as the primary reason for the inconsistency between experimental data and poroelasticity solutions.Although efforts have been made to incorporate the impact into coal permeability models,the fundamental nature of those efforts to split the matrix strain between fracture and coal bulk remains questionable.In this study,a new concept of differential swelling index(DSI)was derived to theoretically define the relation among sorption-induced strains of the coal bulk,fracture,and coal matrix at the equilibrium state.DSI was a function of the equilibrium pressure and its magnitudes were regulated by the Langmuir constants of both the matrix and the coal bulk.Furthermore,a spectrum of DSI-based coal permeability models was developed to explicitly consider the effect of differential strains.These models were verified with the experimental data under the conditions of uniaxial strain,constant confining pressure,and constant effective stress. | Chuanzhong Jiang Zhenfeng Zhao Xiwei Zhang Jishan Liu Derek Elsworth Guanglei Cui | 2020 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2020,12,3: | 5 |

| 4 | Acoustic Velocity-Independent 2-D DOA Estimation for Underwater Application显示文摘In this paper,an acoustic velocityindependent two-dimensional direction of arrival(2-D DOA)estimation for underwater application is presented to eliminate the effect of the inaccurate acoustic velocity estimation.According to the geometric relationship between the linear arrays,the proposed method employs the cross correlation matrix(CCM)of the data received by three crossed linear arrays to remove the acoustic velocity factor.The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method is not susceptible to the acoustic velocity.For a single source,the proposed method outperforms the conventional method in all conditions.For multiple sources,there is a little performance degradation for the proposed method compared with the conventional method.However,the proposed method displays a better performance than the conventional method in situations where the signal to noise ratio(SNR)is extremely low or the acoustic velocity estimation error is non-negligible.Furthermore,the computational complexity of the proposed method is lower than that of the conventional method using the same amount of sensors in total,while the performance is still acceptable. | Gengxin Ning Zhenfeng Liao Xiaopeng Li Cui Yang | 2022 | Journal of Communications and Information Networks2022,7,4: | 1 |
