1SHRIMP U-Pb Zircon Geochronology of the Xiaotongguanshan and Shatanjiao Intrusions and Its Petrological Implications in the Tongling Area, Anhui显示文摘This paper determines the crystallization ages of the Xiaotongguanshan quartz monzodiorite and Shatanjiao quartz monzonite porphyry from the Tongling area using the SHRIMP zircon U-Pb method. The crystallization age of the former is 142.8±1.8 Ma; that of the latter is 151.8±2.6 Ma. These data indicate that they were formed during the Late Jurassic (142.8 to 151.8 Ma). Zoned magma chamber was formed because of double diffusive convection. 2Biological properties of neural progenitor cells isolated from the hippocampus of adult cynomolgus monkeys显示文摘Background The existence of neurogenesis in the hippocampus of adult nonhuman primates has been confirmed in recent years, however, the biological properties of adult neural stem cells or neural progenitor cells (NPCs) from this region remain to be extensively explored. The present work was to investigate on the expansion of NSCs/NPCs from the hippocampus of adult cynomolgus monkeys and the examination of their characteristics in vitro. Methods NPCs isolated from the hippocampus of adult cynomolgus monkeys were expanded in vitro in serum-free media containing growth factors, and were then allowed to differentiate by removing mitotic factors. The expansion capacity of NPCs and their differentiation potential were assayed by immunohistochemical and immunocytochemical analysis. Results During primary culture, NPCs underwent cell division, proliferation and aggregation to form neurospheres that were growing in suspension. Without mitotic stimulation, most neurospheres adhered to the culture dish and started to differentiate. Eventually, nearly 12% of the differentiated cells expressed neuron specific marker-βIII-tubulin (Tuj1) and 84% expressed astrocyte specific marker-fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP). In addition, the expression of a neural stem cell marker, nestin, was found both in NPCs and in the subgranular zone of adult monkey hippocampus, where NPCs were originally derived. Conclusions NPCs from the hippocampus of adult cynomolgus monkeys can be expanded to some extent in vitro and are capable of differentiating into neurons and astrocytes. 4SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating of the intrusives in the Tongling metallogenic cluster and its dynamic setting显示文摘This paper selected five typical Mesozoic intrusives from the Tongling metallogenic cluster (Xiaotongguanshan, Fenghuangshan, Xinqiao, Dongguashan, and Shatanjiao plutons), and made a systemic SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating for the five plutons, which produced an age range of 151.8±2.6- 142.8±1.8 Ma. This work put an accurate constraint on the formation age of the intrusives in the Tongling metallogenic cluster. These age data indicate that magmatic activity reached a peak during Late Jurassic. The intrusive sequence of magma is generally from quartz monzonite (porphyry) through monzonite to granodiorite to quartz monzodiorite to pyroxene monzodiorite to gabbro-diabase. The intrusives of different lithology differed in crystallization age, probably implying the intrusives in the Tongling area underwent an evolutional process of magma, which was closely related to geodynamical setting in the depths of the area. A dynamic model was presented for the origin of the igneous rocks in the study area as follows. The assembly between the Yangtze craton and the North China craton fini- shed at the end of T3, and then the stage of another compressional orogeny began in the Tongling area, i.e., Pacific dynamic system. Along with the subduction of the Izanagi plate underneath the Eurasian plate at J2-J3, NW-trending compression toward the East China continent was produced, and compres- sional deformation also took place, forming NE-trending fold and resulting in thickening of the crust in the Tongling area. High-density eclogite-facies rocks were produced in the low part of the crust, re- sulting in the delamination of mantle lithosphere and lower crust, and upwelling of materials in as- thenosphere. Decompression melting produced basaltic magma, and the materials in lower crust were heated by the underplating of the basaltic magma. Thus, melting of lower crust yielded granitic magma, which intruded along deep and large faults through various geological processes (J3-K1). The SHRIMP U-Pb zircon age of 151.8±2.6-142.8±1.8 Ma for intrusives in the Tongling area suggests that the de- lamination of lithosphere mantle and lower crust at least began at middle-late stage of Late Jurassic, resulting in sharp thinning of lithosphere and intense extension of middle-upper crust. Thus, a lot of decollements were produced between cover and cover, basement and cover, and middle and lower crust. This was structural layering or detachment of lithosphere in the Tongling area. 5An embryological study and systematic significance of the primitive gymnosperm Ginkgo biloba显示文摘Ginkgo biloba L.is considered one of the most ancient seed plants,with several primitive features of plant reproductive process.However,the phylogenetic position of Ginkgo and its relationship with other extant seed plants remain unclear.To gain a better understanding of these issues,we observed the embryological development of G.biloba using semi-thin sections and scanning electron microscopy.In late August,the zygote moved from the end of the micropylar to the middle of the archegonium,and mitosis resulted in many free nuclei distributed randomly in the archegonium.Afterwards,the cell wall was formed and the proembryo began to differentiate into the embryonal region and the underdeveloped presuspensor region.In early October,the embryo differentiated into two cotyledons,plumule,hypocotyl,radicle,and suspensor tissues.Subsequently,the two cotyledons grew rapidly,but the undeveloped suspensor began to degenerate and gradually disappear,indicating that the embryo had begun to mature.During early embryo development,the main supply of nutrients was carbohydrate in the cells of the jacket,tentpole,and surrounding endosperm,whereas endosperm provided nutrients during embryo maturation.Our results indicate that Ginkgo is extremely similar to cycads in terms of embryology but more similar to conifers in macromorphology and vegetative anatomy,suggesting that the Ginkgo lineage may have an intermediate phylogenetic position between cycads and conifers.Li WANG Di WANG Ming-Ming LIN Yan LU Xiao-Xue JIANG Biao JIN 2011Journal of Systematics and Evolution2011,49,4:4
6Molecular and Epidemiological Characterization of Infant Botulism in Beijing, China显示文摘Laboratory-based pathogen isolation, identification, and toxicity determination were performed on samples from a suspected case of infant botulism. Mice injected with cultures generated from the enema sample and ingested Powered infant formula(PIF) presented typical signs of botulism. Antitoxins to polyvalent botulinum neurotoxins(BoNTs) and monovalent BoNT type B antitoxin had protective effects. Clostridium botulinum isolated from the enema and residual PIF samples were positive for type B toxin. Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis(PFGE) revealed that the two strains of C. botulinum isolated from the two samples produced indistinguishable pulsotypes. 7Characterization of( Nb,Ti,Mo) C Precipitates in an Ultrahigh Strength Martensitic Steel显示文摘A study on ultrahigh strength steel plate subjected to novel thermo-mechanical control process was presented. The mechanical properties examination showed that the investigated steel exhibited excellent combination of ultra-high strength( 2 200 MPa) and toughness( 26 J). The microstructure of the experimental steel was observed by scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope. Desired martensitic lath with width of about 180- 250 nm was obtained. Nanostructured carbide precipitates with sizes of 20-50 nm,which contained Nb,Ti and Mo,were observed in the lath martensitic microstructure,and confirmed to be MC-type carbides with B1 structure by means of selected area electron diffraction.The compositional characteristics revealed by energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer mapping implied that the carbide forming elements Nb,Ti and Mo distributed in the precipitates evenly. 8The dengue preface to endemic in China's Mainland:the historical largest outbreak by Aedes albopictus in Guangzhou,2014显示文摘Background:Dengue was regarded as a mild epidemic in China's Mainland transmitted by Aedes albopictus.However,the 2014 record-breaking outbreak in Guangzhou could change the situation.In order to provide an early warning of epidemic trends and provide evidence for prevention and control strategies,we seek to characterize the 2014 outbreak through application of detailed cases and entomological data,as well as phylogenetic analysis of viral envelope(E)gene.Methods:We used case survey data identified through the Notifiable Infectious Disease Report System,entomological surveillance and population serosurvey,along with laboratory testing for IgM/IgG,NS1,and isolation of viral samples followed by E gene sequencing and phylogenetic analysis to examine the epidemiological and molecular characteristics of the outbreak.Results:The 2014 dengue outbreak in Guangzhou accounted for nearly 80%of total reported cases that year in China's Mainland;a total of 37,376 cases including 37,340 indigenous cases with incidence rate 2908.3 per million and 36 imported cases were reported in Guangzhou,with 14,055 hospitalized and 5 deaths.The epidemic lasted for 193 days from June 11 to December 21,with the highest incidence observed in domestic workers,the unemployed and retirees.The inapparent infection rate was 18.00%(135/750).In total,96 dengue virus 1(DENV-1)and 11 dengue virus 2(DENV-2)strains were isolated.Phylogenetic analysis indicated that the DENV-1 strains were divided into genotype I and V,similar to the strains isolated in Guangzhou and Dongguan in 2013.The DENV-2 strains isolated were similar to those imported from Thailand on May 11 in 2014 and that imported from Indonesia in 2012.Conclusions:The 2014 dengue epidemic was confirmed to be the first co-circulation of DENV-1 and DENV-2 in Guangzhou.The DENV-1 strain was endemic,while the DENV-2 strain was imported,being efficiently transmitted by the Aedes albopictus vector species at levels as high as Aedes aegypti.Lei Luo Li-Yun Jiang Xin-Cai Xiao Biao Di Qin-Long Jing Sheng-Yong Wang Jin-Ling Tang Ming Wang Xiao-Ping Tang Zhi-Cong Yang 2017Infectious Diseases of Poverty2017,6,1:2
9Epidemiological Survey and Analysis on an Outbreak of Gastroenteritis due to Water Contamination显示文摘Objective To document the investigation and control of an outbreak of gastroenteritis in City G,South China,and provide a reference for preventing future outbreaks.Methods An ambispective cohort study was designed.Attack rate (AR) and relative risks (RR) were calculated to identify the causes of gastroenteritis.Investigations using questionnaires included personal interviews with patients and doctors,reviews of medical records,laboratory examinations of fecal specimens and continuous hygiene monitoring of water samples from the waterworks.Results Overall,427/71534 (AR=5.97‰) cases were identified between October 31 and November 12 2010.Geographic distribution was highly localized,with 80% of cases occurring in the areas supplied by waterworks‐A.Consumption of water provided solely by waterworks‐A was found to be associated with illness (RR=8.20,95 CI%:6.12-10.99) compared with that from waterworks‐B.Microbiological analyses confirmed the presence of Norovirus in six of eight fecal samples from symptomatic patients,two water samples from waterworks‐A and two sewage samples.After taking effective measures,the hygienic indices of waterworks‐A met health criteria again on November 9 and no cases were reported 3 days later.Conclusion The outbreak reported here was caused by drinking tap water contaminated with sewage at the source.Early identification of possible contamination sources and awareness of changes that might negatively impact water quality are important preventive measures to protect public health.YANG ZhlCong WU XinWei LI TieGang LI MeiXia ZHONG Yi LIU YuFei DENG ZhiAi DI Biao HUANG Cong LIANG HuiYing WANG Ming 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,3:2

11Multi-Objective Deep Reinforcement Learning Based Time-Frequency Resource Allocation for Multi-Beam Satellite Communications显示文摘Resource allocation is an important problem influencing the service quality of multi-beam satellite communications.In multi-beam satellite communications, the available frequency bandwidth is limited, users requirements vary rapidly, high service quality and joint allocation of multi-dimensional resources such as time and frequency are required. It is a difficult problem needs to be researched urgently for multi-beam satellite communications, how to obtain a higher comprehensive utilization rate of multidimensional resources, maximize the number of users and system throughput, and meet the demand of rapid allocation adapting dynamic changed the number of users under the condition of limited resources, with using an efficient and fast resource allocation algorithm.In order to solve the multi-dimensional resource allocation problem of multi-beam satellite communications, this paper establishes a multi-objective optimization model based on the maximum the number of users and system throughput joint optimization goal, and proposes a multi-objective deep reinforcement learning based time-frequency two-dimensional resource allocation(MODRL-TF) algorithm to adapt dynamic changed the number of users and the timeliness requirements. 13A novel virtual material layer model for predicting natural frequencies of composite bolted joints显示文摘A novel virtual material layer model based on the fractal theory was proposed to predict the natural frequencies of carbon fiber reinforced plastic composite bolted joints.Rough contact surfaces of composite bolted joints are modeled with this new proposed approach.Numerical and experimental modal analyses were conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed model.A good consistence is noted between the numerical and experimental results.To demonstrate the necessity of accurately modeling the rough contact surfaces in the prediction of natural frequencies,virtual material layer model was compared with the widely used traditional model based on the Master-Slave contact algorithm and experiments,respectively.Results show that the proposed model has a better agreement with experiments than the widely used traditional model(the prediction accuracy is raised by 8.77%when the pre-tightening torque is 0.5 N·m).Real contact area ratio A*of three different virtual material layers were calculated.Value of A*were discussed with dimensionless load P*,fractal dimension D and fractal roughness G.This work provides a new efficient way for accurately modeling the rough contact surfaces and predicting the natural frequencies of composite bolted joints,which can be used to help engineers in the dynamic design of composite materials.Yu YANG Hui CHENG Biao LIANG Di ZHAO Junshan HU Kaifu ZHANG 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,8:1

16Fractal characteristic evaluation and interpolation reconstruction for surface topography of drilled composite hole wall显示文摘In this paper,an improved fractal interpolation model is proposed to reconstruct the surface topography of composite hole wall.This model adopts the maximum positive deviations and maximum negative deviations between the measured values and trend values to determine the contraction factors.Hole profiles in 24 directions are measured.Fractal parameters are calculated to evaluate the measured surface profiles.The maximum and minimum fractal dimension of the hole wall are 1.36 and 1.07,whereas the maximum and minimum fractal roughness are 4.05 x 10-5 and 4.36 x 10-10 m,respectively.Based on the two-dimensional evaluation results,three-dimensional surface topographies in five typical angles(0°,45°,90°,135°,and 165°)are reconstructed using the improved model.Fractal parameter Ds and statistical parameters Sa9 Sq,and Sz are used to evaluate the reconstructed surfaces.Average error of Ds,Sa,Sq,and Sz between the measured surfaces and the reconstructed surfaces are 1.53%,3.60%,5.60%,and 9.47%,respectively.Compared with the model in published literature,the proposed model has equal reconstruction effect in relatively smooth surface and is more advanced in relatively rough surface.Comparative results prove that the proposed model for calculating contraction factors is more reasonable.Yu YANG Hui CHENG Biao LIANG Guoyi HOU Di ZHAO Chun LIU Kaifu ZHANG 2021Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2021,16,4:1

19Electroacupuncture Improves Blood-Brain Barrier and Hippocampal Neuroinflammation in SAMP8 Mice by Inhibiting HMGB1/TLR4 and RAGE/NADPH Signaling Pathways显示文摘Objective: To investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the beneficial effect of electroacupuncture(EA) in experimental models of Alzheimer’s disease(AD) in vivo. Methods: Senescenceaccelerated mouse prone 8(SAMP8) mice were used as AD models and received EA at Yingxiang(LI 20, bilateral) and Yintang(GV 29) points for 20 days. For certain experiments, SAMP8 mice were injected intravenously with human fibrin(2 mg). The Morris water maze test was used to assess cognitive and memory abilities. The changes of tight junctions of blood-brain barrier(BBB) in mice were observed by transmission electron microscope. The expressions of fibrin, amyloid-β(Aβ), and ionized calcium-binding adapter molecule 1(IBa-1) in mouse hippocampus(CA1/CA3) were detected by reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR), Western blot or immunohistochemical staining. The expression of fibrin in mouse plasma was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The expressions of tight junction proteins zonula occludens-1 and claudin-5 in hippocampus were detected by qRT-PCR and immunofluorescence staining.Apoptosis of hippocampal neurons was detected by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL) staining. Results: Fibrin was time-dependently deposited in the hippocampus of SAMP8mice and this was inhibited by EA treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Furthermore, EA treatment suppressed the accumulation of Aβ in the hippocampus of SAMP8 mice(P<0.01), which was reversed by fibrin injection(P<0.05 or P<0.01). EA improved SAMP8 mice cognitive impairment and BBB permeability(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Moreover, EA decreased reactive oxygen species levels and neuroinflammation in the hippocampus of SAMP8mice, which was reversed by fibrin injection(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Mechanistically, EA inhibited the promoting effect of fibrin on the high mobility group box protein 1(HMGB1)/toll-like receptor 4(TLR4) and receptor for advanced glycation end products(RAGE)/nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADPH) signaling pathways(P<0.01). 20A conductive supramolecular hydrogel creates ideal endogenous niches to promote spinal cord injury repair显示文摘The current effective method for treatment of spinal cord injury(SCI)is to reconstruct the biological microenvironment by filling the injured cavity area and increasing neuronal differentiation of neural stem cells(NSCs)to repair SCI.However,the method is characterized by several challenges including irregular wounds,and mechanical and electrical mismatch of the material-tissue interface.In the current study,a unique and facile agarose/gelatin/polypyrrole(Aga/Gel/PPy,AGP3)hydrogel with similar conductivity and modulus as the spinal cord was developed by altering the concentration of Aga and PPy.The gelation occurred through non-covalent interactions,and the physically crosslinked features made the AGP3 hydrogels injectable.In vitro cultures showed that AGP3 hydrogel exhibited excellent biocompatibility,and promoted differentiation of NSCs toward neurons whereas it inhibited over-proliferation of astrocytes.The in vivo implanted AGP3 hydrogel completely covered the tissue defects and reduced injured cavity areas.In vivo studies further showed that the AGP3 hydrogel provided a biocompatible microenvironment for promoting endogenous neurogenesis rather than glial fibrosis formation,resulting in significant functional recovery.RNA sequencing analysis further indicated that AGP3 hydrogel significantly modulated expression of neurogenesis-related genes through intracellular Ca2+signaling cascades.Overall,this supramolecular strategy produces AGP3 hydrogel that can be used as favorable biomaterials for SCI repair by filling the cavity and imitating the physiological properties of the spinal cord.Biao Yang Chengzhen Liang Di Chen Feng Cheng Yuang Zhang Shaoke Wang Jiawei Shu Xianpeng Huang Jingkai Wang Kaishun Xia Liwei Ying Kesi Shi Chenggui Wang Xuhua Wang Fangcai Li Qian Zhao Qixin Chen 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,9:0
