1Late Miocene Red River submarine fan,northwestern South China Sea显示文摘A huge submarine fan is discovered through the research of the seismic and borehole data in the binding site of Yinggehai basin and Qiongdongnan basin in northwestern South China Sea.The fan,mainly formed during Late Miocene (Huangliu period) has an area over 10000 km 2 and maximum thickness of over 2000 m.It is characterized by a wedge-shaped oblique progradation configuration on the dip profile and a hummocky bidirectional progradation configuration on the strike profile.The core and Logging data from the well YC35-1-2 located in the front side of the fan indicate that sandy gravity flow deposits are predominant in lower Huangliu Formation and change to interbeds of sand and mud in upper Huangliu Formation.The fan is interpreted as a sand/mud-rich submarine fan in combination with the bathyal geological background of Huangliu period.A preliminary analysis of provenance indicates that neither the Guiren Uplift in the west nor the Hainan Uplift in the north can serve as the major provenance for the submarine fan.The provenance is considered to be from the Red River,based on the sedimentary facies study of the Huangliu Formation in Yinggehai basin.The fan is thus named as 'Red River submarine fan'.The Red River depositional system consists of the Red River submarine fan,the Red River delta,and associated submarine canyons.The discovery of the Red River submarine fan provides important information for the research of the uplift of Tibetan Plateau and the evolvement of Red River Fault Zone.Furthermore,it also points out a new direction for the deepwater hydrocarbon exploration in the northern South China Sea.WANG YingMin XU Qiang LI Dong HAN JianHui LU Ming WANG YongFeng LI WeiGuo WANG HaiRong 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,14:28
2Novel Insights into Energy Storage Mechanism of Aqueous Rechargeable Zn/MnO2 Batteries with Participation of Mn2+显示文摘Aqueous rechargeable Zn/MnO2 zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)are reviving recently due to their low cost,non-toxicity,and natural abundance.However,their energy storage mechanism remains controversial due to their complicated electrochemical reactions.Meanwhile,to achieve satisfactory cyclic stability and rate performance of the Zn/MnO2 ZIBs,Mn2+ is introduced in the electrolyte(e.g.,ZnSO4 solution),which leads to more complicated reactions inside the ZIBs systems.Herein,based on comprehensive analysis methods including electrochemical analysis and Pourbaix diagram,we provide novel insights into the energy storage mechanism of Zn/MnO2 batteries in the presence of Mn2+.A complex series of electrochemical reactions with the coparticipation of Zn2+,H+,Mn2+,SO42-,and OH-were revealed.During the first discharge process,co-insertion of Zn2+ and H+ promotes the transformation of MnO2 into ZnxMnO4,MnOOH,and Mn2O3,accompanying with increased electrolyte pH and the formation of ZnSO4·3 Zn(OH)2-5 H2O.During the subsequent charge process,ZnxMnO4,MnOOH,and Mn2O3 revert to a-MnO2 with the extraction of Zn2+ and H+,while ZnSO4·3Zn(OH)2·5H2O reacts with Mn2+ to form ZnMn3O7·3 H2O.In the following charge/discharge processes,besides aforementioned electrochemical reactions,Zn2+ reversibly insert into/extract from α-MnO2,ZnxMnO4,and ZnMn3O7·3H2O hosts;ZnSO4·3Zn(OH)2·5 H2O,Zn2Mn3O8,and ZnMn2O4 convert mutually with the participation of Mn2+.This work is believed to provide theoretical guidance for further research on high-performance ZIBs.Yongfeng Huang Jian Mou Wenbao Liu Xianli Wang Liubing Dong Feiyu Kang Chengjun Xu 2019Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,3:11
3The early-middle Miocene submarine fan system in the Pearl River Mouth Basin, South China Sea显示文摘Based on a large amount of seismic, drilling and core data, the characteristics of the earlymiddle Miocene submarine fans in the Baiyun Sag, northern South China Sea are investigated. By analyzing the sedimentary processes of submarine fans in SQ21 (SQ21 refers to the 3rd-order sequence with its bottom boundary 21 Ma), a sedimentary model of the sand-rich fans is established and the main factors controlling fan deposition are detailed. The results indicate that from early to middle Miocene the Pearl River Mouth Basin developed seven 3rd-order sequences in all, with each lowstand systems tract (LST) of the sequence corresponding to submarine fans. However, only the fans in SQ13.8 and SQ21 are sand-rich fans, the others being mud-rich fans. The cores reveal that the submarine fans in the Pearl River Mouth Basin developed five lithofacies: (1) mud clast-bearing sandstone, interpreted as channel deposits; (2) typical turbidite sandstones, also interpreted as channel deposits; (3) thin-bedded sandstone and mudstone, interpreted as channel-levee complex deposits; (4) massive sandstones, interpreted as lobe deposits; (5) massive mudstone, interpreted as hemipelagic mud. The sand-rich submarine fans in the Pearl River Mouth Basin mainly developed in LST, and in LST reverse faults were active, which led to the formation of accommodation on the shelf. Different from the theory of classic sequence stratigraphy, the accommodation on the shelf captures terrigenous debris transported by the Pearl River, and the uplift at the edge of shelf serves as a 'Linear Source' for the deep water area instead of the Pearl River. Therefore, the fans mainly derived from the eroded debris from the uplift. 4Genome-Wide Identification of Zn_(2)Cys_(6 ) Class Fungal-Specific Transcription Factors(ZnFTFs)and Functional Analysis of UvZnFTFI in Ustilaginoidea virens显示文摘Transcription factors(TFs)orchestrate the regulation of cellular gene expression and thereby determine cell functionality.In this study,we analyzed the distribution of TFs containing domains,which named as ZnFTFs,both in ascomycete and basidiomycete fungi.We found that ZnFTFs were widely distributed in these fungal species,but there was more expansion of the ZnFTF class in Ascomycota than Basidiomycota.We identified 40 ZnFTFs in Ustilaginoidea virens,and demonstrated the involvement of UvZnFTF1 in vegetative growth,conidiation,pigment biosynthesis and pathogenicity.RNA-Seq analysis suggested that UvZnFTF1 may regulate different nutrient metabolism pathways,the production of secondary metabolites,and the expression of pathogen-host interaction genes and secreted protein-encodi ng genes.Analysis of the distributi on of differe nt fungal TFs in U.virens further dem on strated that UvZnFTFs make up a large TF family and may play essential biological roles in U.virens.SONG Tianqiao ZHANG Xiong ZHANG You LIANG Dong YAN Jiaoling YU Junjie YU Mina CAO Huijuan YONG Mingli PAN Xiayan QI Zhongqiang DU Yan ZHANG Rongsheng LIU Yongfeng 2021Rice science2021,28,6:4
5Recent progress about 2D metal dichalcogenides: Synthesis and application in photodetectors显示文摘In recent years, two-dimensional (2D) layered metal dichalcogenides (MDCs) have received enormous attention on account of their excellent optoelectronic properties. Especially, various MDCs can be constructed into vertical/lateral heterostructures with many novel optical and electrical properties, exhibiting great potential for the application in photodetectors. Therefore, the batch production of 2D MDCs and their heterostructures is crucial for the practical application. Recently, the vapour phase methods have been proved to be dependable for growing large-scale MDCs and related heterostructures with high quality. In this paper, we summarize the latest progress about the synthesis of 2D MDCs and their heterostructures by vapour phase methods. Particular focus is paid to the control of influence factors during the vapour phase growth process. Furthermore, the application of MDCs and their heterostructures in photodetectors with outstanding performance is also outlined. 6Grain refinement of Mg-3Y alloy using Mg-10Al_(2)Y master alloy显示文摘The as-extruded Mg-10Al_(2)Y master alloy was chosen as a novel grain refiner for as-cast Mg-3Y alloy.Contrast samples of cast Mg-3Y alloy added with pure Al and Mg-Zr master alloy grain refiners were prepared under the same conditions.In this study,the influence of addition amounts of Al_(2)Y and holding time on grain refinement efficiency as well as tensile properties was investigated.And the grain refining ability of the Al_(2)Y particles was systematically evaluated in terms of the addition amounts,number density of the Al_(2)Y particles and holding time.The finest grains are achieved at 2 wt% Al_(2)Y addition amount,which corresponds to number density of the polygonal Al_(2)Y particles of 420-460 mm^(-2).The Mg-10Al_(2)Y master alloy has significant refinement performance and no refining recession occurs at the holding time within 60 min,or the settling time up to 180 min.Grain refinement and the second phase strengthening of uniformly distributed Al_(2)Y particles contribute to the simultaneous enhancement on both strength and elongation of Mg-3Y alloy.Zhongtao Jiang Xiang Meng Bin Jiang Shan Jiang Jiahong Dai Jingren Dong Yongfeng Ding 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,7:2
7An Optimal CDG Framework for Energy Efficient WSNs显示文摘Compressed sensing(CS) has been applied widely in Wireless sensor networks(WSNs) recently.An optimal Compressed data gathering(CDG) framework for energy efficient WSNs is proposed here. A novel Measurement matrix optimization algorithm(MMOA) is proposed for compressed data measurement in WSNs. Diffusion wavelet transform matrix(DWTM) is chosen for sparse representation of the compressed data. An Optimal data aggregation tree(ODAT) algorithm is presented based on CS and routing technology. MMOA is to reduce the data transmissions under the same data reconstruction ratio. DWTM is to make the original data become more sparse and to increase the compressed data reconstruction ratio. The main purpose of ODAT is to minimize the energy consumption of the whole WSNs through the CDG technology and the optimal route. 8Reduced graphene oxide supported Pd-Cu-Co trimetallic catalyst:synthesis,characterization and methanol electrooxidation properties显示文摘Trimetallic palladium-copper-cobalt nanoparticles supported on reduced graphene oxide(PdCuCo/RGO)with different molar ratios of Pd,Cu and Co can be synthesized by facile chemical reduction with NaBH_4 as reductant and cetrimonium bromide as stabilizer.The morphology,structure and composition of the as-synthesized catalysts are characterized by transmission electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction and Xray photoelectron spectroscopy.The cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry are utilized to investigate the electrochemical activities and stabilities of the as-obtained catalysts.The results demonstrate that the PdCuCo/RGO catalyst shows superior catalytic activity and stability for methanol electrooxidation in alkaline media compared with PdCu/RGO,PdCo/RGO,and Pd/RGO catalysts.These findings suggest that the PdCuCo/RGO catalyst possesses a great potential as a promising anode catalyst for direct methanol fuel cells.Fan Yang Bing Zhang Sen Dong Chunxia Wang Andong Feng Xiaoxu Fan Yongfeng Li 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,2:2

12Few-layer Ti3C2Tx MXene delaminated via flash freezing for high-rate electrochemical capacitive energy storage显示文摘Few-layer Ti3C2Tx MXene is synthesized from multi-layered Ti3C2Tx via a flash freezing-assisted delamination process.During the flash freezing process,the water molecules in the interlayers of multi-layered MXene are induced to rearrange and produce volume expansion,thus notably expand the MXenes’interlayer distance to form few-layer MXene.The synthesized few-layer Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets display a very small thickness(less than 5 Ti3C2 atom-layers)and expanded interlayer spacing.Consequently,the few-layer Ti3C2Tx exhibits enhanced capacitance(255 F g^-1 vs.177 F g^-1 for the multi-layered Ti3C2Tx)and significantly optimized rate capability(150 F g^-1 at 200 mV s^-1 vs.25 F g^-1 for the multi-layered Ti3C2Tx),because redox-active sites in the few-layer MXene are easily accessible to electrolyte ions.Moreover,an asymmetric supercapacitor is constructed using the few-layer Ti3C2Tx negative electrode and an activated carbon fiber positive electrode.The asymmetric supercapacitor presents a high energy density of 17.9 Wh kg^-1 and a high power density of 14 kW kg^-1,which is inseparable from its wide voltage window of 1.4 V and the good rate performance of the few-layer Ti3C2Tx MXene electrode.Overall,the flash freezing-assist delamination provides an effective and environmental-friendly strategy to synthesize few-layer MXene materials for high-rate electrochemical energy storage.Xianli Wang Liubing Dong Wenbao Liu Yongfeng Huang Xuechao Pu Jinjie Wang Feiyu Kang Jia Lia Chengjun Xu 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,9:1
13Distinct lung microbial community states in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis显示文摘An improved understanding of the lung microbiome may lead to better strategies to diagnose, treat, and prevent pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB). However, the characteristics of the lung microbiomes of patients with TB remain largely undefined. In this study, 163 bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) samples were collected from 163 sputum-negative suspected PTB patients. Furthermore, 12 paired BAL samples were obtained from 12 Mycobacterium tuberculosis-positive (MTB+) patients before and after negative conversion following a two-month anti-TB treatment. The V3–V4 region of the 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene was used to characterize the microbial composition of the lungs. The results showed that the prevalence of MTB in the BAL samples was 42.9% (70/163) among the sputum-negative patients. The α-diversity of lung microbiota was significantly less diverse in MTB+ patients compared with Mycobacterium tuberculosis-negative (MTB–) patients. There was a significant difference in β-diversity between MTB+ and MTB– patients. MTB+ patients were enriched with Anoxybacillus, while MTB– patients were enriched with Prevotella, Alloprevotella, Veillonella, and Gemella. There was no significant difference between the Anoxybacillus detection rates of MTB+ and MTB– patients. The paired comparison between the BAL samples from MTB+ patients and their negative conversion showed that BAL negative-conversion microbiota had a higher α-diversity. In conclusion, distinct features of airway microbiota could be identified between samples from patients with and without MTB. 19Intrinsic defects of nonprecious metal electrocatalysts for energy conversion: Synthesis, advanced characterization, and fundamentals显示文摘With the depletion of fossil fuels and environmental pollution, energy storage and conversion have become the focus of current research. Water splitting and fuel cell technologies have made outstanding contributions to energy conversion. However, the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) have slow kinetics, which limit the capacity of fuel cells. It is of great significance to develop catalysts for the OER and ORR and continuously improve their catalytic performance. Many studies have shown that intrinsic defects, especially vacancies (anion and cation vacancies), can effectively improve the efficiency of electrochemical energy storage and conversion. The introduction of intrinsic defects can generally expose more active sites, enhance conductivity, adjust the electronic state, and promote ion diffusion, thereby enhancing the catalytic performance. This review comprehensively summarizes the latest developments regarding the effects of intrinsic defects on the performance of non-noble metal electrocatalysts. According to the type of intrinsic defect, this article reviews in detail the regulation mechanism, preparation methods and advanced characterization techniques of intrinsic defects in different materials (oxides, non-oxides, etc.). Then, the current difficulties and future development of intrinsic defect regulation are analyzed and discussed thoroughly. 20Molecular mechanism and promising treatments of chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome:An exploratory bibliometric analysis and literature review of preclinical studies显示文摘Background:As one of the most common diseases in urology,a large number of preclinical studies have been accumulated to explore the etiological mechanism and potential intervention of chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome(CP/CPPS).Methods:In this study,we systematically evaluated the current status of preclinical research on CP/CPPS through bibliometrics analysis using VOSviewer and Citespace.Characteristics of publication such as year,country/region,institution,author,journal,citation,and keywords were analyzed.Based on the bibliometrics analysis results of keywords,we summarized the possible mechanisms and promising treatments for CP/CPPS narratively.Results:According to the results of this study,the most common mechanisms involved in CP/CPPS were as follows:Disturbed immune and inflammation mediators,immune cell dysfunction,oxidative stress,dysregulated signaling pathways,apoptosis,gut microbiota,and testosterone metabolism.Traditional Chinese Medicine and extracorporeal shock wave therapy have important potential in the treatment of CP/CPPS.Conclusion:Further translational studies targeting the above mechanisms and validating the objective efficacy of potential treatments indicated by preclinical studies in clinical patients are needed in the future.Yongfeng Lao Xin Guan Jian Wang Yanan Bai Zewen Li Zhiping Wang Zhilong Dong 2023UroPrecision2023,1,4:0
