| 2 | Simultaneous pyridine biodegradation and nitrogen removal in an aerobic granular system显示文摘Simultaneous pyridine biodegradation and nitrogen removal were successfully achieved in a sequencing batch reactor(SBR) based on aerobic granules. In a typical SBR cycle, nitritation occurred obviously after the majority of pyridine was removed, while denitrification occurred at early stage of the cycle when oxygen consumption was aggravated. The effect of several key operation parameters, i.e., air flow rate, influent NH_4^+-N concentration,influent p H and pyridine concentration, on nitritation, pyridine degradation and total nitrogen(TN) removal, was systematically investigated. The results indicated that high air flow rate had a positive effect on both pyridine degradation and nitritation but a negative impact of overhigh air flow rate. With the increase of NH_4^+ dosage, both nitritation and TN removal could be severely inhibited. Slightly alkaline condition, i.e., pH 7.0–8.0, was beneficial for both pyridine degradation and nitritation. High pyridine dosage often resulted in the delay of both pyridine degradation and nitritation. Besides, extracellular polymeric substances production was affected by air flow rate, NH_4^+ dosage, pyridine dosage and p H.In addition, high-throughput sequencing analysis demonstrated that Bdellovibrio and Paracoccus were the dominant species in the aerobic granulation system. | 3 | Multimodal Identification by Transcriptomics and Multiscale Bioassays of Active Components in Xuanfeibaidu Formula to Suppress Macrophage-Mediated Immune Response显示文摘Xuanfeibaidu Formula (XFBD) is a Chinese medicine used in the clinical treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients. Although XFBD has exhibited significant therapeutic efficacy in clinical practice, its underlying pharmacological mechanism remains unclear. Here, we combine a comprehensive research approach that includes network pharmacology, transcriptomics, and bioassays in multiple model systems to investigate the pharmacological mechanism of XFBD and its bioactive substances. High-resolution mass spectrometry was combined with molecular networking to profile the major active substances in XFBD. A total of 104 compounds were identified or tentatively characterized, including flavonoids, terpenes, carboxylic acids, and other types of constituents. Based on the chemical composition of XFBD, a network pharmacology-based analysis identified inflammation-related pathways as primary targets. Thus, we examined the anti-inflammation activity of XFBD in a lipopolysaccharide-induced acute inflammation mice model. XFBD significantly alleviated pulmonary inflammation and decreased the level of serum proinflammatory cytokines. Transcriptomic profiling suggested that genes related to macrophage function were differently expressed after XFBD treatment. Consequently, the effects of XFBD on macrophage activation and mobilization were investigated in a macrophage cell line and a zebrafish wounding model. XFBD exerts strong inhibitory effects on both macrophage activation and migration. Moreover, through multimodal screening, we further identified the major components and compounds from the different herbs of XFBD that mediate its anti-inflammation function. Active components from XFBD, including Polygoni cuspidati Rhizoma, Phragmitis Rhizoma, and Citri grandis Exocarpium rubrum, were then found to strongly downregulate macrophage activation, and polydatin, isoliquiritin, and acteoside were identified as active compounds. Components of Artemisiae annuae Herba and Ephedrae Herba were found to substantially inhibit endogenous macrophage migration, while the presence of ephedrine, atractylenolide I, and kaempferol was attributed to these effects. | 5 | An Alamouti coded CP-FBMC-MIMO system with two transmit antennas显示文摘In this paper, we propose an Alamouti coding for filter bank multicarrier(FBMC) with cyclic prefix(CP) for two transmit antennas, which can avoid the imaginary interference problem existing in the conventional FBMC with multi-antenna systems. Instead of performing Alamouti coding on original data symbols, we perform Alamouti coding on pre-processing signal at the transmitter in our proposed scheme. We show that our proposed scheme has fast single-symbol maximum-likelihood(ML) decoding and achieves full spatial diversity. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can achieve the BER performance of Alamouti coding under both of the flat-fading channel and the frequency-selective channel. | 7 | Genesis of the Changba–Lijiagou Giant Pb-Zn Deposit, West Qinling, Central China: Constraints from S-Pb-C-O isotopes显示文摘The extensive Changba-Lijiagou Pb-Zn deposit is located in the north of the Xihe–Chengxian ore cluster in West Qinling. The ore bodies are mainly hosted in the marble, dolomitic marble and biotite-calcite-quartz schist of the Middle Devonian Anjiacha Formation, and are structurally controlled by the fault and anticline. The ore-forming process can be divided into three main stages, based on field geological features and mineral assemblages. The mineral assemblages of hydrothermal stage I are pale-yellow coarse grain, low Fe sphalerite, pyrite with pits, barite and biotite. The mineral assemblages of hydrothermal stage II are black-brown cryptocrystalline, high Fe shalerite, pyrite without pits, marcasite or arsenopyrite replace the pyrite with pits, K-feldspar. The features of hydrothermal stage III are calcite-quartz-sulfide vein cutting the laminated, banded ore body. Forty-two sulfur isotope analyses, twenty-five lead isotope analyses and nineteen carbon and oxygen isotope analyses were determined on sphalerite, pyrite, galena and calcite. The δ34 S values of stage I(20.3 to 29.0‰) are consistent with the δ34 S of sulfate(barite) in the stratum. Combined with geological feature, inclusion characteristics and EPMA data, we propose that TSR has played a key role in the formation of the sulfides in stage I. The δ34 S values of stage II sphalerite and pyrite(15.1 to 23.0‰) are between sulfides in the host rock, magmatic sulfur and the sulfate(barite) in the stratum. This result suggests that multiple S reservoirs were the sources for S2-in stage II. The δ34 S values of stage III(13.1 to 22‰) combined with the structure of the geological and mineral features suggest a magmatic hydrothermal origin of the mineralization. The lead isotope compositions of the sulfides have 206 Pb/204 Pb ranging from 17.9480 to 17.9782, 207 Pb/204 Pb ranging from 15.611 to 15.622, and 208 Pb/204 Pb ranging from 38.1368 to 38.1691 in the three ore-forming stages. The narrow and symmetric distributions of the lead isotope values reflect homogenization of granite and mantle sources before the Pb-Zn mineralization. The δ13 CPDB and δ18 OSMOW values of stage I range from-0.1 to 2.4‰ and from 18.8 to 21.7‰. The values and inclusion data indicate that the source of fluids in stage I was the dissolution of marine carbonate. The δ13 CPDB and δ18 OSMOW values of stage II range from-4 to 1‰ and from 12.3 to 20.3‰, suggesting multiple C-O reservoirs in the Changba deposit and the addition of mantle-source fluid to the system. The values in stage III are-3.1‰ and 19.7‰, respectively. We infer that the process of mineralization involved evaporitic salt and sedimentary organic-bearing units interacting through thermochemical sulfate reduction through the isotopic, mineralogy and inclusion evidences. Subsequently, the geology feature, mineral assemblages, EPMA data and isotopic values support the conclusion that the ore-forming hydrothermal fluids were mixed with magmatic hydrothermal fluids and forming the massive dark sphalerite, then yielding the calcite-quartz-sulfide vein ore type at the last stage. | 9 | Confined interface engineering of self-supported Cu@N-doped graphene for electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction with enhanced selectivity towards ethanol显示文摘Electroreduction of greenhouse gas CO_(2) into value-added fuels and chemicals provides a promising pathway to address the issues of energy crisis and environmental change.However,the regulations of the selectivity towards C2 product and the competing hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)are major challenges for CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR).Here,we develop an interface-enhanced strategy by depositing a thin layer of nitrogen-doped graphene(N-G)on a Cu foam surface(Cu-N-G)to selectively promote the ethanol pathway in CO_(2)RR.Compared to the undetectable ethanol selectivity of pure Cu and Cu@graphene(Cu-G),Cu-N-G has boosted the ethanol selectivity to 33.1%in total Faradic efficiency(FE)at−0.8 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE).The experimental and density functional theory(DFT)results verify that the interconnected graphene coating can not only serve as the fast charge transport channel but also provide confined nanospace for mass transfer.The N doping can not only trigger the intrinsic interaction between N in N-G and CO_(2) molecule for enriching the local concentration of reactants but also promote the average valence state of Cu for C–C coupling pathways.The confinement effect at the interface of Cu-N-G can not only provide high adsorbed hydrogen(Had)coverage but also stabilize the key*HCCHOH intermediate towards ethanol pathway.The provided interface-enhanced strategy herein is expected to inspire the design of Cubased CO_(2)RR electrocatalysts towards multi-carbon products. | Dejin Zang Xuejiao JGao Leyun Li Yongge Wei Haiqing Wang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,10: | 3 |

A new breakthrough has been made in prospecting for gold and copper in recent years. In this paper, the distribution characteristics of ore deposits in the study area are discussed from the viewpoint of tectonic evolution. It is suggested that there are 9 stages of mineralization from the Palaeoproterozoic to Indosinian. Four minerogenetic series and two minerogenetic subseries of ore deposits are recognized. Iron mineralization occurred in several stages, while most of the metals were accumulated in large amounts in the Caledonian.
