1Coaxial-printed small-diameter polyelectrolyte-based tubes with an electrostatic self-assembly of heparin and YIGSR peptide for antithrombogenicity and endothelialization显示文摘Low patency ratio of small-diameter vascular grafts remains a major challenge due to the occurrence of thrombosis formation and intimal hyperplasia after transplantation.Although developing the functional coating with release of bioactive molecules on the surface of small-diameter vascular grafts are reported as an effective strategy to improve their patency ratios,it is still difficult for current functional coatings cooperating with spatiotemporal control of bioactive molecules release to mimic the sequential requirements for antithrombogenicity and endothelialization.Herein,on basis of 3D-printed polyelectrolyte-based vascular grafts,a biologically inspired release system with sequential release in spatiotemporal coordination of dual molecules through an electrostatic self-assembly was first described.A series of tubes with tunable diameters were initially fabricated by a coaxial extrusion printing method with customized nozzles,in which a polyelectrolyte ink containing of ε-polylysine and sodium alginate was used.Further,dual bioactive molecules,heparin with negative charges and Tyr-Ile-Gly-Ser-Arg(YIGSR)peptide with positive charges were layer-by-layer assembled onto the surface of these 3D-printed tubes.Due to the electrostatic interaction,the sequential release of heparin and YIGSR was demonstrated and could construct a dynamic microenvironment that was thus conducive to the antithrombogenicity and endothelialization.This study opens a new avenue to fabricate a small-diameter vascular graft with a biologically inspired release system based on electrostatic interaction,revealing a huge potential for development of small-diameter artificial vascular grafts with good patency.Zhiwen Zeng Chengshen Hu Qingfei Liang Lan Tang Delin Cheng Changshun Ruan 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,6:3

3Parameter Identification Based on Force-Displacement Curves for a Bolted Joint Finite Element Model显示文摘In order to identify the uncertain parameters of a bolted joint finite element model,a simple and applicable way of parameter identification is introduced.By utilizing numerical simulation with the Abaqus software and experimental investigation with the MTS material testing system,the tangential force-displacement curves that reflect the characteristics of the bolted joint were acquired.On the basis of this,by employing the response surface methodology(RSM)and genetic algorithms(GAs),parameters in the FEM model were identified.The force-displacement curves by both virtual and experimental approaches are well correlated at the end.This phenomenon-based parameter identification method may help facilitate precise prediction of complex jointed connection structures.Delin Sun Ridong Liao Dexing Qian Zhengkun Cheng 2017Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2017,26,1:0
4Segment differential aggregation representation and supervised compensation learning of ConvNets for human action recognition显示文摘With more multi-modal data available for visual classification tasks,human action recognition has become an increasingly attractive topic.However,one of the main challenges is to effectively extract complementary features from different modalities for action recognition.In this work,a novel multimodal supervised learning framework based on convolution neural networks(Conv Nets)is proposed to facilitate extracting the compensation features from different modalities for human action recognition.Built on information aggregation mechanism and deep Conv Nets,our recognition framework represents spatial-temporal information from the base modalities by a designed frame difference aggregation spatial-temporal module(FDA-STM),that the networks bridges information from skeleton data through a multimodal supervised compensation block(SCB)to supervise the extraction of compensation features.We evaluate the proposed recognition framework on three human action datasets,including NTU RGB+D 60,NTU RGB+D 120,and PKU-MMD.The results demonstrate that our model with FDA-STM and SCB achieves the state-of-the-art recognition performance on three benchmark datasets.REN ZiLiang ZHANG QieShi CHENG Qin XU ZhenYu YUAN Shuai LUO DeLin 2024Science China(Technological Sciences)2024,67,1:0

7Effect of Mineralized Layer Topographies on Stem Cell Behavior in Microsphere Scaffold显示文摘Modifying substrates through mineralization is a popular way to improve the osteogenic performance.Screening of the best mineralization characteristics on specific substrates for stem cells is meaningful but not fully studied. In this paper, poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)/hydroxyapatite(PLGA/HA, PH) microsphere scaffolds with superficial pores were fabricated by a low-temperature fusion method. After the mineralization in the 5× stimulated body fluid(SBF) for 0, 7, 12 and 24 h, four mineralized scaffolds(MPH-0,MPH-7, MPH-12 and MPH-24) with different apatite topographies were obtained. It was found that the surface of MPH-7 was evenly decorated with abundant micro-pores, MPH-12 with dense and plain apatite layer, and MPH-24 with small spherical bumps. The responses of mouse bone mesenchymal stem cells(m BMSCs) to the four scaffolds were further studied. The results showed that MPH-7 and MPH-24 had more obvious effects on m BMSCs attachment, proliferation and differentiation than MPH-0 and MPH-12. This work indicated that to obtain the maximum improvement, the mineralization characteristics had to be carefully chosen.
